I’m definitely a Jack of all trades. Master of none with adhd. I want to do everything but I’m burnt out from planning and then don’t end up ever finishing anything. Very frustrating! I will stick to two things but I’m not interested in creating a course etc. I wanted more artistic products to sell digitally like wall art.
I’m with you! I too have adhd and it’s sooo hard to focus on just one thing because my brain is running 1,000,000 mph 😂🤣but seriously I’m with you and an ebook at this point is too hard and a course…forget about it. But what I will do is focus on a digital product that is right for me. Have you thought about creating a journal?
I can relate! As someone with adhd and manyyyy interests/passions, I get burnt out and don’t end up getting started. The best advice I got is to “half-ass” it. I’m someone that struggles with perfectionism but after I committed to just finishing a project no matter the quality and giving myself permission to “slack” a little bit, I’ve found I can get so much more done and the end result is actually much better than I anticipated.
Nice video but a bit more details about the actual stuff would be appreciated. Things like: - What marketing process do you use for generating sales/leads that yield the best result? - What automation systems were put in place to achieve sales on autopilot? - Was the sales made on Etsy, a blog, a general marketplace or a combination of any? I believe that making $8M in sales is a great milestone that requires way more deeper insight than the points mentioned. Congrats on your success Molly.
Thanks! And yeah I’d never be able to cover everything that went into making $8M in just one video but tried to cover the best I could. It’s been awhile since I made this video but I thought I did cover how I grew a following, moved to email subscribers and sold that way. That said if you keep watching more of my videos you’ll get more and more info for sure ❤️ thanks for watching and for the feedback!

Thanks Molly, I’m so stoked I found you, I’ve been recently diagnosed with a very aggressive breast cancer and soon I will be getting a double mastectomy and will be out of action for 6 weeks just in recovery, so I’m really passionate to earn money online through digital products because firstly I’m super passionate and secondly this is something I can do around treatment

Wow Renee! First of all I hope your recovery went well and I just want to say your comment inspired me to take action. I hope you achieve all your goals.
AAAH I needed to hear this Molly! Focus on one or two products makes so much sense, yet I feel so many people tell you to make many different products to diversify your income. But it's so much better for the quality of your products and the happiness of your customers to use your strategy. Thanks so much for sharing 💖
Oooo I'll have to make a follow-up video on how diversifying your income is different and shouldn't be done by creating a bunch of products. Here are some examples of how I diversify my income: 1. Social Media Following / Adsense (reels bonuses stopped but TikTok and UA-cam still pay) 2. 1-2 digital products if you're under 1M per year (I have a membership and a course) 3. Affiliate income (I refer things I use via affiliate links and make recurring revenue that way as well) 4. Investments / Stock Market 5. Real Estate Of course, anyone reading this doesn't have to diversify how I have but using the money you make from your business to then diversify your income is key IMO.
When anyone make videos about how to make $$$$ it should only focus on how to make sales on social media and guidelines. These videos are more how to create but not how to make $$$$$

Lots of folks on here... not sure they are telling the truth about how much they make but your presentation is great and you have a great vibe. Thanks!
Thank you. It seems like good advice that would go a long way towards preventing overwhelm and shiny object syndrome. I've been trying to make an income online for a few years with no success and this might help me to focus better on those 1 or 2 products.

@MollyKeyser I have a guide that I want to launch/sell. If I update it, do I email those who already purchased letting them know about the update, and how often should I update?
You can yeah, that’s what I did when I’d update an ebook. There isn’t really a set schedule but rather just your judgement call if you think it needs to be updated.
I just love your'e personality. All the "fluff" is creating such confusion for people starting out in the online world. We need more people like you to teach and showing us how to do it ( using a platform) I have done so many trainings, memberships, subscriptions, trying out plaforms, spend thousands of dollars, etc. Also, I love how you bridge form one video to another... already learning there but not sure how to do what jou just did in your youtube video. That’s a wonderful advices and one of the best I’ve heard for a year ! In January 23 I’ve stopped my business of online courses because after 2 years I was burnt out of making new online classes every 2 months and I’ve seen my following was burnt out too ! Now I wrote a book, it can be my first product, and I want to write another ebook. That can be my second focus !! That’s awesome. I have a question : do you increase the price of your online class that you improve ? Or not ? Thank you !
