I love how Ren frequently drops to his knees when either Romaine or Gorran take the lead, giving the audience better visual access to them. That's one hell of a band mate and performer.

Romaine and his style sense is just adorable - obviously there was a distinct energy with the whole band but Romaine and Ren just seem to have this great synergy!

It is the Nina Simone song in there. Trouble So Hard is a Vera Hall song. Wade in the Water was an old spiritual song dating back to American slavery. A number of famous artists have covered it, usually with a big band behind them. It is quite possible that Nina performed it at some point, but it is not a song really associated with her.

Apparently there are sevetal reasons they stopped, but Ren did leave for Canada shortly after ro begin 18 months of daily treatment for brain damage and autoimmunity. Last performance eas Sept 2022 and Ren left aroynd the begining of 2023.

This is a band with 3 lead singers; Gorran, Romain (who is French, which probably accounts for his style) and Ren. Glenn who plays the drums is also a plays the bass; but, not with The Big Push. Romain and Ren were flat mates and, I believe Gorran was also a flat mate. Soooo much chemistry between them. I wish they were still together. Enjoyed your reaction DJ. More please!

They broke up when Ren had to go to Calgary Canada for treatment in January 2023
He only came back at the beginning of July after 18 months of iv and other treatments
Romain performed with Ren Saturday night at the Secret Garden Party Festival last weekend of July in the UK
Ren is moving to California in September for more music!

Great reaction, there is so much more to The Big Push than Aar Pigs ans I Shot The Sherif, that a lot of reactors do, they are still good but there is so much more. I think next should be Peaise You the Fatboy Slim cover it is pretty original
"Feeling Good" is by Nina Simone. "Wade in the Water" is an African American jubilee song, a spiritual (i.e. music created/sung by African Americans in slavery). Like most folk music, the lyrics have varied over the last 150 years, depending on the performer. I'm so curious as to how you or Ren are familiar with it.
Sexy bass? Look at their performance of "Paint it black" from the "red suspenders session".
