What an exciting match. Lots of twists and turns and comebacks. The new Betrayal mechanic is excellent, and the new 'traitor' titles add lots of flavor to the story. SPOILERS: I followed Red this match, and got to behold quite the rewarding storyline for it. So many times where I went 'this is it, Red's empire is over, they can't come back from this, they don't have a single hero worth a damn' and yet somehow they just kept holding on. Their opening play of immediately assassinating Yellow was hilarious too. King Paragoonnova VIII's ascension in the Battle of 20:01, against the pink horde, was truly magnificent. The downfall of the Teal Slayer was his ascension to kinghood, ironically- he grew complacent, thinking that nobody could challenge his martial prowess. Which was true- up until it wasn't. By staying in the castle for the last third of the game, he failed to go out and cut down those who would approach him in power, like he'd been doing the rest of the game, and this gave Red the breather necessary to build up a hero team capable of taking him out. I was astounded when the Pink champion fell. Guy was fuckin' invincible with his double shields, I was fully expecting him to eventually grow into a Lv7 and challenge Paragoonnova after the Ragnarocks destroyed all the towns.
Rupert and Zaavnik, the bandit Brothers that shook the continent. Appropriate that it was finally the red Kingslayers who brought down this unstoppable upstart king. Magnificent stuff
Paragoonova is something else. He was prince of purple, getting convert to cyan, kill his own king, become cyan king. He just didn't like the color purple or something.
Asking again that if a bandit clan wins more battles, the reward for defeating it should be bigger. Because at 39:30 the green ones defeated Rupert, a level 5 bandit captain who almost killed a king, and instead of getting a strong reward for a strong enemy they get five axe boys.

Belated thought: Reapers still seem a tiny bit underwhelming. What if they had a mechanic that interacted with fleeing units? Like maybe they have an aura that makes any unit that touches its main body immediately flee, or they deal double damage to fleeing units, or something of that sort. Or, maybe every time the Reaper is defeated, the next Reaper that spawns is one level stronger, so that by the end of the game the reaper is an incredibly powerful boss unit to rival the other bosses?
@@L0608948 agreed, the reapers were lethal to large crowds of weak chaff, but basically any lvl 3/4+ would just shrug off the damage, bump into it and kill it. Perhaps they could have a unique life-steal mechanic? Like they heal 20-50% of the damage they deal? Or make it so that the blade is longer/closer to the marble so that enemies are much more likely to be continually taking damage. Depends if they're supposed to remain glass cannons or not

