Greetings all and thank you for watching the video! I want to point out that the Z Fold SE, as it's properly titled, does come with 512GB of storage, not the 256GB mentioned in the video. Thank you for all your support!
I definitely know what you mean, I was hooked right away from that external screen. Overall, the phone is top-notch and everything about it. Thank you for tuning in to the channel and for your comment. I appreciate your support. 👍
Not at all. I'm ready for this phone to easily surpass all the competition. Thank you for tuning into the channel and commenting. I appreciate your support 👍
I currently have the Google 9 Pro Fold as my daily driver while my Z Fold 6 is collecting dust (gonna use to as a trade in for my next foldable) and I feel the One Plus Open 2 is gonna be my next choice! I'll be curious to see how it stacks up to the Pixel in terms of camera quality, speed, battery life, and the quality of the inner/outer displays
I completely understand that. Don't be surprised if they don't offer a trade-in for the Z Fold 6. Typically they don't put the most recent competitors' phones as an option. Probably because it would be insulting what they're willing to pay. You might get more selling it privately. Hopefully I'm just blowing smoke and that won't be the case. Thank you for tuning in to the channel and I appreciate your comment and support. 👍
Keep up the good work, Sir! PS. First, thanks for fixing the mic quality! There isn't any mic clipping anymore. I know it wasn't easy to find a good BT mic. I appreciate your effort on that! Second, I'm just pointing out to you to please do some more in-depth research on the phones, preferably from the original source (OEM) so that you do not make some blunders that may undervalue your great work. Here are some facts below: 1. It's called the Z Fold SE (Special Edition), not the Fold 6 SE. It doesn't matter what others are mistakenly calling it. 2. The Z Fold SE comes in only one storage variant, which is 512GB. Even in China, it has the same storage capacity, where it is released by the name of Z Fold W25, where it has different materials (ceramic back) and special color (reflective back with golden sides). Thanks! I'll be looking forward to more of your reviews!
I do appreciate your input and thank you for spending the time to post your thoughts. Most of what I do is based on the perception of the viewers. In order to get the video out, the most popular keywords must be used for it to resonate with viewers and their search terms. If you noticed in the video I said let's just call it the Z Fold SE. I hope you can understand and appreciate where I'm coming from. In order to succeed, viewers must be pulled in with the UA-cam algorithm, otherwise I'm just wasting time and not benefiting anyone. That said, I'm always learning and counting on viewers like yourself to keep me on track. I end every video asking for input and I truly enjoy it. My wife says it's because I like to ramble. 🤣 Thank you for being part of the community, I appreciate you? 🙏
I don't officially know. There is however pen support for the Oppo Find N3 which is the same phone. Oppo sells a pen, I've just never tried it. Great question! 👍
LOL, it's hard not to see it. It will be the fastest performing phone if it releases before the "S" series phones. Most importantly, the best hardware in any foldable. Thanks for watching and commenting, I appreciate your support 👍
You and me both, my friend. I compared it to the Z Fold 6 SE. However, I don't believe that phone is much different than the standard Z Fold 6. So yes, the OnePlus Open Generation 2 is going to fly past that one. Thank you for tuning into the channel and I appreciate your comments and support! 👍
Thank you for noticing. When you browse around and look for it, even all the news sites call it the Z Fold 6 SE. Thanks for tuning in to the channel and for your comment. I appreciate your support. 👍
You know what, I almost forgot to mention that in the video, but I did cover that towards the end. The rumor is they're going to release it in the first quarter of 2025, which means somewhere between January and March. I do hope that's the case. Thank you for watching and I appreciate your question. 👍
Well, let's just hope that at least half of those rumors are true. I don't mention them unless I find them from at least three sources. That way I feel a little more confident in talking about them. Thank you for tuning in. Once again, I appreciate your support! 👍
I totally agree with you. I really enjoyed the Canvas. I didn't really experience any issues with the OS myself. I actually feel it runs a lot faster than the OS on the other folds. I do hope this update comes with more features like what the Z Fold series has. That said, I do appreciate it's not full of bloatware. Thank you for tuning in to the channel. I appreciate your comments and support 👍
You and me both, my friend. I believe it's going to be a real game-changer and force everyone else to change their games. I love the competition. Thanks for watching and commenting. I appreciate your support. 👍
I'm happy to see the foldable market in the U.S. heating up. My hope is that Samsung responds accordingly for the next Z-Fold version coming in 2025. I'm already very happy with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, so moving to another ecosystem is not something I'd prefer to do with OnePlus. Of course, if the next OnePlus Open is really this amazing, I might have to rethink that preference.
