- Friends & fans gather for John Lennon’s 43rd Memorial in Strawberry Fields, Central Park. People from near and far brought their instruments, their sheet music and their hearts to the park and created a magical day of music.
Epic, emotional, wonderful and unforgettable. Now and then. Forever and ever.
Beautiful! People coming together in peace and love! The power of music. I’m sure John is smiling in heaven. ❤️💕

I've been watching these gatherings for a few years now, and I've enjoyed seeing how great and talented the musicians and singers and the crowd in general are - they're so spirited and they have such a good time performing these enduring Beatles songs. The videos were especially lovely to see during the Covid lockdown. And Now, just like Then, I love how all these guys learned this "new" song, turning it into an instant classic. This song just breaks my heart in so many ways! I love it but I tear up every time. I’ve been a fan since 64. I wore out “meet the Beatles” as a 6 year old and by 13 I was playing guitar, drums and bass and continue to play music !!

You Stuart M. and Cmputrbluu should get together, combine and edit a documentary and present it to the TV media as a public interest story about the Meetles and or about the two Strawberry Field Annual events in honor of John Lennon. The World needs to see and enjoy this. Millions love the Beatles and would be very interested. Thank you guys !

my fav is the guy seated bass player, i f not for him it would not be as good, he mkes all the songs so much better, thank you.
Good eye and ear! He's the undisputed top contender for the title of Unsung Hero of the Occasion; his chops took this thing up more than a few notches.
Who is the youngish guy with the short back and sides haircut and wearing the suit ? He's at nearly every one of these gatherings. He's a real enthusiast. Anyone know his name ? I'd like to commend him on his good work.

This is a very well performed version of "Now And Then".
But as good a song as it is, it does not belong in the Beatles category. It is an unfinished Lennon demo, reconstructed by TWO BEATLES, NOT ALL FOUR. The actual Beatles broke up in 1970 and sadly cannot be replicated in their original form. And that fact remains, despite a sentimental nostalgic attempt to do so via this song. Leave the legend alone. Don't try to envision what MIGHT have been.
This song then, should have been a Lennon solo release, because that is what it is. And it would have been just as successful.