Can we talk about how epic this duel is between red's king and the neutral anarchist Zaakit? 1:11:50 The Gray Giant, holding a dagger any man would deem a full-length sword in one arm, and in the other a tremendous axe still dripping with blood from its last victim, approached the castle menacingly, his gray eyes burning for yet another kingdom to fall to his wrath. One lone marble stood at the gateway, sword drawn. There was no one else to be seen. The Giant, seeing this, defiantly mocks the Red Kingdom in a loud, booming voice: "I will make you become the dust upon which I tread, and your bones I will turn to nothing but the salt upon which rocks are formed!" Unwavering, King Angela remained silent, prepared for whatever his destiny entailed. It was almost certain his kingdom was lost, as the Turquoise Kingdom was flourishing and his had faded to nothing but one last city. He would die with honor if he must. Some time ago, he had led a vicious attack on all other kingdoms and spread his men too thin. Almost all his most trusted generals, and even his father, had perished. Knowing this mistake, he would love nothing better than to fell this relentless beast who had also terrorized the marble civilizations. He takes a deep breath, eyes locked on Zaakit, who begins to charge with a fury unknown to the common marble. King Angela, planting his feet, remained resolute as the beast covered immense amounts of ground. Suddenly, the two clash with otherworldly intensity. Blow after blow is exchanged between the two of them, with Zaakit spinning furiously and striking Angela's shield multiple times. The Red Warlord notices a crack that has been created in his own shield by Zaakit's devastating strikes. He does his best to dodge instead of block, but it is no use against the shear length of the giant's arms. Once more, Zaakit spins his dagger and axe against Angela's shield. Angela raises it, realizing the distance has closed between them. He braces, his powerful figure ready to withstand the beast's blows. The first strike splits the shield in half entirely. Angela scrambles to raise his backup shield, but immediately faces the raw, unshielded fury of Zaakit before he can do so. With gash after gash, the Great Angela is struck over and over, and endures more than any common marble before finally dropping to his knees. He releases one final breath, and collapses, his strength spent.
Yet another spectacular chapter of Marble Kingdoms. First of all, Paragoonnova VIII had quite the journey. Alfgarda can second that. Second, Rupert was a funny guy: born, died, revived, died again. Zaakit lived to see that happen. Thirdly, Helfenbein was cool with his two ginormous shields, sad to see him die though. Other stuff: 1) kinda funny how there's two neutrals that can fight each other. 2) Cortland in my opinion was the worst king ever, dying right after being elected. 3) Paragoonnova VIII and Andy X and Zaakit and Rupert were menaces as duos. 4) Cool visual changes for the kingdom thingies, we can now see the spawners they have because it now shows icons on them. 5) Cool to see new statistics at the end. 6) Unfortunate that a lot less people were summoned. Overall: again have to say good episode. Looking forward to the next one. Maybe there'll be a lvl. 11 unit?
Maybe but its so much harder to reach this level if the warrior do so well completely if have more marble warriors he can reach the first level 11 ever i don't know what will be maybe in pretty far future in the series as a chance so small they can level up to this level as currently the strongest at once now is gunner sexton x and toby ll as both kings lvl 10! As seem.
I adore that when a monk converts the last enemy the battle transitions immediately, not giving the extra few seconds normally given. Also I beg for the patch notes to be restored to glory. I enjoy reading the little development notes, seeing exactly what has been tweaked or balanced. A shame Cyan didn’t win, but I will take second place anyway. Thanks for the video!
1:11:47 this fight with the music starting was honestly so fire. Spoilers King Anglea, a campion of the king slaying duo and their captain. Was finally alone, as Zaakit walked into the castle challenging bro to the craziest 1v1, it was close as hell until King Anglea's shields shattered and Zaakit hit him with a combo finally takibg the life of the great king. Yet in his defeat, a rage bubbled and grew within the hearts of his campions who learned of their friend's death. They eventually found him, Alfgrada defeated and slaying Rupert infront of his eyes to pay him back for what he had done, they tracked him down again and mericless jumped tf out of him 💀. He ran away from the battle mortally wounded, dying from his wounds he came upon a Red band, and in his weakened state, a young warrior named Anya landed the final blow into this ruthless warrior's heart. Spelling the end for the neutral kingdom later down the line.
Spoilers Anglea's Last stand. A warrior, one who reeked of death, came in through the castle doors, his axe grinding against the ground creating a crude scratching noise that echoed through the empty castle. As the towering warrior peered through what looked to be an empty castle, he saw. A King upon his throne, adorned in armor, that glistened as the kight fell upon him. " O' Warrior of death, he who come to claim my head, know this and this only. You will bleed." The King stood from his throne and walked towards the Giant of man, slowly picking up his pace, as did the Giant. Not a word was spoken from the Giant, but as the King clashed with his enemy he knew all to well he would lose. The flickers of light, and the sparks of iron upon iron, the King fought hard, his arcane shields covering every blunder in his stance and fault in his attacks. Yet with his powerful strikes, they cracked, they buckled under the weight of the axe. And with one final strike, they shattered before his eyes. A quick flash of arcane power came from the shields as the giant lounged at him, striking him all over his body with his blade, whilst simultaneously using his axe to rend the King apart. Anglea saw the final blow flying towards his face at an incredible speed and lamented his own doom, yet he knew. "They" would not stand for this, it comforted him in his last seconds. As the axe crashed against the King's body shattering apart of his throne, ending the king's life. News of his death spread like wild fire among the warring states, the Captain Phemiec held the letter in his hands, his grip so tight he threatened to rend it apart. Another solider walked up to the Captain, he spoke to him and could sense the rage sealed away beneath his fascade. "My lord, I have informed the others of this tragedy. "I see, say who or what did this?" "A great warrior from the neutrals, my lord." "I see."
I have to say this though but this might be the best marble kingdoms episode I ever seen. Colors of characters that are best in this episode Red - Alfgarda, Syuvi IV, Phemiec, Adelid, Roino, & Angela Honorable Mentions - Pueranus, Righetti, Muffinskill XIV, & Anya Unbelievable, That one powerful red army is very similar to the Cyan band from MK24. (Even they actually summoned Adelid the green Captain, Just like how cyans did when they summoned Andy III the blue captain.) I’m actually shocked to see one of my favorite colors actually started becoming the color tactician after MK26 and this. The twins Alfgarda and Syuvi IV both fought skillfully, and they were on a separating moments until they meet again but powerful. However Alfgarda is actually successor of Mecona from MK19 We should give respect for Phemiec the red captain, He was with the twins and fought together. There weren’t any of red captains spawning by because the main one is actually still alive. (referring to Phemiec) Adelid had a tragic story during Pretox era, Back then she was green and also more importantly she was with JYAR III who’s also green captain too. When Adelid was with JYAR III they were attacked by Andy III and the blues (Andy III who was formerly blue) and when JYAR III was killed by Nra the blue knight, she had to carry on his work for a while, And then she and her greens were attacked by the yellows and was killed