So glad you enjoyed the video :) based on what you wrote about burn out etc my advice to you would be to not create new stuff all the time. Why were you creating new classes every 2 months? The joy of digital products is you can create it once and then put your efforts into selling it over and over again. I update my products about once a year and I’m usually not redoing the entire product but just making updates. I do increase my prices from time to time. Usually as more of a selling/business strategy paired with improvements. (Usually about once per year)
@@MollyKeyser Well I made new class every 2 month to keep my income at a same level. But I've seen a decrease in my income and my selling. I've sold my first class to 130 people, and the last I did > only 25 !!! I'm pretty bad at marketing and selling. It was my side business. Now I try to rebuild something but keeping in mind the lesson of this "failure"
This strategy makes sense with a course, and with a membership for sure. But what about with a guided journal and workbook? Also, my printable products would be too long to be one or two. I’d like to have workbooks, guided journals and ebooks on ONE niche. Can you comment on this? Or make a video?
I’ve made lots of videos on this and I focused on one ebook and made over $500k with it. I love ebooks and highly recommend them. Check out more of my videos if you have time, thanks for watching! ❤️

The 6+ mins felt like 90 secs! Everything about it was excellent! You spoke just fast enough to keep my attention but not so fast that it became annoying and caused me to miss vital information. The way you spliced in brief descriptive video clips along with your talking to keep moving the narrative along in an exciting fashion, your use of Captions, your facial expressions, tone of voice, even the subtlety of your makeup, you have on just enough to highlight the natural attractiveness of your face without trying to look like a supermodel, everything about this video just screams EXCELLENCE!!! It is because of the excellence of THIS video I believe you can teach me to succeed in this area. So, thank you, and here we go!
Thanks for these tips! I'm curious though if you're just starting and you're trying to figure out what products will even sell well, wouldn't it be ok to have more than one product to test the waters on what your audience prefers? What's your take on that?
You could but I find it to be more time and cost effective to grow your email list to 100-200 and survey them and then you’ll know what product to create. But if it didn’t work out you could of course try something else ❤️
I can’t seem to get more than 10 people on my email list and it’s been a month and a half testing out different freebies. Only through Instagram though… getting to 100-200 seems like it will take forever!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :) yes free content through UA-cam and offering freebies to grow my email list at the same time. I have lots of other videos on UA-cam follower growth and email list growth on this channel as well, enjoy!
Excellent video! Creating an online community and offering digital products/services is the best way to make money online in 2024! Keep up the great work :)
hey i really enjoyed this video. I checked you out saw you have a 2 comma club award. i have done everything with russle and stevens stuff and for some reason for like 4 years I just cant figure it out. and I think this video really just hit home for me. I hired a company to run ads for me for a ebook and it was profiting each day - but it's the systems I struggle with. I don't know how to keep things so simple because you're right - there is so much noise. I subscribed, but if you ever needed content ideas I would love to connect because I'm not as successful as you are in the sense of you have this figured out - but I have a lot of smarts that could probably help level up your content game just based on my questions hahaha - that would be a cool content idea or series. I don't typically leave comments on things like this but I loved this video - it was genuine - keep it up!
@@MollyKeyser yea that’s what I have been doing. It’s growing nicely - I have my editor and partner doing it all looking at data etc. just building and growing
You are so right! We are all confused about all these stuff and we would like to try everything at once. Personally, I have been watching all the content and I tried once to start an Etsy store and it was a complete failure, and then I stopped trying. I guess I need to learn before starting something else. Thank you for sharing all this with us. I am going to watch more of your videos to learn more about you, your business and how make it work 😊
Whoa so many negative nancies in the comments! If you didn’t see what’s going on around you folks, the world is going digital. If you want to go to school and learn sales and marketing, go ahead, but there are some people out there that teacher for free…❤
I'm glad you are saying this! It's about quality over quantity. I have an eBook now and was thinking about adding a course. I have digital prints too, but they're not at all related to my book for music artists. I might get rid of those once I finish building and selling the course.
