Osprey seems like such a nice guy. I am very happy the UK is finally getting some love and shows from both AEW and WWE. The more people that get to enjoy wrestling the better!

first interview I saw him, where he was not "promoing", i was shocked by how nice he actually comes across, seems like a class guy.

@@TrueTrueTrain Is that because most WWE talent are not athletic enough to do anything other than basic moves? They've regressed since the Attitude Era and are closer to 70s wrestling matches than current standards. Pro Wrestling has continued to evolve and WWE is behind. I guess that's why it's "Sports Entertainment" instead of Pro Wrestling now.
@@Mvaughn941 And yet Hogan and Flair and Austin and Rock and Taker did the most basic moves ever, but yet who they were on television made them the most money and most respect and most recognition, I know which one I'd rather pick. Moves don't sell tickets, charisma and personality does, LA Knight, you can define it whatever way you want but it's a business, I'd rather have everyone buying my merch over a stupid catchphrase than trying to paralyse myself and the opponent. It's a work. Tom cruise doing death defying legitimate stunts doesn't automatically make the movie a great movie.

Will saying Sting is the biggest guy on the card to Jack, a notorious Sting detractor, is the best part to me.
I found out about Will Ospreay when he was still a flippy floppy guy. I was immediately impressed (because, yes, I like that stuff). But now he has turned into such an all-round performer. Truly one of the best wrestlers in the world today. PAC also comes to mind, by the way. Also started out as a high flyer and then toned down a bit (and also one of my favorite wrestlers).

Ospreay is probably the best in the world right now and he deserves every inch of success hes gotten for his hard work and dedication.
I tried to get into the business years ago. (I have a different look being Chinese, Japanese and Hawaiian) UPW (Cena was the Prototype there) accepted me but the 9-11 tragedy stopped the move in 2001. Had a match with Yuji Nagata and another with Dragon Gate. Did a Chikara event with Generico, Fire Ant, Eddie Kingston and others. Teddy Hart moonsaulted on my head. Almost had a match with AJ Styles. My FCW tryout was with AJ Lee and Adam Rose. Did a promo in front of the legendary Dusty Rhodes. I had a smackdown tryout where I helped a run in with Matt Hardy. It was a short run but my regrets are not getting to meet and learn from all the greats. Thankfully I didn't get too hurt in those years.
And to everyone who is chasing their dream, don't give up. I hope you get farther than me.
I think its sweet that when asked about Wembley and life changing moment, he immediately started talking about his kid.
Man what a humble legend he is. Without doubt the best British wrestler ever and top 5 all time I’ve ever seen in the ring period. Love him to join AEW full time next year

I am telling you, it felt like Ospreay was more excited about doing the interview with you than you were doing it with him (in the best possible way, you rarely see wrestlers as excited about interviews as the interviewer), kind of adorable.

Not for nothing, but there were people in WCPW time saying Will wouldn't even be able to walk by now if he kept up his workrate and style - so thank fuck he's still able to not only do that but put on a show for us in some form (whether he's really toned it down or not).

Im glad that Ospreay came off so humble and chill in the interview. His match with Ricochet at bosj genuinely captivated me and introduced me to wrestling outside of WWE.
What amazes me is if jack is 5'10, then ospreay is about 5'9, same as me, yet in the ring he doesnt look undersized. Damnit. I shouldn't have given up training all those years ago 😄
Don't always listen to stats because they are rarely accurate. An NBA player could be listed at 5'10 1/4. They are automatically lifted to 5'11" and with shoes they are now listed at 6'1". Also remember Andre, he was never 7'4".
Will is one of if not the best wrestler in the world (my opinion) seems like a really good guy too, only spoken to him briefly at 1pw shows but always seems down to earth and genuine

To think that we went from once watching Will harass Jack in backstage segments for WCPW to now Jack interviewing Will as he heads into a match with Chris freaking Jericho in front of 81.000 plus people in Wemble Stadium....insane. But deserved.

He needs to go WWE, he can be a star in AEW but a megastar in WWE, WWE never had an English WWE champion, they want a Wrestlemania in UK, it would be built for him to headline it. I like AEW but there are levels and WWE is the very top level.
Depends on who running the company at that point cause I think Pete dunne should be a bigger star in WWE yet he isn't and Tyler bate should be a guy the build the company around but they have him in NXT still

@@MrThesupremeking Sure, he came in as a massive signing and was relagated to tag team division, another boring ass faction, a faction that probably should of stayed in Japan. He is nowhere near the title picture.

It wouldn't. Nxt has a certain style and direction. There is a reason why he never went to wwe.
Nxt doesn’t need saving. It’s in fire right now, and he would fit in their anyway.