by Lord Krauss the yellow hammerman. And then by this episode she was summoned by the reds. Roino who is actually the successor of Spectrazon the red monk from MK17, He holds a book and a shield (Instead of two books somehow but reasonable) Angela the Prince/King should have been a female like Princess/Queen but unless if his last name is Angela then it’s reasonable. He was also with the twins, & the main red captain, and he was declared a king after the main one Johnyxiv was killed by that gray kingsguard Nauzeous but was quickly killed by red kingsguard. After reds like Angela took beige castle, he remained there until Zaakit the bandit captain out of nowhere demolished him. Pueranus may not perform the best but he at least does keep his distance to make a clean shot as he was with the powerful reds until Rupert ended him. Righetti was one of the random red knights until he slain Cortland the blue king and relaxed at the town, until Probar II and Herenfrida (the summoned hero) invaded and only able to kill Probar II who summoned Herenfrida, but Righetti and reds retreated from her who is stronger than each of them. Righetti and reds went into the cyan duos along with their marbles, they fought but Righetti immediately realized they’re both too strong so he and other reds retreated and took a break from all of the fighting. Muffinskill XIV is also like Pueranus who also keep his distances as he was also with the powerful reds but he was killed by the crowds of blues. Anya basically just restructured herself just to become red but same unit from MK8. Not to mention she killed Zaakit the bandit captain who caused quite rampage. She was with the red band which was created by Alfgarda, Phemiec, & Adelid whose got their ideas. Farther on, The final battle begins with The red band vs The cyan duo captains with other cyan marbles. (one of them being the king) Unfortunately for some reds like Anya, she was killed by one cyan archer Aff who was quickly killed, and then the reds got their fourth win now and it seems they are doing better so far. *Skipping two of the colors like Orange and Yellow because they were the first of twos eliminated quickly* It honestly saves my time when I skipped one of the things that are not so important. Beige - Goettinger One of the first Beige heroes as Beige is new to marble kingdoms, He didn’t do much until he got the grow bigger option to have and attempted to defend a town while reaching level 2 and then reached 3 when in castle to defend the beige king named Toby III, but he was killed afterwards. Green - Ligma Ligma the green Captain literally has plot armor surviving the highly leveled marbles that were against him, He is Level 2 remained until by almost a hour later, he was killed by Pueranus. Cyan - Paragoonnova VIII & Andy X Honorable Mention - William I & Warriornest These two captains literally caused rampage, especially when they ACTUALLY LEVEL UP LIKE MULTIPLE TIMES WHEN PINKS SURROUNDED THEM GIVING THEM ADVANTAGE Anyways Paragoonnova VIII was formerly a purple captain until Jacky then cyan Prince and Andy X the cyan captain came up to him and Paragoonnova VIII immediately surrendered to become the cyan. Afterwards they fought and leveling up at the same moments, just by over a hour later, Paragoonnova VIII was declared a new cyan king. After Paragoonnova VIII was declared a king, He, Andy X, and other cyans attacked the former beige castle which was taken by the grays, and remained there. As when they both had enough, The cyan duos and the cyan marbles goes to combat now after what they see what the reds does when they’re dominating the war. But on their final battle, they both realized they could have fight often because now the red band are just much powerful than the cyan duo themselves, which causes them to be killed by them. William I had his survivability going well with the two strongest cyans, until he was ordered to go out to combat afterwards. Meanwhile William I and cyans invades former red castle (which was taken back) taken by blues but despite outmatching the blues, the blues went into a little super mode to take down William I and cyans, some have retreated to King Paragoonnova VIII. Warriornest went up with the growing bigger options to have more durability. But somehow this one got me surprised to see A HORDES OF GRAYS INVOLVING ZAAKIT & RUPERT SURROUNDING WARRIORNEST AND OTHER CYAN MARBLES But then he retreated and ended up being caught by other grays who are bandits and was killed by that bandit captain. Blue - Apeline, Zeenow, Sanae II, and Ilyannias Honorable Mentions - Probar II & Herenfrida Queen Iridumsky VII and blues after her castle was destroyed by ragnarock, They invaded former yellow castle which was taken by that pink knight, but with the power of Helfenbein’s two shields, They stood no chance against him. However things gotten better when Apeline was crowned as a king and few blue archers that makes their clean shot. But King Apeline and blues went against the red band and Apeline was killed by Alfgarda. Zeenow, Sanae II, Ilyannias, & Other blues retreated but were quickly killed by the red hordes. Probar II went against Two dark gray lumberjacks and was able to get the reward and he chose the summon a hero from past war and he got HERENFRIDA They both invaded a town but Probar II was killed leaving Herenfrida alive and remained at town. And then she and other blue marbles goes to fight now but Prince Marat and reds caught to them and were killed by them. *Skipped purple as well no purple heroes that does the best other than Paragoonnova VIII who was formerly purple but just to be cyan* Pink - Helfenbein Okay I actually like this guy for having two of the shields as a knight, Even crazy is that blue Queen Iridumsky VII and other blues invaded him but failed because Helfenbein is really skillful with his shields, which made some of blues retreated. Sadly his main shield was break by the blue hammerman. He remained at the castle until he felt like going to the combat, but then he went against the red band just to now be demolished by Syuvi IV. Gray - Zaakit & Rupert Honorable Mentions - Nauzeous & Faldron Okay I feel like I’m seeing bandit captains holding two weapons by every of episodes now I can tell. Rupert went into his opponents, especially being surrounded by the greens 2 times. The first time of him being surrounded by greens got lucky once, until his second time wasn’t because he was in a critical hp causing him to be killed by one green farmer. Zaakit on the other hand performed like a monster, surviving so long. He was with other gray marbles until they were all slain but somehow he found gray kingsguard named Nauzeous. They both teamed up and fought together, They invade the red castle and just as expected, Nauzeous killed the red king Johnyxiv before one red kingsguard killed him and then was also killed by Zaakit. Zaakit eventually got a little bored so he noticed the former beige castle held up by Angela the red king so he 1v1 him and wins it. And then after he took one cyan kingsguard down while one retreated, he went against the reaper and won it, he got the reward and chose to revive a hero and he got RUPERT! And somehow they both pair up together to take down any of colors. Afterwards Zaakit, Rupert, and the grays invaded the town held by the red band, Rupert was able to kill Pueranus but then was also killed again by Alfgarda this time who had to retreat from Zaakit. Zaakit went up against the red band again and was actually outmatched and had to retreat. But then he was quickly killed by the red knight anya. Faldron along with gray marbles went up against a reaper and got the reward to actually be declared as a new king now. He and his marbles fought against red marbles as a king. (eventually bandit king but different) And then he and his kingsguards went against duo cyans and other cyan marbles but unfortunately for them they’re outmatched and were killed by them, Faldron was somehow killed by the splash of Paragoonnova VIII’s sword. Best characters of this episode - Alfgarda, Syuvi IV, Phemiec, Adelid, King Paragoonnova VIII, Andy X, Helfenbein, Zaakit, & Rupert. Honorable Mentions of this episode - Roino, Angela, Ligma, Nauzeous, & Faldron.

