Yesss, because when cocoa is exposed to air it becomes red, I remember because I use to play with it as a child.
It looks like okro this is so interesting my father was a cocoa farmer but we knew nothing about this whenever I go to Ghana I will try this. I know the little ones are slimy like okro wow
Tatiana I love your enthusiasm, you are really good and authentic. I love watching you. Keep up the good work sis.

Sister T., I too never knew about coco soup but it certainly looks delicious.
Tatiana thank you so much for all that your doing for Sunyani, representing this beautiful, peaceful place to the fullest, you have truly found your life calling , bringing massive blessings to this wonderful place in Ghana; I first heard about your channel and watched your road trip from Accra to Sunyani to Eastern &Volta Kingdoms respectively.
It was marvelous filming job, so many beautiful people, towns, markets and sights.
Again thank you very much for what you are doing for Ghana and ultimately for Africa as a whole, may God continue to rain blessings upon you and your family.
Yo are most certainly welcome my dear, in fact upon watching your tour of Sunyani I have decided that I must but a home there along with some property in the near future.
Again thank you for honoring the home of your ancestors, I'm quite sure you make them oh so proud of you and what you are doing.
Taty! Wow, wow, wow I learnt something new again💥💥💥. Absolutely had no idea that cocoa could be eaten this way or used for food preparation in such a manner🍴! Very vey eye opening👁👁! And since you are a trust worthy connoisseur of food, we know this is very delicious. You are going to create an avalanche of people visiting Sunyani, because you seriously place it on the map at all times🌎. Your tap tap send ads are the best! Love the way you weave it seamlessly into your videos. And you are a great brand ambassador for them, because you are a natural with the presentation skills. Once again another excellent video, brimming with authenticity and your natural ability before a camera📷. Great work! And keep the content flowing, as we are here for it!
Aawww thanks 😊. More success this year. Hopefully 100k by the end of the year 🥰🙏🏼
We use to cook with cocoa pods in place of okra when I was little . It’s even more slimy than okra. This brings back memories of the olden days.
Nice Nice Nice 👌. I remember we use to grind it in kontomera when we go to my grandma's coca farm decade's ago 😀 .
The food looks so delicious,I love okro

