Been tinning for 20 years and he is right about everything. Especially the yellow snips lol. We use the term yellow snips for code or talk about them to alert other tinners to a possible safety guy or someone that may be a threat to our area. For example.. “has anyone seen my yellow snips?” Would mean to “look out!”there is potential hazard on the roof… That’s how absurd it would be to show up w a pair for work. It’s a clear indication you’re in no way an actual tinner!
All the proper tools listed, however I must say a bit more explanation of each tools function and in various applications would be helpful to aspiring craftsmen in the trade. Cheers
Completely agree....getting the proper message across can be challenging in video I find...but I get a little bit better with every video...I appreciate your feedback and take it very seriously
Yeah that's true although most people don't really trust its square after awhile and you just lay it out and connect the lines with the ruler , also you can make a line linear ways 1" or whatever from a point instead of finding a straight edge and tracing
Thank you we try and be as accurate as possible... have you checked out our most viewed video on the channel yet? ua-cam.com/video/1EqiCsLXl_A/v-deo.html
I would have to say I don't allow impact drills on my jobs. they are too easy to overtighten and cause deflection thought he panel... causing oilcanning. Always use a drill with a clutch to eliminate overtightening.

I noticed number 4 you use a speed square curious why you prefer them over a combo square?
A Combination can become loose over time and go out of square...and a speed square 45 is more accurate as well....just my preference over time

Great point... Impacts are made to drive that thing in with force!
You said that you should get a straight claw hammer, but you have a curved one,. What's the deal?
straight = slightly curved, curved = really curved ... i know, i know... super clear and easy to understand
Toss that flat head and get yourself a decent tack puller brother. It offers a hair more versatility. We call it Mr. Handy Dandy. Cheers from #33
Thanks for tip
Only thing your missing is stubai pelican snips. Game changer for straight long cuts.
Not really for beginners though
@@asm101 yah that's true enough.l