I feel like people are overlooking how helpful helfenbein's regen was when the twins' army attacked helfenbein I was like "who will win: plot armor or literal plot armor?"
Imma always be a cyan fan. Andy and Paragoonva wiping out a whole horde by themselves was hella epic and they were a crazy duo. Honestly, Paragoonova becoming king actually hindered him as he went out less decreasing him and Andy’s growth.
Spoilers It took eons, but Red eventually made it: get an actual win, with noticeable warriors. As a red fan, I can finally rest peacefully. Also that glitch at 1:15:40 is really something interesting to explore. Even if it's wasn't intended, this would make MK lore go to a next step of deepness. Overall, after MK27 which i'd say it was okay, it's cool to see this level of quality back again! Thanks for all of that LM, and take care. You clearly desserved your break. See u in a couple of months for the next MK.
Uff so true, until this all our Wins were so unsatifaying, even more comparing them with our epic second places. Still, that was until this, this time we really win in the right way against real enemies, archiving real story lines and having great heroes on our lines.
I have an idea: The losing marbles surrenders by working for the winning marbles For example: an neutral marble gets hurt and wants to leave but it cannot due to the enemy marble surrounding, tries for several attempts and fails so the marble begs for mercy and thus fights for them. The only exception is if the winning marbles are less or/and weakened. And the losing marbles has a named marble/s or has a higher level. [This might become op, so make it has a chance to beg for mercy, or fight and die for it's nation's glory]
I kove how well played my team (the red kingdom) did for the first 40 minutes. They immediately killed 2 bandit to upgrade their army and took advantage of the fact yellow had little soliders to capture their castle and then late swiftly eliminating them. They then consolidated their gains before going for Aqua while they again were weak. They did do a bunch of mistakes after but these first 40 minutes were so perfect
Rupert and Zaakit are brothers. Zaakit went into a frenzy upon hearing his brother was slain, so he called upon his son to fight with him. Sadly, Nauzeous died in battle… Zaakit fought a reaper in rage! Upon the reapers defeat, a hand appeared from the ground, and it was his dear brother. They planned to obliterate all who opposed them. They grew stronger, gained an ARMY. Rupeet fell once more in battle, as Zaakit flew into a frenzy once more, but the cowardly kingslayer ran. Zaakit fought and fought… But it wasn’t enough. He found the red once more… but he had to run, he was moments from death… untill death caught up to him. He laid against the ground… And sighed. He had been king. He had killed kings. But alas… he is slain. He knew he’d see his son and brother in Valhalla… for he died as a champion.

