@@AyyMz This is exactly right. I just was made aware they are unveiling a new monster boat at tri cities which is a step in the right direction but also H1 screws the pouch every year. For example. This year at tri cities on Saturday they have testing from 8am to 10am the first heat of unlimiteds isnt til 4pm 6HOURS LATER!!!! It’s just baaaad bad business. They also issue penalties still in the middle of the heat if u have a double decker race but one of em jumped after the first lap u come over on the PA and announce the penalty the other bot backs off the race becomes essentially over and the most important part ur fans are completely disengaged when that happens u get no new fans that way either. But sponsorship is bad but it doesn’t need to be miller lite or Budweiser or the Winston eagle or smokin joes etc they just need to appeal to the younger crowd they need a bang energy boat maybe a red bull boat they need national sponsors they also need to have an event set up on like a Saturday night like a concert on site that bring new not more but new bodies to the races do a sale something like everyone who buys a ticket to the concert gets admission to the races. H1 will die if they don’t start trying to appeal to the younger generation. My dad literally said this to me this evening “if I can sing along to the music coming through the PA system up in the booth during a break then there’s something wrong”. Which he’s right. My dad along with all the other old generation fans are all already fans we already got them we don’t need to target them we need to appeal to new and more fan base. I hear we have 9 boats in tri cities that’s a plus but they need to get better sponsor they need to run it way different from a H1 standpoint they need adapt or die they need to realize that although the GPS and the unlimited lights etc are a cool addition but ain’t nobody buying a ticket to see boats go 135mph when there’s boats on the dock that do 200. People come to see the unlimited and in tri cities u gotta wait if u end up sticking around 6 hours till they hit the course and race. It’s ridiculous plannings. That’s bringing nobody back next year. Just dumb dumb dumb

I think they failed to appeal (and advertise) to the younger generations. After Budweiser dropped out, it all went downhill
