Very nice. A friend showed me this family of singers last night for the first time. What an incredible yodeler. It has a great sound. My dad played accordion and my mom's dad played guitar and both he and my grandmother would yodle. One of the composers and musicians I regularly listen to from Europe is Andreas Vollenweider. I have 6 of his albums.

I really appreciate your music, I do my best to play along with your video. I started playing when I was 9 years old. I took lessons from Jerry Schuft who was the best ever. He has some old videos on you tube if you want to hear him. I grew up 30 miles north of New Ulm, Mn. the old time music capital of America. Now days the old time music in this area is being forgotten little by little. Most of my polka friends are not with me anymore. That is why your music means so much to me. Dont worry many songs of yours are quite similar to this. Red river rock has the same accords for example. All country an german songs have the same roots. They are as simple as the edge of an axle.

I love hearing yodeling, it makes me incredibly happy. It makes me so happy because it reminds me of summers at my grandmutter’s and grandvater’s because they always had GERMAN polka that had much yodeling in it playing especially my grandmutter liked to play it. As a teen, I always wished for a different home life. Then I realized I needed to accept the childhood I had. When I grew up, I could create my own family just the way I want it. Start being more like them now by smiling more and loving what is beautiful and fun in life.

Actually, the polka tradition lives in both country and tejano music. Spend some time in towns along the Rio Grande in Texas and you will hear it...
