One of the many many things that I love about this show is the dedication to the set building. It's so intricate, sometimes for little scenes that last only 30 seconds or less and they have to build and modify sets so much, and they're always so detailed. It's stuff like that that makes this show what it is.
this show is my all time favorite one and I can't live without watching it. Ever since the first time I watched it when I was in high school about years ago, it became a loop that I watch over and over again from season 1 to 9.

This is a great behind the scenes look at the sets and I just love this show. I literally just finished the whole series and decided to start it right back over. Now I'm going into all the commentary and special features since I own The Complete Story box set. To me what really made this all work were all the remarkable dynamics. Great casting, fleshed out characters, bright performances complimented with the best writing and storytelling, appropriate song choices and pieces of music that captured the essence and tone of the darker and more dramatic scenes in beautiful, humanistic ways. It had its heavy-handed moments of weakness obviously, namely the final season and its execution and ending especially but that also opens up great replay opportunities to watch the show again from different perspectives and view the journey through a different lens. Perhaps even putting things in a different light all and all. We all know nothing is perfect but overall there's few series shot in such a unique time-jumping manner that lend themself so well in telling this story. It makes you laugh and cry and touches the heart, resonating so deeply with the personal touches that make this show truly shine. I used to love Seinfeld and watch it everyday, still a favorite of mine but this has really been cemented once again as one of my favorite shows of all time. Heart-felt and even heartbreaking in some moments but always accessible, real and so well grounded. Overall a truly wonderful piece of television.

i visited new york a couple weeks ago and it’s not as great as ppl make it out to be. The crime and homelessness rate is so high. I saw a dudes face get punched when getting mugged literally right outside the hotel. As well as we were gonna go in a sushi place and this possibly mentally ill man for no reason, runs up behind a woman and puts a knife by her face and screams to scare. Then he just runs off.
