Daily Yamazaki is a convenience store we’re not too familiar with so we had fun trying things from here. Let us know which one was your favorite!
Ah I miss all of japanese conbini food. Thank you for the food review! These videos are fun to watch.
More to come!
The sausage wrapped in tortilla is inspired from taquito's. Awesome content as always! Happy New Years!
Glad you enjoyed it! Happy New Year!
I would love a video about daily yamazaki onigiri!!!
The video idea of must-try items from each konbini is a brilliant idea. I will definitely watch them all!
That pizza looked so good. So does the spaghetti. Now I’m hungry 😋 Happy holidays guys!
The way you describe the nostalgic burger reminds me of our California school lunch hamburgers from the 60s-70s. They tasted more like grain than beef.
Wow!! A lot of winners on this visit!! So happy to see you enjoying yourselves 😊. Wishing you and your families a very happy, healthy New Year. ❤
That was a nice, cozy video! Everything you tried looked yummy. The Kakiage Onigiri and Cream Chiffon Cake were my favorites. Also, I think I'd really enjoy a vegetarian version of the Daily Hot Pizza. An "all the onigiri" video sounds like fun and wonderfully informative for anyone who'll be visiting Tokyo soon. Love to you both 💙💚, and Happy New Year to you and to all your subscribers!✨🎉✨
Good review. Must try Daily next time in Japan. Happy New year guys. You are heroes. Regards from Sydney.
Daily Yamazaki is underrated for sure. They've never really tried to expand like the others, but they have been doing things their own little way in the best way possible.
One thing to note is that some of them aren't even open 24 hours a day, especially in the rural areas.
Happy to see smaller combini chains getting some love at the end of the year. Can't wait for the Mini Stop episode because there is one near Inaricho station that I go to that has an awesome hot food and onigiri section. So good!
Meanwhile in the U.S we have pretty much just chips soda and candy at our convenience stores 😔
I think you chose everything I would have. 😂 Looks amazing! Now I know when I visit I must have a Daily nearby and I won't ever be hungry. 😊
I was recently in Japan and tried the 7-11 frozen premium spaghetti and it was delicious restaurant quality. Highly recommend!
It all looks delicious! Thank you for the video!
Guys, happy new year. Unfortunately we don't have any Yamazaki stores in okinawa. On my 3 trips to Tokyo this year, they have a store inside the Haneda Innovation Center close to my hotel. Their baked goods are good, especially the breakfast sandwiches. take care everyone
Thanks guys. Great stuff. Can’t wait to try Japaneses take away finger food. Looks so good. Aussie Bob ❤❤
When you talk about the 'ear' on bread, you're not crazy! Loaves that are scored have a part that sticks up and gets brown that is called the 'ear' :)
Ive not been to a DYZ that looks as good as that. 711, Fam and Lawson are my faves.
WOW everything looks so delicious take care 😘😘❤️🤩😍🥰👍💯🙏🌹
Is Daily Yamazaki secretely the best Konbini? I would love to try that Kakiage Onigiri in particular. Looks fabulous!
It's so good!
Love the Japanese food ideas , I get inspiration for my cooking. Happy new Years ! oxox
Thank you for sharing this end of year feast! For me, the fried mochi looked the most delicious. Although I love most foods from a conbini, the more traditional foods are my favourite. Makes me remember foods that my Japanese mother-in-law used to make when we first moved to Japan in the ‘80’s. At that time there weren’t many western style foods available. Thanks again for sharing. Looking forward to your New Year’s Eve live stream. ❤❤
That onigiri looked very good. I want to learn to make that tempura. I think i would like the cream cake too. And the mochi. Love mochi.
The bread store well i don't know if that is the same store but when I went to Japan I came across a place i refer to as the bread store because they literally have dessert breads, savory breads, and much more. I stocked up on a couple of different types of breads from a pizza bread very similar to what you are eating and some cream filled bread, dinner rolls, bread with seaweed and placed in the small hotel fridge and had lunch , dinner , and breakfast. So can't wait for a whole bread review video. Eating at such places like 7-11 saved me so much money to spend enjoying the sites of Japan
Thank you guys! Your videos are always so informative :D Please do a video on all of their onigiri and their breads!
Happy New Year to you and the TabiEats family! Wishing all a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2025!! 🎉🎉🎉
Happy New Year!! 🎊
My favorite combini.
Thank you for sharing ...
Tbh, I think all of the konbini items look so yummy. Keep up the awesome work. And, take care. 🍣
Thank you so much! We agree, there's so much deliciousness in these stores. 😊
There should be more Daily Yamazaki in Tokyo. The food looks really good. Yes you can fry tortillas if you make it fresh it's really crispy. Saya loves it. I usually put a black bean and sweet potato filling in it, but I'm going to try putting a sausage in it sometimes.
I would try the shrimp katsu sando. You don't often see sandwiches with the crust still on in stores. And the kakiage onigiri. And everything mochi has my name on it.
30 minute walk is more like an INKONBINI, right?!
I'm a big fan of dango, the fried mochi looked interesting
Onigiri video would be awesome! Yes please and arigato gozaimas
😊 美味しいそう Happy New Year. Has Satoshi ever tried making pizza dough?
It's called "takitos", flour tortilla filled with, meat or cheese or chicken...etc. 7-eleven here have the best ones on the roller grill, yummy!😂😂😂
Can you please bring a couple of Japanese convenient stores to Warm Springs Oregon? 🧐😃
I would absolutely put that piece of chicken on that pizza. but full bread and onigiri videos sound Amazing.
I've always wondered how much of a kick of ginger there should be with shogayaki!
Happy New Year!
Waipahu and Ewa are blowing up with illegal fireworks as usual! Do you miss it?
The onigiri looked impressive, tried getting some in Japanese conbini in town but ran out sadly. Hopefully now that Japanese company owns our 7/11 in future may stop being basic, cheers and thanks 🥂
Like the onigiri with tempura. I like to make spaghetti with meat sauce so I'm pretty sure I'd not like any market version. But you are welcome to try them all. I've don't think of desserts being part of your cultural food picture. But you showcase them often. Is this a newer thing? Newer as in since say 1990s? Not cookies or sweets, but full desserts.
the tortia thingie looks like a Lumpia ive never had one but they're very famous like egg rolls but with other things in the middle
In Los Angeles they are called "Mexican Hot Dog" because Mexican people prefer tortillas instead of bread
Thank you for all you've done for us in 2024, I'll look forward to your adventures in 2025. Also a ranking of the spaghetti with meat sauce sounds like a great idea!
The sponge cake reminded me of US twinkies!!
see you
Just curious, have you ever fallen ill from any fast food or prepared dishes like this?
20 years of regular japan visits and I've never had a problem, level of care in japan is different, it's not like in the west at all, I was concerned about food sitting at room temperature but it's fine.
Incredibly we have never had food poisoning from convenience stores in Japan.
@@TabiEats That’s wicked good! I’m always skeptical because food handling isn’t always the best here in the USA….its sad to say but true.
😎
You know what would be interesting? I'd love to see a video where you two speak in Japanese instead with subtitles.
Pizza
Looks good but I’m kinda leary about meat sandwiches not kept in a cooler. 🤔 🥴
Nice to see you both. Happy New Year!🎉❤
