nothing happends when i press the buttons. do i need a new battery? thought this was automatic.i got mine as a gift and dont know how to start the watch.
Hi! Great explanation! I was wondering if leaving the second hand and so also the chronograph constantly running would be a bad idea or not? I’ve read that some people suggest not to but since this is a quartz I wonder if it’s different
Greetings from The Netherlands. I just bought one of these with the white dIal, gold trim and a brown crocesque leather strap. I don't often wear quartz watches. I have to say, this is a beauty. It's an unworn, new old stock. There's a lot of dust on the original box explains it the best. I bought it for a steal from a German Ebay trader. It was well below the market price. Many thanks for this setup video. You explain the functions really well. I've saved the video for easy access.
Just an update on the moon phase calibrating schedule for this watch. I asked the Certina customer service centre in Eindhoven about the accuracy of the moon phase function. A very pleasant fella called Maarten dug out the relevant information from the Certina factory in Switzerland. "...Based on a moon phase cycle of 29d, 12h, 44min and 2.8s our watch is programmed to turn in 29d, 12h, 44min and 3s. It means that the error after 100 years will be of around 2h..." I don't think anyone has anything to worry about after the initial setup. I hope this helps anyone who's interested. Certina make some seriously good and reliable watches. 😀
Certina beautiful brand. I was expecting this video. You are great!!!
Well Done !!! My Friend!!!😀

Great video. Do you have to manually set the date after each month? (Some months are longer that others) :-)
Great, thank you very much 🤗
In the end of every video I always say bye at the same moment. :)
Great explanation as always 👍🏼

Gorgeous watch. How is the overal quality on these?
1 tick in moonphase setting is 1 hour!
