@@extremeacc101 in your opinion Matt, is the touch 50 quite large enough, as obviously the touch 70 is much dearer, or is it well worth paying the extra
I've noticed on a few of your installations, that the earth cable is coming off the shunt and going through the floor. Are you going from the shunt to the chassis, and then earthing accessories to chassis instead of running back to the battery?
Great pick up. In some applications yes, some no. The idea is to keep your earth runs short, this allows for better current flow and minimal resistance. If you continue to use your chassis as the earth (it already is an earth point) your just making it better by allowing return current to not have to run back to the source.
beautifull clean installation,love that stuff!
Glad you like it!
Are not there new rules for battery location? Nice set up.
They don't come into effect until later this year and they aren't as black and white as all the naysayers on social media try to make out.....
Correct
As of November this year the rules change. The batteries need to be in their own separate location or enclosure.
Welcome back Matt, great video as normal. P.s 16-24kw is better :)
Thanks bloke they are getting more powerful.
Not long before the 24 V 5000 VA units come into the norm 👍👍
@@extremeacc101 Sure are mate and you know my plans, still want to use the scouts but thinking 24v but only thinking lol.
Hi Matt, are you using the touch 50 or touch 70 screen, I’m considering which one to buy
We use both.
Completely up to the customer

@@extremeacc101 Cheers for the explanation. I enjoy watching your vids, it's incredible what kind of systems you can get in these vans.
