Excellent tutorial! 👍🏻👍🏻. As soon as I saw that Pigments had version 6.0 ready to go I downloaded the update instantly… I was hearing great things about its potential with the new modal engine and it does not disappoint!
Great video! Completely agree about presets; one of my favorite features in Pigments is the preset saving/loading for individual effects, no idea how they could overlook modal presets.
I am sitting here enjoying this in my car and suddenly it hits me, What the hell am I doing? Get off my ass and go in and do this myself. Haha.😜 🎶🎹🎶Play On
The modal engine sounds great, but you are dead right to say it needs the capability to load your own samples as an exciter! This is the first video I've seen to pick up on this. You can do it using two instances and select the audio in, but you do have fiddle about with the track routing in your DAW to get it working. Hopefully we'll get this in a future update!
Absolutely, can't imagine why they didn't grant access to the same library and functionality already available in the sample engine. Same with presets. One of my favorite features in Pigments is the preset saving/loading for individual effects, no idea how they could overlook modal presets.

Nice One, presets yes 😋
nice video. they packed a lot of features into that tiny confusing interface. Your walkthrough helps me
Great explanation. Really enjoyed especially as I have Pigments and never feel that I ever use it considering the potential.

@ArielTavori yeah I emailed Arturia support and they've logged it as a feature request, so hopefully we can get this in a future update.
So, this is physical modeling? Yes we should have presets.
