I've got $50,000 to invest. I want to build a nest egg for when I'm older. I want to know if it's a good idea to add all my savings into a long term ETF, set and forget Come back in 20-30 years, instead of 250-300 DCA every month. Which ETF would you recommend.?
As the saying goes, 'time in the market beats trying to time the market.' I suggest consulting with a licensed financial advisor. They can provide guidance on balancing high-risk and low-risk investment strategies tailored to your portfolio.
I’m working towards financial freedom with a focus on dividends & growth investing. Since 2014, I’ve built a portfolio made up of 50% SCHD, 25% SCHG, and 25% VOO, thanks to my financial advisor. This strategy has helped me earn $36,000 a year in dividends. Back in 2014, I only earned $21 in dividends.
Melissa Elise Robinson is the licensed advisor I use and i'm just putting this out here because you asked. You can Just search the name. You’d find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment.
Thanks for sharing. I curiously searched for her full name and her website popped up immediately. I looked through her credentials and did my due diligence before contacting her.
True but SCHD allows you to sleep at night not worrying about a large decrease. The gains will be higher with the S & P 500 but so will the losses in bad years.

Can you share details of your advisor? I want to invest my increased cash flow in stocks and alternative assets to achieve financial goals.

Wow, that's an impressive number! Congrats on hitting that milestone!
In the last 2 yrs. SP 500 has done twice of what SCHD has done

You're absolutely right! It's interesting to see how different investments perform over time. The SP 500 has certainly had a strong run lately.
The fact you made this comment indicates you have no clue OP