Looovve this video thank you for sharing and what website do you suggest to host our products that doesn't demande new listings to increase visibility ?? I know that etsy's algorithm works that way so would you please share which websites don't? 😊😊

I don't even know how I found you, but I love your content! I am curious about one thing...did you learn YT strategies by trial and error, or did you have a teacher/buy a course? Just curious who or what you might recommend for that because it's all about marketing after those creations, right?! Again, thanks for the amazing stuff you provide us!! 😁
I took multiple UA-cam courses, read books on it, I have 16 years social media experience and I also study UA-cam everyday for at least 1 hr. and of course also learned through trial and error as well. I also have a membership where I teach growing on UA-cam and creating and selling digital products. Download any of my freebies from the description of this video and eventually you’ll get an email when we reopen the doors to it. Thanks for watching!
@@MollyKeyser Wow, 16 years! I wondered if you offered a course or training for YT! It just seemed like the next logical thing I would find. Yay! (Thanks for letting me know about that!!!) @@MollyKeyser Oh, so kind of you! I "work" on my mindset every day! I am glad I discovered you, too! I pay 2 other teachers who teach about digital products/product creation, but they rarely talk about their stories! I love hearing your stories, too! Thanks again! ☺
Hi, I've been wanting to sell digital products but also want to blog, what's the best platform where I can do both aesthetically? And affordably to start? Thanks
I teach how to sell digital information products - you likely could apply my techniques to help sell an actual “book” but I don’t have experience with that so it’s not what I teach.
Hi Molly - The video you made here can you give some details how you made it? Did you just record a horizontal video on a Specific camera. Then just edit in all the graphics and splice in the Changes etc? I use CANVA and Imovie on the MACBOOK, just have an iPhone 10 to make the videos for my stuff. However, just took delivery of an OSMO action yesterday and the DJI Mic kit. So some upgrades I can incorportae now. I am trying to make a how-to video that is engaging for a digital product release. Have the advert video squared away - but wouldn't mind following your style of video here for the actual tutorial video describing to customers how to make and assemble my product.
@MollyKeyser Can you suggest a price range for a 60-page Guide? You mentioned under $100 in another video, so I was wondering if you've had good luck with a certain amount...$99? $69? $59? Thanks! 😊
You need to be the brand of the company you create. I would say you cant really focus on more then one thing at the time if you want to be as effective as possible. Also don't be the worker be the organization expert that puts a team together and throw them sales to work with.
@@MollyKeyser Graphics look very nice. Maybe just a little less zooms but that may just be in my head. I do want to say that you did a stellar job tho, I'm sure I wouldn't have gotten anything remotely as good if I had to, so for real, keep it up!
Is kajabi any good ? How do I host an email list , a course and a community without setting accounts up in different platforms ??? Thank you for your video , I love your work room , is it a ladies shed ? ❤
I switched away from Kajabi several years ago. I use and recommend Systeme now (there’s a link for a free account in the description below this video). I use systeme for everything email marketing, selling, hosting courses, etc. for community stuff I use Skool (link below for a free trial). Thanks for watching!
Hi. Can I ask, do I need to set up the "market" on shopify where I sell my products? Or I just run the ads for the specific country and it will run smoothly?
I’ve never used Shopify and I don’t run ads anymore. I don’t recommend either of those strategies. I recommend growing your own following and then building and email list so you have your own platform to sell to. Watch more of my videos to learn more :)
My problem is Automated or Autopilot system I can create anything as an artist and Writer with SEO specialists but creating the parts of the funnel is a breeze but put it together and autopilot system that works is my real challenge I'm familiar with auto responders and lead capture pages but settings it up properly and profitable with a decent conversion is my pain struggles 😢😮😢😮
I’ve been growing my email lists solely with freebies since 2014. Always have and probably always will :) they are absolutely critical. It’s how I’m getting around 2k email leads a month to my email list. Most my freebies convert around 50%.
Thank you Molly!!, I love photography too, I have also been very confused about what business structure to select to develop other ideas. ...I like your classes, I will definitely follow you. I will do my best..
