How to Make a Ribbon Lei -
🌙 I used 2 pieces of 5/8” ribbon each cut at 16 yards each. This gave a lei that is approximately 21 inches in length when not closed. Approximately 12 inches once closed. 2 inches round.

How much would you charge for this? I’m just trying to get a price point. And, how long did it take you from start to finish?
Hii ✨ How are you ? For this style lei, I start at $50. Price varies based on colors, length, etc. They take a little under an hour for me to complete if there are no other add ins.

Are you asking how can you tell you’ve cut 16 yards of ribbon? A tape measure 💛

I just realized that the silhouette studio is a program for the machine. I thought you were hand cutting them. 🤦🏼♀️ Well time to invest in a machine lol. It would achieve what I'm looking for. Grateful for your help!
@@butterflykisses4dk Yes, silhouette studio is the design software comparable to cricut design space, Canva, etc.
I will hand cut simple shapes or use my Sizzix certain designs. But for ease and convenience, I use a Silhouette Portrait 3.
A machine will definitely help and make things easier. You don’t have to get the biggest, newest machine out either.
Are you following any paper crafters? A lot of crafters with bigger platforms will post “deals/quick buys”. I did not pay full price for any of the machines I own. Ex- Cameo 4 regular $300, I paid $180. Portriat 3 regular $200, I paid $80, but some people found them for $40. These were at Hobby Lobby clearance. But I believe the Cricut Explore Air 2 is on sale for $149 currently.
