Comparing Moscow to New York is like comparing Mercedes to Fiat taking into consideration all comparable aspects; cultural, architecture, people.... I once mentioned that standard of living in Moscow is higher than in New York. Take Moscow salary of $1000 to $3000 New York salary net. In Moscow close to 90% of people do not pay rent because most people own apartments without mortgage (paid off) in New York 90% of people pay rent or mortgage. Two bedroom apartment in New York to rent is about $2000 to $3000. So at the end of the day New Yorkers are left without money unless they share accommodation and rent half of their apartments. My friend has salary $3200 and pays apartment $3400 in Williamsburg Brooklyn. He is forced to rent 2 additional rooms and share his apartment with strangers because this is the only way to survive. Now you tell me where is better to live and please correct me if I am wrong in my calculations.
you say everything correctly, but the Russians themselves do not understand this and do not appreciate it. Russia was changing gradually and many did not notice that they were already living in another country. I love Russia and the people here, although I myself am not from Moscow, in our city it is also clean and everything is well-groomed, even in the outback. People are calm, peaceful, areas where there used to be high crime have become oases. I personally remember the 90s and now there is something to compare. God Himself visited us and blessed us.

Trust me people in New York do not have better life because most of people are living pay cheque to pay cheque or credit and they live in old buildings with wooden floors. Russian Socialistic apartment buildings from 70-ties are 5 star hotels comparing them to an average NY apartment building. In those buildings you do not have privacy at all because they are so noisy. The buildings are noisy because of cheap standard of construction (paper/dry walls between apartments and wooden floors). Top earners and people with money are Chinese who got rich very fast in China and they are buying properties in NY usually in beautiful glass high rises where the prices are $1 mil and up. Even if you posses apartment in NY you need to pay additionally HOA for building maintenance very high price and this is a well known scam in North America (reed about it and scam with CoOp buildings). Those prices cannot be afforded by 95% of people in NY. In addition to all this if you want your kids or your family to have sport/cultural activity, university or be insured by health care you need to pay additionally at least $2000 to $3000 per month but those things in Russia are free of charge. Do not be impressed by Hollywood movies because those are just movies far away from reality. I love all people no matter where they are from but I hate how politicians and MSM media are manipulating people using them for their evil goals.....p.s....."God is an imaginary friend for grown ups".
@@_TheMax_ Thank you for sharing how people live in New York. Russians still think that in America people do not work, they relax all day long on the ocean, everyone has a car and a chic house. The same opinion about Europe, although I personally was in Greece and saw how people live there. Yes, outwardly, of course, it’s beautiful there, the sea, nature, climate, but when we talked with people, they said how hard it is for them to find even the simplest job (there are many such jobs in Russia, people don’t go there because of a small salary, or not prestigious) , and you won't find one there. The atmosphere was the same as we had in the 90s, a lot of abandoned buildings, apparently there were some enterprises there before, everything was painted with graffiti. Feeling of depression and decline.
In Russia, even the poor can afford a car; there is at least one per family. Almost everyone has their own housing, not rented, there are a lot of new buildings, high-quality, beautiful houses. For young people, when the first child is born, they are paid $ 8,000, for the second - $ 12,500, for a large family - $ 17,500. This money can be spent on improving living conditions, or on an institute for children when they grow up. There are almost no homeless people on the streets here, in order to find them, you need to try to go around the whole city, somewhere in the back streets we can find one. There are no alcoholics, drug addicts and even smokers on the streets. Smoking and drinking is allowed only in designated areas.
1-2-room apartments (for a small family) in my city cost an average of about $55,000-90,000. Recently, more and more people are leaving to live outside the city, building their own houses, this indicates their prosperity.
For example, my husband and I have an income of $ 2500-3000 per month for two, of which we spend on utilities (only electricity, because we live in our own house) $ 50-60 per month, gasoline $ 80-90, mobile communications 8 $, unlimited internet $14, food and other expenses $450-500 (this is together with animal food, we have a lot of them :) ), that's actually all the obligatory expenses end there, the rest is as it will be, something for maintenance cars, some expenses for the house. At the same time, our income is considered far from high, it is average.
Medicine here is free, there is also paid, but it is very affordable, you don’t have to spend your entire salary on it. Therefore, I am sincerely surprised when people complain about how bad life is for them in Russia, probably because they live in illusions and do not see the opportunities that are here.
But watching the politicians of the EU and the US lately, I got the impression that they are enemies of their own people, spending so much money left and right, at a time when there are so many problems in their countries. It would be better if they thought about their people, and they get into other people's relations and spoil everything that is possible in their path.
In the news, we see how the Western media are talking about us, but it’s all not true, as if there is some kind of total control, poverty, that there is no freedom, that Putin is allegedly a dictator, such a crazy lie, we have never lived as well as in this case president. And whoever says that it's bad here, it will be bad everywhere.
P.S. God, a Real friend of adults and children, came to me 10 years ago :) And if not for Him, we would be handed out by enemies, but we still stand, all glory to Him!

