I am in the middle of building an overland rig & I watch a lot of overlanding/travel videos. This is the best video I have ever seen, with a large margin. The production is cinema quality, the landscape was breathtaking, & the vibe of the group warmed my heart & made me wish I was there.

Great video! I think I speak for a lot of people when I say we are living vicariously through you guys right now. I am an ER nurse who is constantly exposed and cannot travel anywhere without feeling guilty at any unseen damage I may be causing. So I mostly stay home and watch traveling videos like this one. Its been a long year and I am hoping this vaccine is super effective so we can all return to traveling without fear of collateral damage. Keep smiling and keep having fun! It is what we are fighting for :)

How can you ever know what this means to me ? Watching you appreciate and experience my beloved Utah??? I grew up in So. Calif with a family who went to Utah every single summer, to visit extended family. We never went to the National Parks ... I have never been to the parts of Utah that my soul is desperate to experience. I watched every second of your JMT and it filled me up !!! 2020 derailed 5 trips for us. Awesome episode guys, absolutely gorgeous footage in the beginning! Just pulled the trigger on an A6400 and a good lens/gimbal to step up my game a bit, super stoked and thank you for the intel! Not sure when you guys are shooting to drive up to Alaska, but I'll be driving down mid-April for some whitewater kayaking in Cali/Overland Expo West, then driving back to Alaska immediately after Overland Expo West.... if you guys make it up here for Memorial Day weekend, you should totally come party and dance it up with us at the Trapper Creek Bluegrass Festival (near Talkeetna, AK) :)

The drone footage really brings the environment in which you're travelling into its full magnificence.

Nearby, looking over the San Rafael Swell as you're heading up to SLC there's a lookout/rest stop that talks about how it was "The land nobody wanted" for the first mormon colonizers. I think these days many of us, and many of those who inhabited it prior to their arrival, would disagree!

I would love to see a little more detail about where you are in these videos. I'm not talking about precise GPS coordinates, but generally on a map where you are so we can learn about which parts of which states you're in for our own education about future travel. Owen is our drone pilot and I drive any time we are getting areal shots. He has a steady hand for it!