Can we all appreciate the Red soldiers? They had no notable high level units for more than half of the episode, yet they were fucking everybody up, i love that.
Paragoonnova VIII and Andy X are "besties". Para VIII beytrayed his family maybe cuz his family treated him badly. A monk said: "Wanna go cyan?" "Sure! My family treated me so bad..." He said. And he followed Cyanism. He met Andy X, Andy X said: "Uh... hi? Shall... um... shall we fight together???" "Of course!" said Paragoonnova VIII. And Cap Andy X trained Cap Para VIII when he was young. After so many battles, finally Paragoonnova VIII was held King! They changed their house, prepared for their battles. But then, there comes a ragnarok. It destroyed their house. They were finding a new house to live in. Suddenly, the red army declares war on Cyan. They fought as hard as they can, but failed. Andy X and Paragoonnova VIII was slain by Alfgarda the kingslayer, a hero who slain a king. Cyanism fell, but friendship and mastership is still there. They both want there descendants to learn that lesson and develop the kingdom and achieve victory. The end
Fantastic episode I was rooting for pink, alas the hero I had my hopes on fell The endgame red kingslayer squad was quite a sight to behold, rip Paragonnova, kingship kills growth momentum but having a strong king is a huge boon so…hard to balance the decision I wonder if there’s a way to incorporate your marble gladiator mechanics into this so marbles leveling up can have branching development paths, it might cut the viewing momentum too much to do it every level but perhaps at certain key levels (like every 3 or so) having branching level up paths might be interesting
Spoliers: Ok,the story of Zaakit and Rupert is definitely one to remember.Zaakit,the bandit captain,was struck with feelings of vengeance and grievance after Rupert died.Even though he too died later,I think he achieved his ultimate goal.Also,the second thief hero,the second bandit king and the first ever farmer hero have taken their course on history.Honestly,I already disliked red after their massacres in MK26,now they again won slaying all the heros with the help of their god blessed armor.Helfenbein was definitely my favourite hero while he lived.I wonder what would happen after marble kingdoms 30...
Hey hey hey, no one said anything when those two yellow kings go out and start killing bandits in order to become literal demigods. If the gods give us the bless of the plot, we won't said no to it. And tbf, this win was really dificult, red was really close to the abyss in multiple occasions, I really belive it was over when our beloved king angela die in glorious duel against Zaakit.

Some random feedback from a random viewer (essay warning ): I like this series, but there are some really frustrating mechanics that I feel are broken or even unnecessary. My biggest complaint is about the retreating/fleeing system. Due to the chance to leave the battle being entirely random, it always feels like one of the sides has been unfairly cheated out of a reward or victory. For example, a level 0 bandit with 1hp could randomly flee from battle after the rest of his team gets killed, giving his death reward to some random team instead of the color that actually fought the bandits. Also, the conditions for being willing to retreat (white flag) are also questionable. When a marble's health gets low enough, they get a white flag. But if that marble restores its health (level up, regeneration, etc.), they keep their white flag. This leads to idiotic scenarios where a team that is obviously going to win decides to flee from battle, giving the victory to the other team. When a marble flees from battle, I don't feel relieved that my favorite character survived or angry that his opps made it out alive. I just feel scammed as a viewer. Maybe make bandits and reapers unable to flee, and remove the white flag when a marble heals itself over the threshold? My other complaints are a lot smaller, but still notable: -Ragnarok is a bad reward for defeating an enemy king because it spawns right next to the newly captured castle, often destroying it. Instead, it should spawn next to an enemy castle. -"Plot armor" is WAY too overpowered. Heroes are basically the only units that matter in battles, and you can double their health FOREVER if you just kill some bandits? -Level 0 units shouldn't award as much XP as they do. They heal the enemy faster than they damage the enemy. -Bandit armies should be able to group up! We need a neutral victory!
If bandit armies are able to group up but then straight up defeated, it should give out more than one reward or maybe at least give out the one best reward
I always keep saying that you make amazing work with the MK videos, yet somehow you ALWAYS find a way to make them better. I have an idea for the next one. That Reaper unit? The one that gives you options based on life and death? What if you made him like a final boss the surviving kingdom has to face? An end game challenge essentially. He would be max level, would do serious damage (no where near instakill though) and also would use some dark magic attacks, like shadowbolts or teleportation. Why would they do that? So the heroes that do win against him to "ascend" and become summonable on later MK videos. Pretty cool right?
So I have this Idea:what if you add a Dragon or something that can only be challenged if a Army got a Hero and is hard to kill,and if Killed that Hero gets a Legendary weapon for its class that gives them a OP perk unique to the class.

