Just discovered you’re guys channel and I’m 32w pregnant! It was really cool and interesting to see the life of another pregnant lady who’s just as far as I am and to see what you’re going through at the same time as me! Remember every pregnancy is different. So blessed, you are getting your second child. So many women are right now struggling to even to have their first. I've shared with you before that my husband passed away from cancer at 43 yrs young when our son was 4 yrs old. We were planning for our second child when this health scare came to light. Give God your anxiety, fears, worry about your face, etc. He can handle it, and knows you should not be anxious and worrisome during this time especially in your pregnancy. Philippians 4:13- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.😊❤

I just had my baby girl 6 months ago and I have type 1 diabetes and they give you your insulin through intervenous and everything went extremely well! Don’t stress too much! Praying for a safe delivery for you!🥰

I had preeclampsia with both pregnancies. Wound up septic with a kidney stone at 17 weeks blocking my right kidney from doing its thing. I had so many procedures and was under anesthesia basically every month till I had my c section at 38 weeks. I knew it’s what I had to do to keep us both safe but deep down I was so worried. Obv not the same as what your going through but similar in terms of what’s best for you is what’s best for baby. All will be well, try not to beat yourself up. You may not be able to truly appreciate how incredibly strong you are till the dust settles and you look back❤❤❤
Just a bit of encouragement. God led me to move from the “what if’s” to the “even ifs.” Even if xyz….is God still sovereign, can I still trust Him? Yes-of course yes. He stands in your tomorrows and has a good plan for you and your babies. 😊

I’m a type one diabetic and had a little girl in January 2024. I was diagnosed with preeclampsia the day I went into labor. My epidural naturally lowered my blood pressure. My sugars were around 70-110 during labor/delivery. They had me take off my insulin pump and I went on a IV insulin drip. (One last thing to worry about when you’re focused on delivery). When my daughter was born she had low blood sugar so she was given sugar water 2x. When her sugar didn’t stabilize they took her to the NICU for IV glucose. It was scary but she was in good hands!
You’re already doing an amazing job just trying your best and being concerned about your babies health in general!

I’m 29 weeks with my first and I have white coat syndrome so bad! My blood pressure is fine at home, it’s only high when I’m at the doctors. They aren’t concerned about high bp yet cause there’s no protein in the urine, but still. I pray before every appointment, that everything is okay, but other than that I have had a very easy pregnancy! Praying for y’all!!

7 years ago I was in your situation EXACTLY, I had Farida and she went to NICU..and after the NICU she didn’t nurse well…and now she is perfect. Just do NOT do not worry..it will pass ❤

I had gestational diabetes 4 times. I believe I was on a low dose insulin pill 2 of those pregnancies. Each of my kids struggled with low blood sugar after birth. 2 had to go to nicu for monitoring. They did need to have heel sticks often and also some formula and some sugary stuff in a syringe ( i cant remember what its called) but they all got through it pretty quickly. It does suck but just pray. God has you and he's never failed you.
I also had to be induced with all of them around 36 weeks and 1 had shoulder dystocia which was the most frightening thing to happen but he was also perfectly fine with no injuries. I only mention all that because you said you'd wanted to be prepared of possibilities but to also encourage you that all that can happen and things can still turn out ok.
Gods hand is over each one of you. ♥️ Everything will go just fine. Keep believing and seeing your labor go so smoothly! I know it’s not always easy but rebuke any negative thought and replace it with His truth! 🙏🏼🥰

