I just accept that freestyle is usually written and enjoy them for what they are. Because if I compare them to what Harry does then it will ALWAYS be underwhelming. It is like racing. There is the kind of racing that Usain Bolt did and there is the kind of racing they do in formula 1 race cars. They are both racing, but they are VERY different types of racing. Maybe it is a bad analogy, but it is the best I got at the moment.
That’s the thing about this guy, he’s setting a bar for modern day rappers. It sucks in a good way. Idk how to say it But I still believe we’ll see some others come out and there’s a lot of old school freestyle off the top songs that people have done in one take and their like Shakespeare esque poetry. Mack can do it, I like the way he did souliliquies, but it’s not the style he’s doing mostly.

HMack just snapped on the first segment completely, the cadence and rhyming scheme is absolutely insane, off the dome; it is so difficult to do I can't even. And the cherry on top is the basketball scheme with Hakeem. Incredible as always!

I assume it is at least somewhat comparable to the cognitive effort necessary for simultaneous interpretation. It's hard enough to hear and instantly repeat a spoken text in the same language. But throwing a language transfer in between hearing and speaking, while keeping the delay as close to zero as possible **really** hard and stress inducing. Add to that the fact that this is usually only done for quite important occasions. I know because I tried my hand at that and ultimately decided that I will not earn my money this way.
