- A Grateful Child interpretation of Robot, by Hawkwind. Currently my video of the month, and it would be best viewed on my website as an embedded video, and the dialog that goes with it, "Obama, and Love, Life, and the Taliban"
Brilliant tune with Calvert at his best and great electric violin from Simon House.
Great use of video clips to go with it
Yeah! ❤❤❤
@7byseven
Yeah, it's from Nice Dreams, ...one of my favorite C&C's, with it's anti-coke theme. Rude Awakening was a great film too.
@roidroid Hi..., and thanks for your interest. Yes I did, as in other videos use much of the Wall footage. No Thelma and Louise though, there was some from 'The Days of Wine and Roses' with Jack Lemon, Nice Dreams - Cheech and Chong, and of course 9 to 5 with Lily Tomlin punching the time clock and Jane Fonda in the office.
God blessings amens
Cheech and Chong do Hawkwind! Fabulous stuff.
Good video well done! It's so hard to find actual videos these days as opposed to excuses to share music with ads.
Not heard PXR5 for yonks as me record player went ages ago. got this album in 78 thk .forgot just how good this track is.@ 3.02 the violin solo is fantastic with all the effects on it .
great job ;-)
@bombsmacked @7byseven, and all...,
Thanks guys, ...I thought Timothy Leary dropping a hit onto Cheech's tounge, and the lyrics, "...you've got to unwind your mind," ...and then "Slip that Light up, ...never put a fight up," with Cheech chained to the ground wearing a straightjacket, and the sunlight beaming down on him went well together. Cocaine, ...destroyer of the hippy revolution.
R.I.P Bob Calvert
superb use of videos and the only time i've ever like the film 9 to 5 lol
@wesseavey I thought it was rude awakening, not sure ive seen nice dreams, the one where he hands a joint to the fish was hilarious but the audio shows they did were the funniest for me, still got one on a very dusty tape somewhere.
Yea like he said - great use of videos.
The films are the the wall 9 to 5 and cheech and chongs next movie one of bob calverts finest tunes
what films does this have footage from?
I recognise some from The Wall, was some also from Thelma & Louise?
