Knowing Rockstar really well with their ideas, all these horses are supposed to be released exclusively in RDO in upcoming passes and updates. They never released them when they saw the RDO doesn't give them much profit as GTAO. RDO is far more grindier than GTAO. They did same with vehicles and other stuffs in GTAO releasing them later (like Hydra and Hunter etc when in source codename files remained the sounds and info). In Enhanced Edition they just brought back cut vehicles from PS3/X360 like Stallion and Dukes on streets. Same with animals.
Thats one of the things i hate about the game, I rather ride a normal horse with low stats then ride a small one, that looks like you riding a pony, I looked up all the small breeds in real life, they are not small horses
Honestly wish there was more grulla coats in the game. It's such a pretty coat color, but I think it's only on the mustang in the base game. A shame they deleted so many pretty variations though.
Because of the color confusion I will try to explain the difference between Albino and Cremello. There is the "Cream Gene" which is a color dilution for red hair. If a horse carries one of these it will be Palomino instead of Chestnut, Buckskin instead of Bay and Smokey Black instead of Black (here you might not see any difference because the dilution is for red and not black hair, that is also the reason why a Bucksin has black mane, tail and legs). If a horse carries two of these Cream Genes the black hair will also be affected and it will be Cremello instead of Chestnut, Perlino instead of Bay and Smokey Cream instead of Black. All three have blue eyes and are very similar. You might not really see the difference but the Cremello is everywhere snow white. The Perlino is white with slightly darker maybe orangish mane, tail and legs. The Smokey Cream is everywhere white, too, but it is a slightly darker "off-white". So the Cream Gene is well known, you can breed with it and calculate the colors a foal will have (e.g. if the parents are a Chestnut and a Cremello it will always give birth to a Palomino foal). Albino is not a specific gene but a random mutation and therefore not breedable. They have unpigmented reddish eyes and there is no documented existing albino horse until today.
Y'all showed but missed talking about the liver chestnut Hungarian half-bred. It's listed on the RDR2 wiki as "unobtainable." There are three playable coats: piebald tobiano, flaxen chestnut, and dapple dark gray.
There’s another beaut horse, Liver Chestnut Hungarian Half-Bred, it is actually Arthur’s Signature Horse, Boadicea. It is fully developed if I remember and it’s in the files.
Kinda wish they added more of the old breeds from rdr1 and I so wish they gave us the options of owning donkeys and mules and more variations for them 😢

Other than the fact that the Arabian horse has fast acceleration, it actually sucks. It's shit in battle, it's scared of all predators and has difficult handling. The only good thing is it's fast, but I can get that with a MFT and they're great all round for everything
I'm 4 months late, but the reason that the albino turkoman doesn't have red eyes like albinos should is because the mod creator has actually taken dutch's horse (from the main story of RDR2) named "the count" and slapped it in the mod and has called it the albino turkoman. So, technically, this horse isn't even a deleted horse and the mod creator has lied to you.

That "albino" horse is a cremello or similar! There's multiple real coat colors, double dilutions mostly, that cause horses to look nearly completely white with ice blue eyes.
it even looks like the amber champagne missouri foxtrotter is what is being shown in the video. The messy mane that flops over the eyes is what the foxtrotter natural mane looks like in the game.
Thought for certain the Black Snowflake Appaloosa would have been one of them, at least I think someone had mentioned that's where it came from. But I do wish that they'd added more coats to some of the horses who only got like 3 or 4. I really want a Black FoxTrotter that looks similar to the Black Arab or Turk, and a Black Nokota and more coats and patterns for the Paints and Appys

I’ve finally 100%-ed this bloody game a couple of days ago, but I gotta say that Turkoman (especially the dark bay coat) has always been my favourite. But when you described more coats, I died. The three just aren’t enough, man. No fair.
i wouldve loved the black coats to be left in. i was stoked about the black standardbred when it got added(though i sold the one i had bc it was too fussy). i also still think its annoying they got rid of the black shire outside of the one you get in the mission--when it first came out you could still go get another off the carriages. the chestnut and black one wouldve also been amazing in game, and definitely looks more based on chimeric, though i did used to know a thoroughbred who was liver chestnut and had a normal chestnut patch over a large area and there was a name for that kind of marking but i cant think of it now. kind of like a blood mark but not.

The camel was said to be a deleted part from a lochness monster side mission or random encounter, I forget, but they have a youtuber known as strangeman who went over deleted things and a camel was mentioned!