Hi Molly ! Omg we absolutely love your energy :) Would you be open to chat about some paid training for our Platform. We would love to have a chat with you . Thank you Molly
I love this video, but I wish you would take the thud, bell & cash register sounds out of the video. I was listening to this with ear buds and I literally had to take them out because those sounds were so incredibly loud! Great content though!
Awesome! Congrats on 8k subscribers! I have a freebie in the description of this video that's a free funnel that will help you move your followers to email subscribers.
Decide what your niche/topic will be. Create content around that niche/topic. Then you can ASK your followers what problems they're having. From there you can work on ways to solve those problems for them :)
I'm taken by this. I had the pleasure of reading something similar, and I was truly taken by it. "The Hidden Empire: Inside the Private Worlds of Elite CEOs" by Adam Skylight
That I'm not sure. I only teach people how to grow their own following and then help their followers on a deeper level by creating helpful digital info products (ebooks, courses, etc.)
The same way I recommend everyone sell digital products :) 1) grow a following on UA-cam 2) grow an email list at the same time to 200 email subs 3) survey them to learn what they need help with 4) create a digital product to help them 5) sell that digital product to them I teach this step by step in detail in my membership freedom creator club. You can get my free training and learn more about it in the first link in the description of this video ❤️

Awesome so glad to hear it! Welcome!
Hi Molly! Could one of your digital products be a workshop instead of a course? Love your content! Thanks for sharing!
Of course! In fact I recommend starting with a workshop :) it’s the easiest/fastest way to start!
hey Molly, where do we sell our products?
Thanks for your video
Here’s a video on how to sell and almost all my videos talk about how to sell as well: ua-cam.com/video/f0nClal6zpo/v-deo.htmlsi=hWgDk8aCWPQik0QT
Hi! Molly. GREAT presentation. I am curious how you started your following? Free Content on youtube?
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :) yes free content through UA-cam and offering freebies to grow my email list at the same time. I have lots of other videos on UA-cam follower growth and email list growth on this channel as well, enjoy!
Thank you for your videos. They are all very helpful. I'm just starting out but now I have a clearer plan on what I should do. 😊
Outstanding video. Thanks for breaking down the step-by-step process. You are so right FOCUS on the one thing is key.
You’re so welcome, thanks for watching!
I love your energy Molly. Thank you so much for the inspiration x
thanks so much! thanks for watching :)
Thank you Molly.
Also for the free tool kit to help me start off.
Stay bless...
You’re welcome, thanks for watching!
Excellent video! Creating an online community and offering digital products/services is the best way to make money online in 2024! Keep up the great work :)
What a breath of fresh air. Thankx for the clearly laid out information. :)😊
You’re so welcome, thanks for watching!
Hey Molly, Old Country here from Tennessee, It was great meeting you at VidSummit, looking forward to learning from a pro.
hey i really enjoyed this video.
Hey thanks so much for watching and commenting! Have you started building an organic following on social media yet?
@@MollyKeyser yea that’s what I have been doing. It’s growing nicely - I have my editor and partner doing it all looking at data etc. just building and growing
@@dursonj awesome :)
Systems are killing me!!! I just CANNOT figure out how to set up that system! 😩
Thanks for providing a somewhat new perspective. Glad I found ya.
Yay, glad you’re here ❤️
You are so right! We are all confused about all these stuff and we would like to try everything at once. Personally, I have been watching all the content and I tried once to start an Etsy store and it was a complete failure, and then I stopped trying. I guess I need to learn before starting something else. Thank you for sharing all this with us. I am going to watch more of your videos to learn more about you, your business and how make it work 😊
Yes, you got this! Thanks for watching ❤️
Whoa so many negative nancies in the comments! If you didn’t see what’s going on around you folks, the world is going digital. If you want to go to school and learn sales and marketing, go ahead, but there are some people out there that teacher for free…❤
Im Going To Try It MOLLY !!!
I'm glad you are saying this! It's about quality over quantity. I have an eBook now and was thinking about adding a course. I have digital prints too, but they're not at all related to my book for music artists. I might get rid of those once I finish building and selling the course.
Great advice. I’m about to release my ebook and membership
Awesome!! Keep me posted on how it goes!
I am in the middle of what's wrong and feeling disillusioned. Thanks for your useful tip!