I feel like armies and towns need like a 3-4 second cooldown before they can be re-engaged, so often at the start we saw armies take a town only for another army to also attack the town at the same time practically, but because of the current mechanics they only had to face half of the previous army due to garisoning, Also because it wasn't fair on poor Bandit King Rupert to be forced into 3 1vx engagements in a row, the third being against an army that *just retreated from him*.
I had plans to do something today, but I kinda forgot what it was after seeing the MK28 notification, ah well who cares about a planned productive evening, time to enjoy!

Spoiler I’m shipping Paragoonova and Andyx, you can’t take that from me. An upstart kingslayer and his dashing captain who built a kingdom against the world. When Andyx fell, Paragoonova knew. He knew there was no other way. He’d win or join his love in repose. Honestly when the Bandit Kings Zackit and Rupert fell, Paragoonova must have known. They had one last hurrah before going against the Kingslayer Squad and treated their men like kings. Then one last battle. What a way to go out. Good night sweet King and his Captain. (Why in the ever loving fck did I just write fanfic about MARBLES?!)

What an exciting match. Lots of twists and turns and comebacks. The new Betrayal mechanic is excellent, and the new 'traitor' titles add lots of flavor to the story.
SPOILERS:
I followed Red this match, and got to behold quite the rewarding storyline for it. So many times where I went 'this is it, Red's empire is over, they can't come back from this, they don't have a single hero worth a damn' and yet somehow they just kept holding on. Their opening play of immediately assassinating Yellow was hilarious too.
King Paragoonnova VIII's ascension in the Battle of 20:01, against the pink horde, was truly magnificent. The downfall of the Teal Slayer was his ascension to kinghood, ironically- he grew complacent, thinking that nobody could challenge his martial prowess. Which was true- up until it wasn't. By staying in the castle for the last third of the game, he failed to go out and cut down those who would approach him in power, like he'd been doing the rest of the game, and this gave Red the breather necessary to build up a hero team capable of taking him out.
I was astounded when the Pink champion fell. Guy was fuckin' invincible with his double shields, I was fully expecting him to eventually grow into a Lv7 and challenge Paragoonnova after the Ragnarocks destroyed all the towns.

Asking again that if a bandit clan wins more battles, the reward for defeating it should be bigger. Because at 39:30 the green ones defeated Rupert, a level 5 bandit captain who almost killed a king, and instead of getting a strong reward for a strong enemy they get five axe boys.

Belated thought: Reapers still seem a tiny bit underwhelming. What if they had a mechanic that interacted with fleeing units? Like maybe they have an aura that makes any unit that touches its main body immediately flee, or they deal double damage to fleeing units, or something of that sort. Or, maybe every time the Reaper is defeated, the next Reaper that spawns is one level stronger, so that by the end of the game the reaper is an incredibly powerful boss unit to rival the other bosses?
@@L0608948 agreed, the reapers were lethal to large crowds of weak chaff, but basically any lvl 3/4+ would just shrug off the damage, bump into it and kill it.
Perhaps they could have a unique life-steal mechanic? Like they heal 20-50% of the damage they deal? Or make it so that the blade is longer/closer to the marble so that enemies are much more likely to be continually taking damage.
Depends if they're supposed to remain glass cannons or not

The Gray Giant, holding a dagger any man would deem a full-length sword in one arm, and in the other a tremendous axe still dripping with blood from its last victim, approached the castle menacingly, his gray eyes burning for yet another kingdom to fall to his wrath. One lone marble stood at the gateway, sword drawn. There was no one else to be seen. The Giant, seeing this, defiantly mocks the Red Kingdom in a loud, booming voice: "I will make you become the dust upon which I tread, and your bones I will turn to nothing but the salt upon which rocks are formed!" Unwavering, King Angela remained silent, prepared for whatever his destiny entailed. It was almost certain his kingdom was lost, as the Turquoise Kingdom was flourishing and his had faded to nothing but one last city. He would die with honor if he must. Some time ago, he had led a vicious attack on all other kingdoms and spread his men too thin. Almost all his most trusted generals, and even his father, had perished. Knowing this mistake, he would love nothing better than to fell this relentless beast who had also terrorized the marble civilizations. He takes a deep breath, eyes locked on Zaakit, who begins to charge with a fury unknown to the common marble. King Angela, planting his feet, remained resolute as the beast covered immense amounts of ground. Suddenly, the two clash with otherworldly intensity. Blow after blow is exchanged between the two of them, with Zaakit spinning furiously and striking Angela's shield multiple times. The Red Warlord notices a crack that has been created in his own shield by Zaakit's devastating strikes. He does his best to dodge instead of block, but it is no use against the shear length of the giant's arms. Once more, Zaakit spins his dagger and axe against Angela's shield. Angela raises it, realizing the distance has closed between them. He braces, his powerful figure ready to withstand the beast's blows. The first strike splits the shield in half entirely. Angela scrambles to raise his backup shield, but immediately faces the raw, unshielded fury of Zaakit before he can do so. With gash after gash, the Great Angela is struck over and over, and endures more than any common marble before finally dropping to his knees. He releases one final breath, and collapses, his strength spent.

Yet another spectacular chapter of Marble Kingdoms.
First of all, Paragoonnova VIII had quite the journey. Alfgarda can second that. Second, Rupert was a funny guy: born, died, revived, died again. Zaakit lived to see that happen.
Thirdly, Helfenbein was cool with his two ginormous shields, sad to see him die though.
Other stuff:
1) kinda funny how there's two neutrals that can fight each other.
2) Cortland in my opinion was the worst king ever, dying right after being elected.
3) Paragoonnova VIII and Andy X and Zaakit and Rupert were menaces as duos.
4) Cool visual changes for the kingdom thingies, we can now see the spawners they have because it now shows icons on them.
5) Cool to see new statistics at the end.
6) Unfortunate that a lot less people were summoned.
Overall: again have to say good episode. Looking forward to the next one. Maybe there'll be a lvl. 11 unit?
Maybe but its so much harder to reach this level if the warrior do so well completely if have more marble warriors he can reach the first level 11 ever i don't know what will be maybe in pretty far future in the series as a chance so small they can level up to this level as currently the strongest at once now is gunner sexton x and toby ll as both kings lvl 10! As seem.
I adore that when a monk converts the last enemy the battle transitions immediately, not giving the extra few seconds normally given. Also I beg for the patch notes to be restored to glory. I enjoy reading the little development notes, seeing exactly what has been tweaked or balanced. A shame Cyan didn’t win, but I will take second place anyway. Thanks for the video!