You so funny. I love your video. Also i love your dress fit you very well. Watching from st.lucia.
Tati I am just intrigued by your Ghanaian 🇬🇭 accent. I love your accent when you speak your English as well as when you speak in your native tongue. I am a big fan I tell my family about your channel about it all the time
Wow that’s a pleasure knowing this from you. Thanks very much Dennis. Really appreciate you ❤️
@@TatianaHaina ❤️I appreciate you as well. And one more thing you favor my Mother's side of my family. From your skin complexion and all. Seriously
My dad makes 3t) with cocoa nkruma and it's slimy just like okro... But it's my first time seeing it made into soup wow...Nice video 🔥
@@TatianaHaina it is not common tho. He probably has his reason for adding it 😂
This soup looks fantastic and might taste fantastic too. I will try some as soon as I get the chance to.
We used to cook food when we are in the village proud of you Tatiana ✊
🇬🇭🇪🇦
Eiiii my favourite soup….I have been eating since childhood. We call it coco nkroma
Waaw! I must come home to enjoy food oo 😁
Thanks for the video ☺️
Hi Tati, I had this soup before with face the wall, is so delicious.
Cocoa pod soup? In Ghana? The last time it was a fruit I did not know existed in Ghana. Today it is cocoa pod soup. Tatiana, you do it all.
Did not know Ghana had cocoa?? Really?? Ghana and our next door neighbor Cot d’Ivoire produce about 60% of the worlds cocoa. Just google.
@@suzanneowusu7147You missed my point. Every Ghanaian knows Ghana has cocoa, I was surprised it is used in making soup. It is unheard of in Accra where I grew up.
@@user-ug1sl3xy9r Did not know you were Ghanaian. I think I misconstrued your statement "The last time it was a fruit I did not know existed in Ghana" Sorry,my bad.I spent my vacations in a cocoa growing area so I knew of it.
Eieee I remember my village oooo is healthy food
Another great video. I’m learning a lot from your videos sister Tati. Great job!
Cocoa pod soup, brilliant. We want to see cocoa pod soup with fufu, rice balls, bowled ripe plantain, banku, kenkey, Fanti kenkey and Nzema rice kenkey.
Interesting
I was going to name my daughter your name but my sister who past away wanted me to name her Janae' I love your name...♥️♥️♥️
Wow never knew, thank you
PLEASE GIVE M MORE OF KUSASE FOODS. I HAVE NEVER EATEN THEIR FOOD BEFORE. WELL DONE , THANK YOU AND BE BLESSE
The kooka leaves is the hausa name for baobab tree leaves. It's mostly used in the powdered form. The leaves are normally dried up and pounded into powder then used to prepare kooka soup, normally on its own without combining it with any vegetables. This is the first time I have seen it being used with cocoa pod. I guess it will be very nutritious.
Everything is so soft I guess they don't have a problem going to the bathroom everything mushi oh my goodness
amazing 😀😀😀
This is very sustainable and great for the environment. Tati yall should present this to environmental contest
Where do the northerners get cocoa from since it does not grow in the north
Good, but is my first time seeing this food
Doesn't look yummy but it probably is.. I love to watch you cook
They eat everything in Ghana!!!
Is it cocoa leaves or baobab leaves?
Hello,, Tatiane Haina,,
Parabéns dia feliz noite feliz,,
Um abraço para todos vocês,,
Feliz Páscoa a todos vocês,,
Hoje é dia de alegria E a felicidade esteja sempre contigo,,,!@@@@!
Gracias gracias Gracias,!@@
🇧🇷❤🙏🏼😎🙏🏼❤🇬🇭🇧🇷🇬🇭😘❤
Looks tasty, we make a stew in Haiti similar but would never call it Coco lol 😂 every time you say it !!! Any other Haitians in here get me!!!
Parce que si vous êtes haïtien, vous savez exactement ce que je dis ! Lol koko signifie quelque chose de totalement différent !! 😹🤭
So where are you. I mean what village are you
the Gruma people also eat it but with onyina leafs .
Does it taste like chocolate already?
That is what I always prepare in the states
I liked it much when I was lttle girl.
When I was a kid, we used that to make Ampesi source. It's very good, just like okro/okra.
Why did u not put meat or chicken?
Lesson learnt never employ a Kusase man to take care of your cocoa farm. He will eat all the cocoa before they mature.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😘😘👌👌
cocoas ! every one knows their seeds! Koko gather fruit!
Taty the way you were licking your fingers made me salivate…..very yummy from my screen😋
kuuka might be the dawadawa leaves...
Since when Ghanaians use Cocoa for soup 😁😁 something new to me. Okay, and how my sister is using that knife to cut onions is very unique but scary
Where in Africa are you from? If you don't know just say don't know about cocoa pod soup.
Tatiana, this is a very expensive soup because the matured cocoa pods would fetch much more money.
The cocoa farmer cannot afford to have 3 wives anymore lol
🙏
Ghanian seem good wifes sha🕵🏽♂️
@@anastasiasarfokonadu1884what you saying I chatted few ghanian gals already so I know just this video proved even more why I should visit Ghana

I hope the coca leaves are not the same as the coca leaves I'm thinking about. If you know you know. Hahaha
boaba tree leave
👁👁👁
Baobab (leaves) rather
It's called baobab leafs
But please I didn't see u guys washing the cocoa pods
It had been washed already then left to dry. We can’t pound it when watery. It already slippery
Now you are talking!!! This ,here is authentic Ghanaian food not Egusi, okoro, akara, amala and ewedu ,moi moi or Nigerian fried rice or jellof!!!
Interesting
The Kuka leaves are from the baobab tree. So can be called baobab leaves
Wow first time seeing something like this,l like the process and this really looks yummy 😋 😍
Very yummy