Looovve this video thank you for sharing and what website do you suggest to host our products that doesn't demande new listings to increase visibility ?? I know that etsy's algorithm works that way so would you please share which websites don't? 😊😊
You’re welcome, thanks for watching! I recommend selling via your own following and checkout pages. You can get more info by watching my free on-demand training (it’s the first link in the description below this video)
What if I’m not interested in doing courses but selling y art designs?
You can do whatever you want always ❤️ I’d also recommend going to the description and clicking on the like for “54 free digital product ideas” and I think that will spark some ideas for you on how to sell your art prints!
Where do you sell them?
Wow!! This was so good and very helpful! Hooked to your content from the first video I watched!!
Aw yay! So glad you found it helpful :)
Just found you from Katie’s podcast and your content is amazing! You’re so informative and helpful, thank you :-)
Hey welcome! So glad you found me through Katie's podcast :) Glad you enjoyed the content, thanks for watching!
I wanna do this too! You da bomb! 🔥🔥 Thanks for sharinng ma. 🎉❤
You’re so welcome! Thanks for watching ❤️
@@MollyKeyser My pleasure. 😊
Yay! (Thanks for letting me know about that!!!)
I will dig deeper into your channel, but I just signed up for your "51 ideas" PDF. I have a couple of products already, but I am taking your advice to not do too much at once. Looking forward to learning more from you, however that shakes out!! Thanks for the reply! :D
@@vibrantrebel Awesome! You have such a great mindset, so glad you discovered my channel :)
@@MollyKeyser Oh, so kind of you!
Thanks
Systeme does all of this. I have a link in my description where you can get an account for free.
@@MollyKeyser ok maybe I missed it. I’ll look into and check out your link. Thanks for the reply 👍
I LOVE your energy! Thank you!
Yay thanks so much!
This was good Molly. Thanks! Subscribed!
So glad to hear it, welcome! Thanks for watching ❤️
is 29USD too expensive for just an ebook?
Could you do a video showing how to edit your funnel steps for our own product? thanks!
I have step by step videos on how to do all of that in my membership called “Freedom Creator Club” If you’re wanting more help with that
How does this work for a self published fiction author (ebooks)?
I teach how to sell digital information products - you likely could apply my techniques to help sell an actual “book” but I don’t have experience with that so it’s not what I teach.
Thank you for your awesome videos, pleas keep going. Quick questions: What Software did you use to edit this video? Thanks :)
I use VidPros editing agency :) I don’t do the editing myself, I hire it out.
I film with a Sony A7II and then I send it off to an editor. Hope that helps!
Hello do you know why I opened an account but the problem is that I cannot access the forum
@MollyKeyser Can you suggest a price range for a 60-page Guide? You mentioned under $100 in another video, so I was wondering if you've had good luck with a certain amount...$99? $69? $59? Thanks! 😊
I always recommend to price based on the result they’ll be getting from your digital product ❤️
Molly creates and sells courses to help people create and sell courses.
Yup.
what kind of digital products did you sell and how many pages would you recommend a digital product be?
Oh man I’ve sold hundreds of different kinds haha but all centered around teaching photography and now centered around teaching digital products.
This is the top of the funnel
Is there a way for me to market the goods I sell. I have an ebook and a guide currently but Im still trying to figure out how to advertise ❤
Of course! The first link in the description of this video is a free training on how to do just that! ❤️
You need to be the brand of the company you create. I would say you cant really focus on more then one thing at the time if you want to be as effective as possible. Also don't be the worker be the organization expert that puts a team together and throw them sales to work with.
You explain things so clearly, thank you!
Thanks so much ❤️
Nice video. Only thing - I feel like the SXF was a bit too much. Keep up the great work!
The graphics throughout the video? Noted and thanks for the feedback :)
Do you think you can sell printed items AND digital products in the same store?
No idea, I’ve never sold physical products.
Molly I love your videos, what video editor do you use?
Thanks so much! I use VidPros :) let them know I sent ya! app.vidpros.io/r/G6KVQJ
Than you so much! I appreciate your time and information!@@MollyKeyser
Can I do that’s using only my cell phone
It’s possible but it would be easier with a computer for some things
What if you make them for separate niches?
