Has anyone tried ripping the audio from this video and tried to load it in a BBC Micro emulator?

Incase anyone wondering what computer program was broadcast at the end was then I'll think you will be disappointed 😊. It was just a message about the forthcoming live programme and how to submit a question, asking if you would be happy to be called on the phone (presumably to ask your question live on air) or would like to be in the audience. I loaded this into my original 40 year old BBC B computer I had back in the day.

I am not convinced that the Vestric system WAS more convenient than voice phone.
Via *modern* systems it would indeed be far more convenient (not least becaust there would be no need to physically connect it to place the order or get prices, but also the far better screen modern devices have).
My real problem was not the primitive UI so much as the need to go to the acoustic coupler. Even just a few years later, cellular radiotelephones were available and doing the order, price/stock level checks etc from the shelf would IMHO have been a huge improvement even with the same UI.

being able to do it over the computer, means you can do it when you have the time even if it's outside normal hours, and helps avoiding mistakes - which were quite common with dictation and interpreting handwriting. Much of the use of computers in the pharmaceutical and medical industry is to increase precision and reduce the risk that mistakes can happen
