  • #singapore #popefrancis #shockingnews #heresy #jesusislord #catholicchurch #vatican - Moving beyond Pope Francis' “ALL RELIGIONS ARE PATHS TO GOD" speech, here's my take on what Pope Francis COULD have said - but DIDN'T!
00:36 Alternatives if Francis knew he would need to compromise the Gospel.
    01:08 My experience as a multi-faith chaplain.
01:36 MY REVISED (non-heretical version of WHAT POPE FRANCIS COULD HAVE SAID in Singapore.
05:52 Analysis: the globalist agenda and one-world religion.
    06:40 "Lord, transform MY heart!"
DEEP DIVE: Two points worth mentioning is the difference between affirming a PERSON and affirming their FAITH. Also, no "religion" can promise salvation; only Jesus can. My point in my "revised speech" about a conversion of heart may raise shackles among some die-hard Catholics, but is fully in-line with Church teaching, an in any case, is surely FAR better than Pope Francis' direct denial of the unique supremacy of our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ?
In this revised, impromptu speech, just as Pope Francis did, I ask my (imagined) audience a question or two. Francis used this technique to elicit agreement upon which he then went on to build his quite heretical hypothesis. Here, I use the same device, but for a rather different purpose - to help affirm the individual and gain their implicit agreement that "seeking truth" is a concept that men and women all can agree is a "good thing". I use this in order to introduce the uniqueness of Our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ in a non-threatening and logical manner, while avoiding he possibility of theological hair-splitting. As in Athens, after St. Paul's speech at the Areopagus about the "unknown god", some sought him out afterwards and said, "We want to hear you again on this subject" (Acts 17:32-34).
Regardless of whether you view Pope Francis' message to the youth of Singapore as heretical or not, he definitely flunked Evangelism 101. I rest my case! - John Ruffle, 26th September, 2024.
(PS: No, I'm not up for election in the next conclave, although maybe I could come on board as his speech writer, haha!)

I recommend reading the full transcription from the Holy See. The speech, in its whole, is less problematic than the snippets taken out of context. Rather, what I got from it is that it was a conversation with people from many different faiths. He was trying to build peace amongst them all. Not tell them all they're all wrong and convert everyone. So, he was focusing on their similarities. They are all seeking God in their own way. Walking their path to God. "All paths to God". He didn't say they were all valid paths. He didn't point that out because remember his purpose wasn't to go into Singapore with a wagging condescending finger and foster animosity amongst different religious groups.

I did indeed listen to the transcription before making the video. Maybe you haven't watched my video in its entirety, because I am not at all advocating a hard line "you are all wrong!"" approach. However, Pope Francis clearly denied the uniqueness of Jesus and His sacrifice, and that is a mis-informed approach for any Christian to take. The Pope has also said that we need to read the Book of Acts and seek to follow in its footsteps - which is rather ironic, because I have never found anything remotely like what the pontiff said anywhere in Acts.

New Living Translation , Paul rebukes Peter
But when Peter came to Antioch, I had to oppose him to his face, for what he did was very wrong. When he first arrived, he ate with the Gentile believers, who were not circumcised. But afterward, when some friends of James came, Peter wouldn't eat with the Gentiles anymore. He was afraid of criticism from these people who insisted on the necessity of circumcision. As a result, other Jewish believers followed Peter's hypocrisy, and even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy. When I saw that they were not following the truth of the gospel message, I said to Peter in front of all the others, "Since you, a Jew by birth, have discarded the Jewish laws and are living like a Gentile, why are you now trying to make these Gentiles follow the Jewish traditions?

So what to do about Francis , he certainly doesn't represent the Christian view who will rebuke him . Will he stay in office if so many will join the protestant churches including me .

Moving to a Protestant church is not really the answer. To be a faithful Catholic, we must stay firm in the Gospel and Church teaching - something that Pope Francis is now denying.

@@padrejohnruffle Jesus proclaimed, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” In other words, there are no options on the route to eternal life-there is only one way, and Jesus is that way. I know that you understand this , it's so basic and for the leader of the church to contradict and say otherwise is absurd .

then i guess there were no Christianss from 1 A.D. til the 1400's when luther and the rest came up with a new Christianity??? Where were these Christians-and we won't believe they were hiding in caves and left no records until the new religoius movements. I'm staying with the Church that has the 2,000 years of receipts and I hope you will return as well in Jesus name.