I am currently 34 weeks and was diagnosed with preeclampsia at 30 weeks strictly due to protein in my urine. I never had and lord willing don’t have high blood pressures. Being a pregnant diabetic can be nerve wracking at times.
Girl, I get it lol I’m almost 26 weeks and my hands and feet are puffy and I feel like the stay puft marshmallow man. 😂 you look beautiful ! ❤I’m self conscious a bit but trying to rock it with confidence. I think you look great so cute. 😊
On your hospital bag video, what was the light you packed for the hospital?
I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant with my son. He wouldn’t latch and we couldn’t keep him awake for long enough to eat more than a tiny bit of formula. They gave him some of the glucose gels but after 4 low sugars, he went to the nicu. He was there overnight and they got him eating great and his sugar totally normal. It just takes getting enough food in his body to offset the insulin he’s had from your body. It was so emotionally taxing to have him away from us, but I was induced and in labor for over 24 hours, then had to have a csection so by the time he was 20 hours old and we left the nicu, we both needed to sleep. My husband and I both got some solid rest and we were ready for him to come back first thing in the morning. Thankfully I got every sugar check results on my phone so I knew he was okay and doing good, and we were able to get the r&r we needed after a traumatic labor and delivery without having to be up every two hours or more feeding him. I don’t know how we would’ve gotten through otherwise bc you don’t sleep in the hospital and after not sleeping from being in labor for so long and the trauma of a csection, I was not in a good place. It was hard and I cried so much but looking back now, it was a blessing in disguise bc I was able to be such a better mom when he came back to us. I’m sure baby Brewer will be fine, but low blood sugar is typically a pretty short stay in the nicu from what i was told before he even went in.

Our pregnancies have been literally the same. Unfortunately, I did give birth at 34 weeks, which was 3 weeks ago, and he is still in the NICU. However, you’ve made it further than me and you go this mama!
Oh mama, I am sorry! My last and twin pregnancy, I had twin to twin transfusion syndrome and had fetal surgery at 18w. My water broke as a result of the surgery 3 days later and I was admitted. I kept them in until 26 weeks when my placenta literally was tearing off my body and they had to be delivered. They spent 96 days in the Nicu and it was so hard. How’s your baby boy doing? Are they keeping him in there til closer to 40 weeks? I know it’s heartbreaking to leave the hospital every day without your baby (or babies). Just know one day this will all be behind you and it will be hard to believe they were ever little Nicu babies. You’re an amazing and strong mama. Sending you lots of hugs and prayers.

Girl I was 98 lbs when I got pregnant and gained nearly 100 lbs and delivered at 194 lbs at 5’4… Trust me you’re fine!
You should freeze your overripe bananas and then use them for your smoothies so you don't need ice and they come out creamy! 😊

Devin…that water and pregnancy weight will come off by the time He is 10 months old…and then just think where you will be by the time he is a year old. You are beautiful and your body wont hold onto the weight. Breastfeeding also helps mommas to drop it much quicker!

I was on a lot of insulin before my son was born also. The doctors told me I would not need insulin for the first 24 hours after he was born and they were correct! Absolutely no insulin for 24 hours.

@@Mimi2thebestboysever that’s hilarious be thankful I didn’t go into any detail, plus no influencer cares what the people have to say so I REALLY DOUBT they read any comment at all! But for anyone else who’s struggling at the end of pregnancy with water retention and spinning headaches with upper right quadrant pains, they will know exactly what I’m saying and will raise an alarm, why do people think it’s just to scare them, it’s not it’s a fact, it’s the same as saying the sky is blue, and if you press on your shins and the dimple doesn’t go away, you need medical intervention is all I was saying! It’s awareness, not fear mongering, if I wanted to scare anyone I’d simply tell them my birth story, but I don’t and I hold the fear and anxiety to myself! But if anyone would have told me eclampsia was a thing in pregnancy I could have looked out for those signs! If anyone feels the way that I felt, like the thoughts I’m ending and my baby is beginning, it changes you and hurts deeply, I pray she actually doesn’t read this all but I feel like I need to explain because I’d hate to scare anyone truly, I just can’t understand how the hospital let me suffer and if they did it to me, they’ll do it to others feelings. Being a mother or even just a woman you realize how little research there is on females as a whole and it’s sad, I believe in word of mouth, I believe in awareness
