Not a collector, didn't even play with them much as a kid (and I'm 53!), but I absolutely enjoy the love you have for your hobby, and your videos are so cool. I have watched other restorers, but you are hands down the best at taking care of the car. As for your collection, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the early Lesney models, and would vote "Yes" to seeing more!
I'd love to see a tour of your actual in-home display case! Love seeing your collection - very cool. I don't collect at all, but hearing you talk so passionately about this is the best.
Dude you're like therapy for me. You're voice is asmr, not to mention your craftsmanship is off the freaking charts, I do customizations, no where compared to yours, I praise thee, for you are revered, BY ALL 😎
Your colkection piece was fun. It reminded me how my dad gave me a new Matchbox or Hot Wheels car every week from 1966- 1969. One of them was the GT-40 ( mine said 9!). Around 1972, Matell had a hot injection moulding machine where you could make Hot Wheels cars at home. It used a laminated metal base of pot metal and I guess steel to compensate for the lightness of the injection moulded body compared to a regular hot wheel. The wheels were modified redlines on straight thin wire axels. I don’t remember the process, but you basically assembled the base in the lower half of the mould, then put the upper half of the mould for the body style you wanted to make ( there were 3 ), put the mould in the machine, filled the hopper with the low temp polymer and waited for it to melt. and then pulled the handle down like soft serve ice cream until the polymer came out the vents- presto! You were now Carroll Shelby! Back to the GT-40, it was the fastest “looking” car I had but the slowest one on the hot wheels track so I took it apart and epoxied in two axels from the injection moulder kit, and painted it navy blue. It turned into my fastest car. Still have it. And I was 10, so no groans, lol.
I love what you do!! Please show us all of your collection, maybe even longer videos dedicated to just your collection. I know that I would enjoy that greatly!!
More videos of your collection please. My son and I go picking and it’s a great way to bond when they are young. I had the same blue Lincoln when I was a kid. My grandfather always played with the red one from matchbox and I got the blue one. It definitely took me back and brought up some great memories. Thanks and Merry Christmas.
More more more! This was just the right amount in my opinion of your collection to view for a collection video. Short to-the-point little bit of background information and very enjoyable as it keeps changing from one car to the next with a little bit of history.
Happy holidays to you, too! I am particularly pleased to see those Matchbox cars, most of which I had (and still have somewhere!) as a boy in the 1960s. If I recall correctly, the Horsebox you showed, as well as a ramp, also had some plastic horses, which may also have been red - but my memory may faulty.
Very nice to see vintage matchbox. I do have a few of these old goodies in my collection too like that 4 axle dump truck. I will look for to get that Cadillac ambulance.
Growing up in the 60s and 70s I should have been into Hot Wheels and Matchbox but never was. This is the first time I have ever been enamored with these types of cars. Your videos are great and your presentation is great. Keep posting please. Happy New Year!
I love your channel! I cannot stop watching your videos! I found on flea markets 5 cars that your displaying on this video. Walk walk on flea markets you never know!
Thank-you for the update on paint very cool differences opens up possibilities. And a big THANK YOU for sharing your real collection. I collect that early era of great Die cast cars Moko, Lesney, Matchbox and they to me are still the top winners. Happy Christmas and blessed New Year to you and family. Cheer's John
I'm 18 and I've been collecting vintage hit wheels matchbox and other brand toy cars for years now. I've probably got over 6,000 cars not gonna lie. It's a fun hobby for me and I like try to find all the different variations of models. I have some very nice red lines and very nice lesser know brands that are worth a good amount. Love your vids and just thought I'd let you know that u should keep up these great vids. Thanks
Okay I see someone had to feel the need to comment that they were first... I'm not first but I feel the need to comment on the Exquisite complexity of this man's videos his Mastery of his craft and also let him know that he is The go-to Grandmaster of Hot Wheel customizations and I quote his channel and videos constantly to my 1/18 plastic scale model friends on Instagram. You have been an inspiration to me end continue to inform me
Even though I do not collect these old Lesney MBX it’s rather refreshing to see these old diecast cars being showcased - although I do have some old Lesney MBX. I mainly collect cars from my own childhood era in the 70s and 80s as well as newer MBX and HW, GL etc. Yes I wouldn’t mine seeing some more vintage Lesney MBX cars being restored as well as vintage HW cars
Thanks for sharing that video with us, it brought memory lane back for a ride along. Beautiful pieces of what I'd imagine to be an awesome collection. Would something to see. Happy Holidays and a joyful/prosperous New Year! :-)
BaremetalHW you are a whiz with the work you. As per lots of previous comments I would love to see more of your collection. I'll never get to your standard, but stumbling on your vids has introduced me to a new hobby. Thanks for again for your vids. Have a great Chistmas mate. Looking forward to some more great work.
It's not a bad idea From all the other channels that do this sort of thing, you never really see their face Why would you? You're there for toy cars, not talking heads
I love Matchbox cars since they were much more common to find in my country, Ecuador. Thanks to share part of your collection, you have some gems there.
Ah. The beautiful Iso Grifo. My all time favourite Lesney Matchbox model. It's funny that you should show it now as I was sitting at home yesterday, wondering what it would look like in either (a) deep red or yellow, and (b) with a nice set of 'Real Riders'. The problem there is that I only have one, and, like yours, it's in really nice condition, so I don't really want to tinker with it - but I did remove the tow hook.
Thank you for showing your collection, I enjoy these videos, you pretty much showed part of my Matchbox collection which I purchased new in the 60s, I should say my mother purchased, I had them all except for the Blue Van and I have the lime green variation of the Lincoln as well as a Green version of the Iso Griffo. Twenty-some years ago I purchased mint in box versions of alot of my Matchbox collection
Love the collection type video. You should totally do more of these. The paint was really neat with different base coats. Love your videos. Happy holidays

I enjoy seeing the old matchbox toys. Mine all suffered the fate of extreme play and are now one with the universe.
Definitely appreciated the carousel narration of your collection. Please more of that!
Please post more from your collection. Watching videos like this is a fun trip down memory lane.😃

Merry Christmas to you too.
Nice video . Beautiful cars and trucks .
What did I just see in the reflection of the silver spoon at the 1 minute mark? Cylon?
jmm584 Nice catch! By your command!
I'd say it because the silver was so shiny that it would have shown his face so he stuck on the cylon mask
It's not a bad idea