In real life, brindle isn't a thing in horses as it isn't genetic. Meaning that if the father and mother have the 'brindle' markings, the chances of the foal coming out as 'brindle' do not increase, as it's not an actual coat pattern. Rather it's called a 'skewed' coat, i believe.
The bay kentucky saddler should've been added to the base game. The Chestnut variant is not as common, and yet that gets added to the game, which I find to be odd

The American Standardbred you're talking about is the BUCKSKIN one while i'm talking about the BUTTERMILK Buckskin. You can notice the difference since the Buttermilk Buckskin Kentucky Saddler's coat is a hundred times lighter than the BUCKSKIN American Standardbred. You can watch a video about every horse in Rdr2 if you don't believe me because i guarantee you i'm 100% right. If you just look at the shape of the head, you'll see the difference. An American Standardbred has a standard flat forehead while the Kentucky Saddler has a noticeable protrusion on the face. Also, i never said the American Standardbred is the Kentucky Saddler, i just said she put a Kentucky Saddler among the Standardbreds.

I would absolutely kill for that light buckskin coat on the mustang, or even the palomino. That bay Dutch Warmblood is gorgeous, its a classic. And it would have looked darn good with Arthur. Seriously tho, i would hand Rockstar $50 USD for that light buckskin but on the mustang, today. How do they not understand unlimited horses and occasional breed/coat adds or customizations would be an easy slam dunk? Plus masks, naturally. 😉

You are only at risk of getting banned if you use mods online - I personally only use them in singleplayer. I also unfortunately don't ride, it's rather expensive in Australia and I can't afford it 😅
@@JustAnotherPixel Oh, so you are applying the mods to "Story Mode"? I will have to look into that. Here is the USA it can be somewhat affordable to own a horse and ride. In fact getting the horse is the easy part. It's feed, ferrier, vet bills etc.. that can add up.
singeplayer only! I know some people do online but that does risk being banned. The female model is also a mod! I used a tutorial by Abigail Pinehaven! I have Rampage which you can do it on, but also Lennys Simple Trainer and also an Outfit mod!
Both Red Dead Redemption video games are awesome, especially when it comes to the graphics of the horses. I haven't played Red Dead Redemption 2 much at all but have watched numerous UA-cam videos of it. I don't understand the stats of some of the horses, especially the Arabian horse. I believe the stats are over rated on the Arabian Horse versus the Mustang and the Thoroughbred Horses. It also shocks me as why Red Dead Redemption 2 doesn't have any Quarter Horses as they were the most common horses in the wild west era versus the Arabian Horse and the Turkumon Horse.
I actually made a video recently on Quarter Horses! There was a mod created for them and I did some research. I think technically Quarter Horses weren't registered horses back then, but that didn't stop them adding the Turkoman I think it is which was technically I think a retired horse breed during the era of RDR2 as well 😅 I also don't really look at the stats I just ride pretty horses...
hmm it was just in the list of Arabians in my Rampage. When filming the arabian vanilla game colours I didn't have any extra horses installed. The Red Dead Wiki says it's an online exclusive so maybe that's the case, and it can only be accessed because I spawned them in through Rampage
I think it's regarded as the 'best' horse to obtain - especially since you have to get it in the wild. I personally have never looked or cared for my stats haha. This is all based on singleplayer, I don't play online so idk if it's less popular there!
@@JustAnotherPixel there is easy trick how to catch arabian in the wild- 2 rifle shots will make him bleeding and weak. Then quickly jump on him, tame, pet and feed :-) but u need to be quick otherwise he will die. U talking to rdr expert xD
First off, something that bugs me is that what they call a chestnut in the Arabian breed is a bay. Bay horses have black points. Chestnuts don't. I'm glad they cut the wild bay from the Arabian because it wouldn't have made sense. "Wild" bay is a more primitive coloring which would not exist in an extensively bred breed like Arabians. Secondly, I wish there had been more variations of the nokota, something other than roan. An entire breed made up of roans? Not likely. Also, I wish there had been more diversity in the appaloosa colors. Three of the four we have access to buy/tame are all the same shade of reddish-brown despite the different coat patterns. 😫
@@hellcat1401 The fact that they're one of the oldest breeds makes my point. They are farther from primitive coloring/patterns than most other horses, and there are very few breeds which retain primitive coloring to the extent where they're commonly seen with them.

Hungarian Half-Bred doesn't even exist! The closest breed in nature is the Nonius, so I don't know why they didn't go with that.

I wish they'd release a big update where everything from Online is available in campaign, since they basically gave up on the online portion.

The albino Turkoman was probably going to be Dutch's horse, but they changed it to an Arabian because Hosea's "Silver Dollar" is also a Turkoman.

In real life, brindle isn't a thing in horses as it isn't genetic. Meaning that if the father and mother have the 'brindle' markings, the chances of the foal coming out as 'brindle' do not increase, as it's not an actual coat pattern. Rather it's called a 'skewed' coat, i believe.

