We can agree that our QB had a great college career and has alot of talent that translates well to having a great NFL career.. Can we just stop talking about how good he can be and hope and wish....Lets wait to see what he does on the field.

I'm very leery of player's that get involved in contract disputes and windup being camp hold outs. However, I'm very intrigued by the idea of Aiyuk coming to the Commander's. When you consider the uncertainty around Dotson and, even more so, Brown and you consider there is already some chemistry with JD, he becomes a very intriguing prospect. The big question would be how big a chunk would he take from our salary cap?
Kind of Funny our starter AND Backup are Heisman Winners. I kept thinkin RG3 all pre-draft as a comp, but Mariota might actually be a better comp for Jayden overall as a Passer, he's just even more mobile.

Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson are on pace for HOF careers as of now. We’re talking about 1st team All-Pro WRs. Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. are great but they’re not those guys. I think Jaylens ability to run and keep the defenses honest allowed them to win more often. He made them better. I think Joe had rare once in a decade type of WR type duo.
JD will be fine, the staff is coaching him in a manor to emphasize, ir skill not just ur talent. If the line is average u wont know because of his talent...barring major injuries we just made a total 360 as an organization...

I don't think he has that kind of speed but he is fast for sure. I care more about if can he protect himself while on the move and not take unnecessary shots. The inability to do that ruined RG3's career. I also want him to be a pass first QB and use his legs to extend plays causing coverages to break down leading to big plays downfield.
And…our O line will be up against the best D’line & LB Corp , who’ll be working in bringing pressure and rushing the QB into mistakes, i BELIEVE , JD and the Offense will be Beyond prepared, the nightmares caused by JD ( if u rush and don’t have integrity-TD Commanders) .. I’m not worried about the O line

but that won't be enough for him, just like it wasn't enough for Jackson or any of the other fast QB.
As a Commanders fan I have learned to not get my hopes up too high with this team. With such a
huge turn over on their roster who knows what to expect from them this season. It's good to hear
all of this good news about them, but I have had many times when I have had that same feeling only
to be terribly disappointed with them. I am sure most Commanders fans can relate to that. So, I am
just going to wait and see where their record will be by the 6th game of the season before I decide
if this team for the first time in the last 34 years is going to turn it around and make their fans proud.

Nooo pray for a better O-Line
I like to look at the positives. Hopefully we have our franchise QB for the first time in forever. We upgraded the LB group from dead last to top 10. The Safety group of starters and b/u are improved. We have our slot corner, slot WR, and TE of the future. We picked up a DT better than Mathis and potentially replacement for Allen or Payne if they move on. We have a more reliable 3rd down RB. We upgraded the interior of the oline, including depth. We have better coaches, front office, and owner with a new stadium on the horizon, and fixing facilities now. I think we will find the sum of the parts are better than individuals. Even the Strength of Schedule against the rest of the league is better than last year. Better players, better coaches, better scheming; it is a great start to year 1. Now, about the kicker...