People always think that "grass is greener at the neighbor garden" but as a rule this is not true. I am telling you my experience and I am currently living in several countries Amsterdam, Bonn, Split, Florida, Canada and NY as well (due to nature of my job). Preserve your way of living do not let West destroy and corrupt your country. We, the World need alternatives and that alternative we see only in Russia, China , India and latin America. Politicians in Europe are hijacked and corrupted by people who owns FED and EUR printing machinery (you know who they are from 13th level). They forced EU politicians to go against their own countries and people's interests. Just look at Germany and UK or France. They will do everything possible to harm Russians no matter how much it will cost its own people. They work for NWO government controlled by those who control the money. Your BRIC and replacement of SWIFT and US $$$ is their enemy number one because without their money in circulations they will lose their corrupt power. Look at MSM they are spreading lies from beginning all the time and every day. Their narrative is always the same coming from the same source. In the West they are some people who are capable of using their own brain without being affected by MSM. We (the World) need you, we need you more than ever before. Stay safe and enjoy life do not let someone disturb your peace. Hopefully we will find peace before it is too late.

@@sanjajakimov4137 А я и живу в спальном районе, вообще нет никаких проблем. Метро а шаговой доступности, магазинов штук десять, Ашан, Перекрёсток, Дикси, Магнит и тд. В десяти метрах шикарный парк и для взрослых и для детей, всё ухожено, кругом цветы, детские площадки. Даже кладбище в районе есть уж если на то пошло, все под богом ходим. До центра на метро 25 минут, зелёная ветка. Я вообще практически в центр не выезжаю, всё что нужно абсолютно рядом в шаговой доступности. Даже дача не нужна, настолько много зелени, и даже водоём есть где можно в жару искупаться и позагорать. Всё супер!!!!! 👍🇷🇺👍🇷🇺👍🇷🇺

да разнообразия уже нет. раньше ролики, лонгборды, велосипеды и прочее.. всё съел электросамокат)

Ничего не знаю. Электросамокат - это не спорт. Это развлечение, позволяющее проехать и увидеть значительно больше, чем на другом лёгком транспорте. Мы уже третью модель берём на семью. Все лето парки наши. Едем поздно с работы, муж выбирает объездную новую дорогу, ставим машину, достаём самокаты из багажника и вперёд. Новый район изведан за полчаса-час. Пешком столько не находишь, на машине туда не проедешь, на велике или роликах устанешь и всего не увидишь. Очень рекомендую!

@@LostinMoscow Спасибо, что постарались меня успокоить, но мне всё-таки не спокойно, судя по тому, какой у неё скрученный поводок, это даже верёвка какая-то, наверное, барыня (или барин) очень сердитая была и не очень жаловали собачёнку дома.
Не одну такую душу пристроили здесь, в Германии, а также и московских уличных барсиков.