The bay kentucky saddler should've been added to the base game. The Chestnut variant is not as common, and yet that gets added to the game, which I find to be odd

Umm.....thats not true because the buttermilk buckskin is not a Kentucky saddler it really is a american standerdbred because a Kentucky saddler is slower than a american standardbred so thats not true that a american standerbred is a Kentucky saddler and I know because ive been playing red dead redemption 2 for 5 years

The American Standardbred you're talking about is the BUCKSKIN one while i'm talking about the BUTTERMILK Buckskin.
You can notice the difference since the Buttermilk Buckskin Kentucky Saddler's coat is a hundred times lighter than the BUCKSKIN American Standardbred.
You can watch a video about every horse in Rdr2 if you don't believe me because i guarantee you i'm 100% right.
If you just look at the shape of the head, you'll see the difference.
An American Standardbred has a standard flat forehead while the Kentucky Saddler has a noticeable protrusion on the face.
Also, i never said the American Standardbred is the Kentucky Saddler, i just said she put a Kentucky Saddler among the Standardbreds.

I don't understand why they decide not to put more horses. I mean, more colors of horses the better (at least for me). I don't care if there are many black horses, white, bay, etc. Maybe if they put the same colors on a lot of horses that is good, no? Maybe I don't like a black Shire, but I'd like a black Mustang, the thing is the color, I like the color but not the horse, maybe! I dunno if you understand. I hope so!
They also need more stable space. I wanna own more than 4 in single player.

I would absolutely kill for that light buckskin coat on the mustang, or even the palomino. That bay Dutch Warmblood is gorgeous, its a classic. And it would have looked darn good with Arthur.
Seriously tho, i would hand Rockstar $50 USD for that light buckskin but on the mustang, today. How do they not understand unlimited horses and occasional breed/coat adds or customizations would be an easy slam dunk?

You are only at risk of getting banned if you use mods online - I personally only use them in singleplayer. I also unfortunately don't ride, it's rather expensive in Australia and I can't afford it 😅

Here is the USA it can be somewhat affordable to own a horse and ride. In fact getting the horse is the easy part. It's feed, ferrier, vet bills etc.. that can add up.

singeplayer only! I know some people do online but that does risk being banned. The female model is also a mod! I used a tutorial by Abigail Pinehaven! I have Rampage which you can do it on, but also Lennys Simple Trainer and also an Outfit mod!
Both Red Dead Redemption video games are awesome, especially when it comes to the graphics of the horses. I haven't played Red Dead Redemption 2 much at all but have watched numerous UA-cam videos of it. I don't understand the stats of some of the horses, especially the Arabian horse. I believe the stats are over rated on the Arabian Horse versus the Mustang and the Thoroughbred Horses. It also shocks me as why Red Dead Redemption 2 doesn't have any Quarter Horses as they were the most common horses in the wild west era versus the Arabian Horse and the Turkumon Horse.
I actually made a video recently on Quarter Horses! There was a mod created for them and I did some research. I think technically Quarter Horses weren't registered horses back then, but that didn't stop them adding the Turkoman I think it is which was technically I think a retired horse breed during the era of RDR2 as well 😅 I also don't really look at the stats I just ride pretty horses...

hmm it was just in the list of Arabians in my Rampage. When filming the arabian vanilla game colours I didn't have any extra horses installed. The Red Dead Wiki says it's an online exclusive so maybe that's the case, and it can only be accessed because I spawned them in through Rampage

I think it's regarded as the 'best' horse to obtain - especially since you have to get it in the wild. I personally have never looked or cared for my stats haha. This is all based on singleplayer, I don't play online so idk if it's less popular there!
@@JustAnotherPixel there is easy trick how to catch arabian in the wild- 2 rifle shots will make him bleeding and weak. Then quickly jump on him, tame, pet and feed :-) but u need to be quick otherwise he will die. U talking to rdr expert xD

First off, something that bugs me is that what they call a chestnut in the Arabian breed is a bay. Bay horses have black points. Chestnuts don't. I'm glad they cut the wild bay from the Arabian because it wouldn't have made sense. "Wild" bay is a more primitive coloring which would not exist in an extensively bred breed like Arabians.
Secondly, I wish there had been more variations of the nokota, something other than roan. An entire breed made up of roans? Not likely. Also, I wish there had been more diversity in the appaloosa colors. Three of the four we have access to buy/tame are all the same shade of reddish-brown despite the different coat patterns. 😫
Before the Arabian was overbred with the deep dish face they had various colors being from the Middle East and all. They're one of the oldest breeds.
@@hellcat1401 The fact that they're one of the oldest breeds makes my point. They are farther from primitive coloring/patterns than most other horses, and there are very few breeds which retain primitive coloring to the extent where they're commonly seen with them.
