Not in general, as they have won many awards, but yes, that was the moment we were all waiting for, and we did it, ✊ it's also because this time SM promoted them as a k-pop group, that's why there are many korean fans voted for the song too. In my opinion, they are underrated in many countries. Although they are still pretty popular in China, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, Vietnam, the Philippines, and many more, but they still aren't getting the worldwide recognition they deserve. Ten is the only member who has a pretty massive following, but most of his fans are solo stans. Not saying it's wrong or anything, but the group is still kinda underrated. I really want to say this in My true opinion they're underrated because they're Chinese boy group 😭 c-pop is not popular as k-pop. I'm surprised that they're not that unpopular compare to other Chinese groups. This time they win because the title track was in korean. I believe if they continue to make music in korean like this or converted into a k-pop group from now on they'll be the most popular in no time. I know that's their identity as a Chinese sub unit of NCT but it's not helping them getting recognition they deserves that all I want to say.

Koreans have said (in forums) they'll keep BTS on top as long as poss bc they're all Korean😐, both make catchy music BUT truthfully, GOT7 have better vocal &, dance skills + each member has a unique vocal tone
