- Dome Kwabenya MP, Sarah Adwoa Safo failed to appear before the Privileges Committee on a Zoom link that was provided to her to join proceedings.
The committee also failed to take a firm decision on her conduct and that of the other two MPs who honoured the summons to appear before the committee.
It is unclear what will be the fate of Adwoa Safo after the latest action not to appear before the committee after being offered the chance on a number of occasions.

It's not that she wields so much power, I believe it's that if they unseat her, there has to be a re-election and they know they might lose that election and as such the opposition will now be the majority in parliament. That being said, to refuse, as an MP, to appear before the committee is tantamount to disregarding and disrespecting the entire nation represented by the parliament on whose behalf the committee is acting.
