This is unironically one of the better IC2 tutorials I've seen, it tells you what you need to do in a short, fun cartoon, rather than some guy spoonfeeding you everything you need to do in 100+ episodes
I just hope you don't include the gregtech stuff, unless you want to accumulate more animations than the entire pixar library

I don't know those chest don't seem normal. maybe it's because of FOV or something.
Uh, it is a bit normal, from cursed images videos it might make you think that way.
You could, in theory, build 2 small chests next to eachother in a certain way, by putting 2 double chests next to eachother, then remove the opposite sides of those chests. In some versions however, you wont be able to put double chests near eachother.
