Going to see Neil at the end of tour, when he comes back to California, Hollywood Bowl. My daughter has became a huge new fan. We both can't wait to see him, we missed out last year.
I love this because I saw him in 1978 (Rust Never Sleeps tour) and these ARE THE SAME PROPS!! The oversized amps, that weird bird-like thing the keyboard comes down on from the girders up high.! So I see Billy is still there, thank God! Who took over for Frank and Ralph?
Ralph was killing it on the drums. Hell Billy & he are 80 & still bringing it strong. Micah does an excellent job also. And NEIL needs no words. He IS & WILL ALWAYS BE THE ULTIMATE. BAR NONE.
Thank you for posting this. I was real close to where you were standing, and this performance of this song is one of the highlights of my concert-going life. Pretty sure that's my 'yeah!' at the very end of this video.
It was my 1st time for Neil & the horse. He just gave it a pratice run & swapped up Down By the River because I begged him to play it for me next at Atlanta. Fuck, DID HE EVER DELIVER. FEED MY SOUL. Waited 61 years. If ever again MY ASS WILL BE UP FRONT AS CLOSE AS I CAN FUCKING GET to NEIL & OLE BLACK.
I do very much appreciate NY&CH as Neil often does a few acoustic tunes. When he plays acoustic (Pure Neil!) he usually does not play electric. So, here you get the best of both worlds!
@@martyc2637 -I first saw Neil in '78 with Crazy Horse at MSG. He played acoustic then as well. Nothing wrong with a few acoustic tunes during a CH show in my book.
This song (and a lot more Neil Young) is in my blood.

Watching Neil Young from 2 years in the future is WILD! Thanks for the video.
Now my comment looks dumb because the date got corrected...:)
Thank you Mark. I corrected that as a result of your post! -Chris
Fantastic! Thanks very much.
I was there. Great show! 👍

ralph is still the band… frank is currently being replaced by micah nelson but typically nils lofgren of the e street band sits in instead

Poncho has retired to Hawaii. Molina is still on drums.
@@derrellthomas239 Thx👍
@@kendallevans4079 Forgot......Michah Nelson (Wiillie's son) took over for Poncho. 😁👍

❤ Cool.
Still Rockin 2024
Is he playing piano?
Micah Nelson is playing a keyboard. Neil is on Electric guitar.

Neil Young on acoustic guitar is very good. However, his talent is washed out by all of his loud and distorted electric guitar.

Uh no.
This is Crazy Horse my friend not Cat Stevens.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Neil still rocks. He's playing with Crazy Horse not little ponies.
