It doesn't matter how much they try, Konami will never create an ygo anime as good as 5ds, they won't. They could, but they won't... and that is unfortunate to say the least.
I mean, at least the english one is consistent. It's actually not great in the long run to base part of the regional dub on JP and the rest on 4K-version, because that just means we don't have the full picture on either.

My biggest problem with the show is why do they rely on Synchro monsters against Synchro killers? Jack and Yusei both have Fusion monsters that can win then the day without nearly as much luck. Why not use those?
Khalil Safe Jack has Multiple Piece Golem, and against Team Unicorn, Yusei summons Dragon Knight Draco-Equise, which has 3200 attack. Only 100 less than Shooting Star Dragon, and could ruin a Meklord's day because they're not that strong.
Khalil Safe Because he used it once and then decided "Nah, let's stick with Stardust, who's 700 points weaker and weak to what's been haunting me all season"
Both Yusei and Jack went through an entire arc trying to find alternate ways to deal with the Synchro killers and in result both have fusion summoned a few times. I think they are just hard to get out something. I don't think they ever state why they never used it though.
