Moments like this made the sci-fi show just so raw with human emotion. I’m glad the character of Rhys existed outside of the group, he really grounded the show.
I miss the intensity of the first couple of seasons. Even the third season. It’s different to other shows and I love it, it’s addictive in a good way, like television should be! We need more!
@@Matheus21video don’t you remember when Beth shot him, he didn’t have the same blood as the parasites. He was real, and so were the consequences of him getting shot
Loved this show so much. Loved Gwen and Rhys. Amazing the quality you get when your strong female lead isn't just a one dimensional character on a singular mission to denigrate men.
In "Meat" Jack wanted Gwen to retcon Rhys, but she refused. If she had retconned him, he wouldn't have dropped that hint here about Adam being an imposter.
Actually it is military and police personnel are trained on weapon safety, and last thing you want is to have negligent discharge and letting off round and it going through two people one being person u don't want to shoot
Please after Chibnall leaves, I know he wrote a lot on Torchwood, but something tells me that Moffat and Davies did most of the good work. Don't forget that he wrote the "Love gas" episode.
@@habitsrabbit oh dear.... 😕 Jack (John Barrowman) is fine. However he had a gross habit of getting his dick out on set 🤢 The thing is that he was told off, learnt this was not acceptable behaviour and all was well. All reports state that he behaved perfectly after that. However once it came to light a little while ago he was dropped. He is genuinely contrite and I feel a big loss as Big Finish audios aren't using him either 😔 I think Captain Jack was such a strong, saucy character that the lines got blurred between fiction and reality for John. He is the only stupidly misbehaving guy in the public media that I do feel sorry for as he'd learnt his lesson a long time ago. It's a difficult situation 😕
He's written as omnisexual/pansexual, so he doesn't have a particular "type" per se, it is just that the character comes across different men that he likes, but he doesn't have a default preference.
@dr103 if you look at all his relationships in torchwood there all with men none with women, not that there's anything wrong with that I just wish they had mixed it up a bit. What's the point of making him bi in the first place if he only going to screw men

Kudos to Jack for sticking up for Rhys despite their complicated relationship
Nobody:
the subtitles: you picked the wrong girl to stock meat
"He is, it's Rhys" lol

As good as series 3 is I miss the style of series 1 and 2 so much.
Can we all forget season 4 happened and how they thoute making a murderous child killer one of the leads one of the leads was a good idea
There is no 3 season there are two episode after season 2 but then it ended on a cliffhanger. Every rest of it is bad fanfic
Lmao "You have picked the wrong gul to stalk, m8!"

Jacks face kills me every time.
Yes.
He's like " what the..fuc-"
The acting in this is just so superb. Rhys looks genuinely upset and Gwen absolutely terrified 😮😊 I'm so glad Torchwood lives on with Big Finish ❤️
Eve Myles and Kai Owen have such good chemistry. Always bringing out the best in each other.
So the parasite is basically Mr Poopybutthole, but he also makes so you forget people in your life.
Rick and Morty copy Doctor Who all the time.
Mr. Poopybutthole wasn't a parasite btw. He's in literally every episode.
@@nightowl8477 Really?
Adams a dick- we all know it lol

This scene always makes me cry
This scene made me cry. 😭😭 This episode was just so intense.
That trigger discipline is heartbreaking.
Granted, but then you don't get to claim that you know how to use it.

Probably my favourite episode, amazing plot
After seeing Jack come back on Who I'm really hoping we, at some point, also get a return from Gwen, because Eve Myles plays her so well.

@@-haclong2366 With the current John Barrowman situation, I'm not sure if Torchwood coming back would be currently a good idea.

This is such a sad scene 💔💔
as serious as Torchwood takes itself i think the little Office-like crash zooms on their faces make scenes like this very funny
It's like the Office.
That's a properly Dwayne Dibbley frame to freeze on.
Captain Jack is the best.
What is with those zooms though
Brilliant! Just brilliant!
Rhys should have used this opportunity to get as far away from that tramp as possible.
That thumbnail 😂
That happens
This episode basically the original Rick and Morty episode with the memory parasites like Pencil Vestor and Sleepy Gary.
Scoot tambien esta en esta serie hummmm pero es mas bajo de estatura!!!!!
She has an english smile if ive ever seen one
MyName Jeff she’s welsh.
Yeah she's Welsh

Welsh.

Captain jack harkness is supposed to be bi yet he always seems to go for men
He always seemed to have a thing for gwen but that never became anything
He goes for everyone
He flirted with rose alot, flirted with Gwen, and he had a wife in one of the older Torchwood teams. He probably just has a preference for guys