King Anglea, a campion of the king slaying duo and their captain. Was finally alone, as Zaakit walked into the castle challenging bro to the craziest 1v1, it was close as hell until King Anglea's shields shattered and Zaakit hit him with a combo finally takibg the life of the great king. Yet in his defeat, a rage bubbled and grew within the hearts of his campions who learned of their friend's death. They eventually found him, Alfgrada defeated and slaying Rupert infront of his eyes to pay him back for what he had done, they tracked him down again and mericless jumped tf out of him 💀. He ran away from the battle mortally wounded, dying from his wounds he came upon a Red band, and in his weakened state, a young warrior named Anya landed the final blow into this ruthless warrior's heart. Spelling the end for the neutral kingdom later down the line.

Anglea's Last stand.
A warrior, one who reeked of death, came in through the castle doors, his axe grinding against the ground creating a crude scratching noise that echoed through the empty castle. As the towering warrior peered through what looked to be an empty castle, he saw. A King upon his throne, adorned in armor, that glistened as the kight fell upon him.
" O' Warrior of death, he who come to claim my head, know this and this only. You will bleed."
The King stood from his throne and walked towards the Giant of man, slowly picking up his pace, as did the Giant. Not a word was spoken from the Giant, but as the King clashed with his enemy he knew all to well he would lose.
The flickers of light, and the sparks of iron upon iron, the King fought hard, his arcane shields covering every blunder in his stance and fault in his attacks. Yet with his powerful strikes, they cracked, they buckled under the weight of the axe. And with one final strike, they shattered before his eyes. A quick flash of arcane power came from the shields as the giant lounged at him, striking him all over his body with his blade, whilst simultaneously using his axe to rend the King apart. Anglea saw the final blow flying towards his face at an incredible speed and lamented his own doom, yet he knew. "They" would not stand for this, it comforted him in his last seconds. As the axe crashed against the King's body shattering apart of his throne, ending the king's life.
News of his death spread like wild fire among the warring states, the Captain Phemiec held the letter in his hands, his grip so tight he threatened to rend it apart. Another solider walked up to the Captain, he spoke to him and could sense the rage sealed away beneath his fascade. "My lord, I have informed the others of this tragedy.
"I see, say who or what did this?"
"A great warrior from the neutrals, my lord."
"I see."
I have to say this though but this might be the best marble kingdoms episode I ever seen.
Colors of characters that are best in this episode
Red - Alfgarda, Syuvi IV, Phemiec, Adelid, Roino, & Angela
Honorable Mentions - Pueranus, Righetti, Muffinskill XIV, & Anya
Unbelievable, That one powerful red army is very similar to the Cyan band from MK24. (Even they actually summoned Adelid the green Captain, Just like how cyans did when they summoned Andy III the blue captain.)
I’m actually shocked to see one of my favorite colors actually started becoming the color tactician after MK26 and this.
The twins Alfgarda and Syuvi IV both fought skillfully, and they were on a separating moments until they meet again but powerful.
However Alfgarda is actually successor of Mecona from MK19
We should give respect for Phemiec the red captain, He was with the twins and fought together. There weren’t any of red captains spawning by because the main one is actually still alive. (referring to Phemiec)
Adelid had a tragic story during Pretox era, Back then she was green and also more importantly she was with JYAR III who’s also green captain too.
When Adelid was with JYAR III they were attacked by Andy III and the blues (Andy III who was formerly blue) and when JYAR III was killed by Nra the blue knight, she had to carry on his work for a while, And then she and her greens were attacked by the yellows and was killed by Lord Krauss the yellow hammerman.
And then by this episode she was summoned by the reds.
Roino who is actually the successor of Spectrazon the red monk from MK17, He holds a book and a shield (Instead of two books somehow but reasonable)
Angela the Prince/King should have been a female like Princess/Queen but unless if his last name is Angela then it’s reasonable.
He was also with the twins, & the main red captain, and he was declared a king after the main one Johnyxiv was killed by that gray kingsguard Nauzeous but was quickly killed by red kingsguard.
After reds like Angela took beige castle, he remained there until Zaakit the bandit captain out of nowhere demolished him.
Pueranus may not perform the best but he at least does keep his distance to make a clean shot as he was with the powerful reds until Rupert ended him.
Righetti was one of the random red knights until he slain Cortland the blue king and relaxed at the town, until Probar II and Herenfrida (the summoned hero) invaded and only able to kill Probar II who summoned Herenfrida, but Righetti and reds retreated from her who is stronger than each of them.
Righetti and reds went into the cyan duos along with their marbles, they fought but Righetti immediately realized they’re both too strong so he and other reds retreated and took a break from all of the fighting.
Muffinskill XIV is also like Pueranus who also keep his distances as he was also with the powerful reds but he was killed by the crowds of blues.
Anya basically just restructured herself just to become red but same unit from MK8.
Not to mention she killed Zaakit the bandit captain who caused quite rampage.
She was with the red band which was created by Alfgarda, Phemiec, & Adelid whose got their ideas.
Farther on, The final battle begins with The red band vs The cyan duo captains with other cyan marbles. (one of them being the king)
Unfortunately for some reds like Anya, she was killed by one cyan archer Aff who was quickly killed, and then the reds got their fourth win now and it seems they are doing better so far.
*Skipping two of the colors like Orange and Yellow because they were the first of twos eliminated quickly*
It honestly saves my time when I skipped one of the things that are not so important.
Beige - Goettinger
One of the first Beige heroes as Beige is new to marble kingdoms, He didn’t do much until he got the grow bigger option to have and attempted to defend a town while reaching level 2 and then reached 3 when in castle to defend the beige king named Toby III, but he was killed afterwards.
Green - Ligma
Ligma the green Captain literally has plot armor surviving the highly leveled marbles that were against him, He is Level 2 remained until by almost a hour later, he was killed by Pueranus.
Cyan - Paragoonnova VIII & Andy X
Honorable Mention - William I & Warriornest
These two captains literally caused rampage, especially when they ACTUALLY LEVEL UP LIKE MULTIPLE TIMES WHEN PINKS SURROUNDED THEM GIVING THEM ADVANTAGE
Anyways Paragoonnova VIII was formerly a purple captain until Jacky then cyan Prince and Andy X the cyan captain came up to him and Paragoonnova VIII immediately surrendered to become the cyan.
Afterwards they fought and leveling up at the same moments, just by over a hour later, Paragoonnova VIII was declared a new cyan king.
After Paragoonnova VIII was declared a king, He, Andy X, and other cyans attacked the former beige castle which was taken by the grays, and remained there.
As when they both had enough, The cyan duos and the cyan marbles goes to combat now after what they see what the reds does when they’re dominating the war.
But on their final battle, they both realized they could have fight often because now the red band are just much powerful than the cyan duo themselves, which causes them to be killed by them.
William I had his survivability going well with the two strongest cyans, until he was ordered to go out to combat afterwards.
Meanwhile William I and cyans invades former red castle (which was taken back) taken by blues but despite outmatching the blues, the blues went into a little super mode to take down William I and cyans, some have retreated to King Paragoonnova VIII.
Warriornest went up with the growing bigger options to have more durability.
But somehow this one got me surprised to see A HORDES OF GRAYS INVOLVING ZAAKIT & RUPERT SURROUNDING WARRIORNEST AND OTHER CYAN MARBLES
But then he retreated and ended up being caught by other grays who are bandits and was killed by that bandit captain.
Blue - Apeline, Zeenow, Sanae II, and Ilyannias
Honorable Mentions - Probar II & Herenfrida
Queen Iridumsky VII and blues after her castle was destroyed by ragnarock, They invaded former yellow castle which was taken by that pink knight, but with the power of Helfenbein’s two shields, They stood no chance against him.
However things gotten better when Apeline was crowned as a king and few blue archers that makes their clean shot.
But King Apeline and blues went against the red band and Apeline was killed by Alfgarda.
Zeenow, Sanae II, Ilyannias, & Other blues retreated but were quickly killed by the red hordes.
Probar II went against Two dark gray lumberjacks and was able to get the reward and he chose the summon a hero from past war and he got HERENFRIDA
They both invaded a town but Probar II was killed leaving Herenfrida alive and remained at town.
And then she and other blue marbles goes to fight now but Prince Marat and reds caught to them and were killed by them.
*Skipped purple as well no purple heroes that does the best other than Paragoonnova VIII who was formerly purple but just to be cyan*
Pink - Helfenbein
Okay I actually like this guy for having two of the shields as a knight, Even crazy is that blue Queen Iridumsky VII and other blues invaded him but failed because Helfenbein is really skillful with his shields, which made some of blues retreated.
Sadly his main shield was break by the blue hammerman.
He remained at the castle until he felt like going to the combat, but then he went against the red band just to now be demolished by Syuvi IV.
Gray - Zaakit & Rupert
Honorable Mentions - Nauzeous & Faldron
Okay I feel like I’m seeing bandit captains holding two weapons by every of episodes now I can tell.
Rupert went into his opponents, especially being surrounded by the greens 2 times.
The first time of him being surrounded by greens got lucky once, until his second time wasn’t because he was in a critical hp causing him to be killed by one green farmer.
Zaakit on the other hand performed like a monster, surviving so long.
He was with other gray marbles until they were all slain but somehow he found gray kingsguard named Nauzeous.
They both teamed up and fought together, They invade the red castle and just as expected, Nauzeous killed the red king Johnyxiv before one red kingsguard killed him and then was also killed by Zaakit.
Zaakit eventually got a little bored so he noticed the former beige castle held up by Angela the red king so he 1v1 him and wins it.
And then after he took one cyan kingsguard down while one retreated, he went against the reaper and won it, he got the reward and chose to revive a hero and he got RUPERT!
And somehow they both pair up together to take down any of colors.
Afterwards Zaakit, Rupert, and the grays invaded the town held by the red band, Rupert was able to kill Pueranus but then was also killed again by Alfgarda this time who had to retreat from Zaakit.
Zaakit went up against the red band again and was actually outmatched and had to retreat.
But then he was quickly killed by the red knight anya.
Faldron along with gray marbles went up against a reaper and got the reward to actually be declared as a new king now.
He and his marbles fought against red marbles as a king. (eventually bandit king but different)
And then he and his kingsguards went against duo cyans and other cyan marbles but unfortunately for them they’re outmatched and were killed by them, Faldron was somehow killed by the splash of Paragoonnova VIII’s sword.
Best characters of this episode - Alfgarda, Syuvi IV, Phemiec, Adelid, King Paragoonnova VIII, Andy X, Helfenbein, Zaakit, & Rupert.

I feel like people are overlooking how helpful helfenbein's regen was
when the twins' army attacked helfenbein I was like "who will win: plot armor or literal plot armor?"
Imma always be a cyan fan. Andy and Paragoonva wiping out a whole horde by themselves was hella epic and they were a crazy duo. Honestly, Paragoonova becoming king actually hindered him as he went out less decreasing him and Andy’s growth.

It took eons, but Red eventually made it: get an actual win, with noticeable warriors. As a red fan, I can finally rest peacefully.
Also that glitch at 1:15:40 is really something interesting to explore. Even if it's wasn't intended, this would make MK lore go to a next step of deepness.
Overall, after MK27 which i'd say it was okay, it's cool to see this level of quality back again! Thanks for all of that LM, and take care. You clearly desserved your break.

