bro it feels like a clip show because the original idea was “badass montage of darth vader cutting people up to the beat of look what you made me do” and i went from there. i actually DID make an effort to try to reflect the lyrical content of the verses in the clips i chose-for instance “i don’t like your tilted stage / the role you made me play / of the fool” being paired with anakin feeling disrespected by the jedi council. i interwove clips of the prequels and the original trilogy out of sequence because i wanted to emphasize that anakin and darth vader are the same character, the same story. the video is supposed to reflect that throughout his character arc, anakin/vader places blame outside of himself and genuinely feels as though his actions are the right or only course. thanks for the criticism i guess, but i wanted to throw out there that there IS a story in the vid and in the song, or at least there was meant to be. take care.
