I moved to Leicester in 2012 and when my first daughter was 1 year old, our next door neighbour who is now nearly 60 comes and tells me that I need ti have a life. I do nothing staying at home and don’t even bother to dress up properly. I do nothing itseems lol. She is still my neighbour and she still sees me do nothing at all but also sees how my family is progressing, the same 1 year old now is a happy healthy 6 year old who goes to school full time because I did nothing. Strange world yaar sometimes thing is people who have seen every struggle every hardship, either forget or are selfish that they don’t understand or acknowledge that even others are sailing the same boats. Anyway, thank you for the weather updates. It is nice and warm today though but another storm in the forecast. Itseems schools might be shut down for 2 months to eradicate coronavirus. I asked my daughter’s teacher yesterday about this and they said, if that happens then this year there will be 4 months of holidays. Because some of them might have already booked their summer holidays so we can’t amend them. I asked what about the exams and they have no idea how it goes. Whatever happens fingers crossed 🤞🏻

I myself have been a full time working woman, a full time homemaker and now a work from home woman... Have experienced all d phases of family life... I do understand that in many families homemakers are looked down upon as sirf ghar pe rehti hain. And also i have seen people commenting on working women as 'ye to bahar jati hain'. But primarily, i feel whoever u are... no woman is spared from the basic household chores. It is not like if u r at home, you do all household chores urself and if u r working u dont have to do it at all. There r many homemakers who have 24 hour house help for every single household chore from.cleaning to cooking... And then there are lakhs of other working women who do jhadu burtan kapde at home and then go out to work also. So i dont really see the difference in women's job... Except for one major extra addition that is... Going out to work in case of women women... In addition to household chores.