Uff so true, until this all our Wins were so unsatifaying, even more comparing them with our epic second places.
Still, that was until this, this time we really win in the right way against real enemies, archiving real story lines and having great heroes on our lines.

I have an idea:
The losing marbles surrenders by working for the winning marbles
For example: an neutral marble gets hurt and wants to leave but it cannot due to the enemy marble surrounding, tries for several attempts and fails so the marble begs for mercy and thus fights for them.
The only exception is if the winning marbles are less or/and weakened. And the losing marbles has a named marble/s or has a higher level.
[This might become op, so make it has a chance to beg for mercy, or fight and die for it's nation's glory]

I kove how well played my team (the red kingdom) did for the first 40 minutes. They immediately killed 2 bandit to upgrade their army and took advantage of the fact yellow had little soliders to capture their castle and then late swiftly eliminating them. They then consolidated their gains before going for Aqua while they again were weak. They did do a bunch of mistakes after but these first 40 minutes were so perfect
Rupert and Zaakit are brothers. Zaakit went into a frenzy upon hearing his brother was slain, so he called upon his son to fight with him. Sadly, Nauzeous died in battle… Zaakit fought a reaper in rage! Upon the reapers defeat, a hand appeared from the ground, and it was his dear brother. They planned to obliterate all who opposed them. They grew stronger, gained an ARMY. Rupeet fell once more in battle, as Zaakit flew into a frenzy once more, but the cowardly kingslayer ran. Zaakit fought and fought… But it wasn’t enough. He found the red once more… but he had to run, he was moments from death… untill death caught up to him. He laid against the ground… And sighed. He had been king. He had killed kings. But alas… he is slain. He knew he’d see his son and brother in Valhalla… for he died as a champion.

And Cap Andy X trained Cap Para VIII when he was young. After so many battles, finally Paragoonnova VIII was held King! They changed their house, prepared for their battles. But then, there comes a ragnarok. It destroyed their house. They were finding a new house to live in. Suddenly, the red army declares war on Cyan. They fought as hard as they can, but failed. Andy X and Paragoonnova VIII was slain by Alfgarda the kingslayer, a hero who slain a king. Cyanism fell, but friendship and mastership is still there. They both want there descendants to learn that lesson and develop the kingdom and achieve victory.

The endgame red kingslayer squad was quite a sight to behold, rip Paragonnova, kingship kills growth momentum but having a strong king is a huge boon so…hard to balance the decision
I wonder if there’s a way to incorporate your marble gladiator mechanics into this so marbles leveling up can have branching development paths, it might cut the viewing momentum too much to do it every level but perhaps at certain key levels (like every 3 or so) having branching level up paths might be interesting

Ok,the story of Zaakit and Rupert is definitely one to remember.Zaakit,the bandit captain,was struck with feelings of vengeance and grievance after Rupert died.Even though he too died later,I think he achieved his ultimate goal.Also,the second thief hero,the second bandit king and the first ever farmer hero have taken their course on history.Honestly,I already disliked red after their massacres in MK26,now they again won slaying all the heros with the help of their god blessed armor.Helfenbein was definitely my favourite hero while he lived.I wonder what would happen after marble kingdoms 30...
Hey hey hey, no one said anything when those two yellow kings go out and start killing bandits in order to become literal demigods. If the gods give us the bless of the plot, we won't said no to it.
And tbf, this win was really dificult, red was really close to the abyss in multiple occasions, I really belive it was over when our beloved king angela die in glorious duel against Zaakit.

Interesting new mechanic, letting entire towns defect to another faction.
Some random feedback from a random viewer (essay warning ):
I like this series, but there are some really frustrating mechanics that I feel are broken or even unnecessary.
My biggest complaint is about the retreating/fleeing system. Due to the chance to leave the battle being entirely random, it always feels like one of the sides has been unfairly cheated out of a reward or victory. For example, a level 0 bandit with 1hp could randomly flee from battle after the rest of his team gets killed, giving his death reward to some random team instead of the color that actually fought the bandits. Also, the conditions for being willing to retreat (white flag) are also questionable. When a marble's health gets low enough, they get a white flag. But if that marble restores its health (level up, regeneration, etc.), they keep their white flag. This leads to idiotic scenarios where a team that is obviously going to win decides to flee from battle, giving the victory to the other team. When a marble flees from battle, I don't feel relieved that my favorite character survived or angry that his opps made it out alive. I just feel scammed as a viewer.
Maybe make bandits and reapers unable to flee, and remove the white flag when a marble heals itself over the threshold?
My other complaints are a lot smaller, but still notable:
-Ragnarok is a bad reward for defeating an enemy king because it spawns right next to the newly captured castle, often destroying it. Instead, it should spawn next to an enemy castle.
-"Plot armor" is WAY too overpowered. Heroes are basically the only units that matter in battles, and you can double their health FOREVER if you just kill some bandits?
-Level 0 units shouldn't award as much XP as they do. They heal the enemy faster than they damage the enemy.
-Bandit armies should be able to group up! We need a neutral victory!

If bandit armies are able to group up but then straight up defeated, it should give out more than one reward or maybe at least give out the one best reward
I always keep saying that you make amazing work with the MK videos, yet somehow you ALWAYS find a way to make them better.
I have an idea for the next one. That Reaper unit? The one that gives you options based on life and death? What if you made him like a final boss the surviving kingdom has to face? An end game challenge essentially.
He would be max level, would do serious damage (no where near instakill though) and also would use some dark magic attacks, like shadowbolts or teleportation.
Why would they do that? So the heroes that do win against him to "ascend" and become summonable on later MK videos.
Pretty cool right?

I feel like armies and towns need like a 3-4 second cooldown before they can be re-engaged, so often at the start we saw armies take a town only for another army to also attack the town at the same time practically, but because of the current mechanics they only had to face half of the previous army due to garisoning,
Also because it wasn't fair on poor Bandit King Rupert to be forced into 3 1vx engagements in a row, the third being against an army that *just retreated from him*.
