Star Trek: Resurgence is a narrative adventure game featuring dialog choices, relationship building, and exploration. So the story is actually pretty good and keeps you invested till the end, but some of those gameplay mini games are annoying lol. Also for the first few hours i couldn't get stable fps during gameplay segments till they updated the game last night. So the motion blur is a bit high in the beginning few hours. There were no settings to turn it off either sadly.
So they fixed the stuttering? Please say yes!
Thanks for this, was on the fence about getting this but if the story is a good one, I can overlook some flaws in the presentation

Damn, so far it really looks and most surprisingly feels like a Star Trek.
I really like this game. A Final Unity will always be my favorite Trek game of all time but this one could very well be number 2. The Elite force games had good stories but all the shooting seemed to be “un-Trek-like” for lack of a better term. I haven’t played Star Trek Online in almost 10 years but I might give it another try in the near future

Hmm, when i was teathering myself to the hull, i thought I timed it perfectly but flew away only to be caught by the thether and my colleague and thought that was meant to happen, I'm surprised to see here that you can remain attached to the hull! 😯😀🤘
are there any action sequences in this game or is it all dialogue?

It's all talking. Talking. Talking. No shooting, no fighting, just talking. Its like a board meeting or as someone funny would say a Bored Meeting. I am enjoying the game. I enjoy talking. Let's talk. 😂
@@Miketv79 Granted there is a lot of (fun and important) talking, but stick with it and there is quite a lot of action and combat ahead!
Indeed I really like the game, but if there's one thing in it that annoys me is the sometimes good but often forced tricorder, where generally the results of a particular scan are the only thing that progresses the game and you can spend an inordinate amount of time pointing it at things and switching scans to somehow find what you need, but that besides, I think the game is great! 😯😀🤘 .

I was also more defiant with the captain, telling him i made the right decision and that he didn't have all the facts, but he had pretty much the same reaction as he does here!
He's just programmed to be an inflexible and self-righteous character who cares more about his reputation then the crew and was surely responsible for the accident that killed the previous first officer and several other crew members! 😯😀🤘

Wow. With today’s technology, the graphics of this game is pretty subpar. The story seems pretty intriguing though.
looks fun but deffinetly needs a next gen polish for ps5 and xbox x and pc graphical wise
i know graphics isnt everything but i do hope they do a next gen edition

After finishing the game, can you continue playing, but freely?
I doubt it, but there are several big binary decisions in the game that drastically change the course of the game that require you to play through it at least twice to see and do everything...
In particular if you're into trophies, you similarly have to play through the game at least twice to make various trophy related choices and to get the Platinum trophy, you technically have to play through the game three times to unlock all the trophies (unless you mess around with save files), as at a particular point you are given a choice between three officers to promote on the ship!
All in, there's a lot to do in the game and it has a lot of replay value before any possible DLC or expansions! 😯😀🤘
Maybe one day we will get a proper ST game

I played for about 5 minutes before giving up after just about trying to throw my controller through the TV screen. There is NO option for inverted y-axis look in the game settings and after 30+ years of muscle memory to an inverted y, the frustration was too much, and as much as I was looking forward to this game, it wasn't worth the perseverance to unlearn and relearn the look controls - which would then impact literally EVERY other game I play - so uninstalled and got a refund. Makes me sad, as I've missed new good ST games since Activision stopped pumping them out.

After I was burned by Star Trek The Game, I wasn't to buy a ST game before looking to gameplay...and...this is disappointing. Voice acting is bad, character models seems boring, walking animation sucks. In overall, it looks more like a mobile game than one being released on PC and NG consoles.