I know it really is getting difficult these days to pick pick one as the best foldable. I'm sure Samsung is going to try their hand at toppling the OnePlus Open in their next release. We'll see what happens in the summer. 👍
Great you answered all my questions. Its tempting to get the opo with the current sales and then trade. I want Samsung, but I don't think they're going to have a phone. That's a competitor out in time, and i'm not clear on what the fold seven is gonna be anyway. Foldable phones are the only group.Where I understand the desire to be thinner.
I'm glad I can clarify things, even if just a little bit. Remember, they still are just leaks and rumors. That said, I do make sure to get it from at least three sources before I mention it, which gives me more confidence in doing so. It is a big decision and a big expense, so take your time to consider. It is always wise. Thank you once again for tuning in and commenting on the video. I really appreciate you. 👍
@GOTgoodoldtech-1964 oh I had another question. On the oneplus site, they show a crimson red phone.Do you think that's the apex? Oneplus didn't come out with a red color that wasn't the apex, did they? It's about $200 more and I know the apex cost more. I was just curious what you thought.I can always drop them a line.
This is great news i love my oneplus open everything about it is fantastic i even like the software better than Samsungs i love how OnePlus actually listens to there customers unlike Samsung
Mr. G.O.T., Great video, short, concise and to the point. I have the OnePlus open (no issues) and I simply love it. You answered my one question about "trade in" value and thats a fair price, hopefully they keep it at the price you mentioned. I agree with you on wireless charging vs 67 watt charging, I'll take fast charging anyday. Question - will the OnePlus open 2 have stylus support and will they make the stylus more accessible? On a side note, any word on your oneplus open you just sent in? Thank you and have a blessed weekend!
Secretly, I'm hoping they bump up the trade-in value just a little bit more to help encourage us to upgrade. Thanks for tuning in. I appreciate your comments and support. 👍
@MrCougar56 I think that would be a shock if they dropped the stylus support.Because oppo seems to have a pen out. It's so amazing that they support the stylus on the front screen and the interior screen.
@MrCougar56 it would also be great to know if they have identified what's causing their screen failures and addressed it in the version two. I realize we'll never know, but I think of these things 🤣
@dorothy135 Great call out on that. I knew that but I had forgotten that they do support both the internal and external screen with their pen. I'm going to have to make sure to mention that in one of my videos. Thanks for bringing that up. 👍
@GOTgoodoldtech-1964 you're welcome. I first learned about that by watching matthew moniz. He has a short out and in it, he shows the pen. The charging holder, how it works on both screens and even shows the settings inside one plus regarding the stylus. I don't think I can link it here, but if you search under his name and oppo stylus, you'll find it
I believe you're correct on that. The confusion is when you search for it, everyone calls it the Z Fold 6 SE on all the news articles. That's something Samsung's just going to have to live with for a bit until people get used to the different name. Maybe if it ends up releasing globally, people will start referring to it that way. Thank you for pointing that out. I appreciate you watching the video and commenting. 👍
I can't do One Plus their durability on the Inter screen not I was at I Fix it a couple months ago they didn't cover the inter screen when it failed on a customer he had to pay 1100 to replace it.
That sounds like a really steep price to repair a OnePlus Open. That would actually be the price of a new one on sale somewhere else like eBay. Something just doesn't make sense there. Was the issue with the screen accidental damage from a drop? Were there any other signs that would be suspicious of accidental damage? I found it's always best to get additional insurance just in case there is accidental damage. I have my third one that's being repaired and it's not costing me anything. Sorry to hear about that experience, it just doesn't sound right. Thank you for tuning in to the channel and for sharing.
@@GOTgoodoldtech-1964 I agree - Not sure why screen would not be covered if within a year. If past a year and no insurance, then I Fix's prices may be 1100. Then just buy a new one.