Hi! I would like to personally speak with your about your training for digital PDF estore plz how do we set this up?
I love your vibe! Subscribed
Hey thanks so much!
Molly, Im curious, how critical are your lead magnets here on YT, and what sort of conversion rates do you see offering freebies?
I’ve been growing my email lists solely with freebies since 2014. Always have and probably always will :) they are absolutely critical. It’s how I’m getting around 2k email leads a month to my email list. Most my freebies convert around 50%.
@@MollyKeyser 50%???? I was seeing about 1%
Maybe you are talking about a different conversion? 50%+ who land on my freebie opt in pages opt into the freebies/email list. Yes
@@MollyKeyser Thanks Molly. Yes I was referring to conversion rates of those who optin for freebies then become paying customers.
Ah, that’s not a metric we measure. We do measure how many opt into our free training that buy our membership and it’s 5-7% depending on the week.
Thank you Molly!!, I love photography too, I have also been very confused about what business structure to select to develop other ideas. ...I like your classes, I will definitely follow you. I will do my best..
Thanks for watching!
Thanks you Molly. I have not doubts about your results. I'm just a little scared for me. Thanks, again @@MollyKeyser
Hi Molly ! Omg we absolutely love your energy :) Would you be open to chat about some paid training for our Platform. We would love to have a chat with you . Thank you Molly

@@MollyKeyser hi Molly I did you receive our email? 👍
MOLLY where should i sell ETSY is not for my country
Hi, makes sense, thanks. Focus on one or two, make it better.
I love this video, but I wish you would take the thud, bell & cash register sounds out of the video. I was listening to this with ear buds and I literally had to take them out because those sounds were so incredibly loud! Great content though!
Yeah that video is from 4 months ago and we’ve since taken them out thanks to awesome feedback like yours! Thanks for watching :)
What platforms are you promoting? What courses do you promote?
I only promote my own programs. You can check them out on my website FreedomCreator.co
Just discovered your channel! Loooove this video ❤❤❤
Awesome, welcome! Thank you so much ❤️
Very solid tips!!
Thanks friend!
So what’s the 1 strategy ?
Excellent video thank you for sharing your knowledge and all the best with your channel.
Thanks for watching!
So good, thanks
I would like to sell others courses easily where do I go to look around in my niche??????
I don’t teach affiliate marketing (selling other people’s stuff). I teach how to create and sell your own digital info products.
Why are there so many strange sound effects in your video?
But how and where do you sell it.
I have lots of videos on my channel that cover that :)
I have a YT channel but I don't know how to convert my followers to email subscribers
Awesome! Congrats on 8k subscribers! I have a freebie in the description of this video that's a free funnel that will help you move your followers to email subscribers.
Do I work only on one topic? or do I find people's problems and make products as solutions to them?Which of these two will I work with?
Decide what your niche/topic will be. Create content around that niche/topic. Then you can ASK your followers what problems they're having. From there you can work on ways to solve those problems for them :)
@@MollyKeyser im intrested in work all kinds of topic,,,,i think i can do it,what is your guidline about it?
Thankful to watched it, It helped me to decide properly 😊
This makes a lot of sense.
Awesome, glad it resonated with you, thanks for watching!
OMG I hear ya girl, I have created and done it ALL! I needed to hear this reminder. Thank you
You’re so welcome, thanks for watching!
I'm taken by this. I had the pleasure of reading something similar, and I was truly taken by it. "The Hidden Empire: Inside the Private Worlds of Elite CEOs" by Adam Skylight
If I don’t want to create a product where can I promote products from? 5:30
That I'm not sure. I only teach people how to grow their own following and then help their followers on a deeper level by creating helpful digital info products (ebooks, courses, etc.)
How do i sell as a holistic therapist
The same way I recommend everyone sell digital products :) 1) grow a following on UA-cam 2) grow an email list at the same time to 200 email subs 3) survey them to learn what they need help with 4) create a digital product to help them 5) sell that digital product to them
I teach this step by step in detail in my membership freedom creator club. You can get my free training and learn more about it in the first link in the description of this video ❤️
Really good strategy! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for watching :)
Love the strategy!
