No they are two separate companies. They did come together as one I think when Shrek came out. But PDI/Dreamworks were a separate division from Dreamworks. Not all their animated movies were made with PDI----Shark Tale, Kung Fu Panda series, HTTYD series, Puss in Boots, etc.
