Produced by Wide Wings Media.
Sukhan is a 3 hours long performance (mehfil) with a short interval, enriched by the plethora of compositions of Urdu literature, Hindustani Classical music and Sufi music. A performance enriched by gems like Urdu story telling (Daastaan-goi), recitation of Ghazals and Nazms, recitation of Urdu prose, musical rendition of Ghazals and Qawwalis.

And mostly I specifically mentioned maharashtrian roots of "Sukhan" Because you might not know that the Wali Gujrati(Wali Dakhani) was the first urdu poet who gave gazals a new height that no North indian urdu poet of that time can give was basically from Aurangabad Maharashtra . But when discussed about dakhani urdu people only think about hyderabad not Maharashtra. Also to bring to your notice that the Rekhta community is founded by person who is maharashtrian and I am happy to see urdu getting it's important again in tha dakhan(Maharashtra)

I remember watching this performance Live at the 98th Maharashtra Natya Sammelan in Kalidas Natugruha, Mulund. The Program started at 1 AM post Midnight with a Housefull of Audience and people sitting on the Floors. I myself sat on the Steps and trust me the Live Performance Experience was Euphoric. A big fan of SUKHAN ❤️
