I was at the fight where he beat Saad for the title but from then to this fight he evolved to be even more fearsome. This was the most complete fight of Qawi's career even though Saad was a shell of the great champion he once was. I would have loved to seen him fight Eddie Mustafa Muhammad; what a clash of styles that would have been.
Immediately, one can see that Saad Muhammed's fabulous jab was not working the same as the first match with Qawi. His movement, speed and power were already much diminished after several grueling, hard fights. RIP Champ.
