pros - great venue - great facilities - great people Cons - parking was a shit show - 40k people down a dodgy single country lane? - way too many people towards the end... (prices to be expected) Yea it was fucking hot :D
Good vid, awesome to see acts that we didn't see, other than some Wargasm as we were between act. We were lucky we didn't drive and wasn't in a rush to get in early. First act we wanted to see was at 2pm. So we got the train up and endured an effortless long walk from the station. I can't compare to previous years but we was lucky all the acts we wanted to see were on the same stage. Only one issue with queuing was for drinks once so we double parked. It just had to be timed right to avoid long queues. Toilet queuing wasn't too bad but for water? Yeah no chance. They needed more stations. Especially in that heat. Lack of softdrink options was a bit crap for my wife, but beer options was OK. Food, expensive, but at least it was decent, again, timed right we didn't need to queue for long. Generally people and the atmosphere were great. Bands were awesome, though The Offspring underwhelmed a bit. Leaving was absolute nightmare. There needed to be more exits and more routes out. Plus being super dark in places wasn't fun. I can't make a case for capacity but many have said there was too many people. I guess I kinda felt crowded especially at the end when everyone was split between the two main stages.
Thank you! 😊 Yeah, definitely had to time it all right with any of the queues. Just before PVRIS we joined the long queue to refill on water, and tbf that queue did actually go quick, but I agree there should have been more stations for water. Yeah, I was expecting the food prices to be expensive. Like, it's crazy, but it's just how it is. We actually seemed to get really lucky with getting out of the carpark. I've seen loads of people had trouble, but we got out no problem at all, which was nice obviously compared to our 4 hours trying to get in 😅 But yeah, I can imagine trying to walk out of there while it was dark too was tricky 😬 It was very very noticeably busier than previous years for me (of course it was sold out though, so I guess it makes sense) but I didn't find it too much trouble with the amount of people while I was in there, just the getting into the site was disastrous 😅
Biggest con was the sound for Underoath, absolutely tragic.....and yeah the getting in and out by car was busted, took us over 6 hrs each way to and from Bristol :(. So many pros but Yellowcard was the highlight of the day for sure!

Daaamn, yeah that's really rough 😬😩 But I'm glad you still managed to find some pros and enjoyed Yellowcard!
We had the same issues at SDF North. Took around 4 hours of queuing to get in
Oh wow, they definitely didn't do very well to correct the issues they had in the south then 😅
Thanks for letting me feel like I was there!
You are absolutely welcome!
