The third tone with that baritone guitar literally sent shivers down my spine.
That first tone was worth the price of admission alone.

Great video again Rabea! All of the developments with the lunchbox heads over the last couple of years are seriously making me consider ditching my trusty Marshall combo for a head and 2x12
It's got a nice clean sound with slight bite. Might be a future purchase.
This amp sounds incredible. I`m into punk and emo music and I think this will work just perfect for of genre.
I do not play guitar, nor any instrument for that matter, still super fun to watch the videos you make. I like the level of thought going into explaining the devices, and how it sounds and playing some awesome riffs (riffs right? ..) anyhow, thanks!!

Crucially, as differentiates them from plexi amps, the Sheriffs have quite a bit of cascaded gain and a post phase inverter master volume control. Much of the sound of a cranked plexi comes from phase inverter overdrive, hence the aforementioned master volume control allows the phase inverter to be overdriven by the preamp regardless of the master volume setting.

went to a store yesterday, played this, the V40, the V30, the V40D and the BD1....i would buy the Sheriff 22, the V40 in a heart beat...V30 was ok....the V40D and BD1 were a huge disappointment though....i loved the clean channel on the V30, but the dirty channel i didnt like very much, good amp still....now, the Sheriff 22 and the "regular" V40 were simply AMAZING!
These amps are AMAZING!!! You have such an amazing tone with the strats!!!

I'd be interested in hearing your style of cleans, ambient sounds, and pushed tones on a VOX AC15/30. Could go either way, pure awesomeness or just not your cup of tea. In any way, an interesting experiment for sure.
Fyi....my Sher 22 sounds INCREDIBLE with BSM treble boosters in front of it....any of the BSM's that have a level control you can back off on work....the "full on all the time BSM's" are a bit much for it. The BSM TB's run with their levels around 1/3 to 1/2 up are magic....tight defined low-end, tight borderline "cocked wah" mids and smooth yet percussive thick top end....good stuff!!!

Thanks for doing this video! I'm interested in this head. I love the sound of the victory 44 from watching "That Pedal Show" , but 44 watts is probably too much for a stay-at-home player like me.

The third tone reminds me a lot of the the cleans on the last two Russian Circles albums - Memorial and Guidance.
I'm not typically a fan of fuzz pedals, but you always make them sound great. Need to get me a Green Carrot Pedal...

I mainly play my PRS and I’m fighting with the darker, muddier sounds that it produces which I’m surrendering to the fact that this is simply the characteristics of the guitar but it’s driving me crazy!!

Would you say that the 44 would get the same tones, just more volume? Or does the extra headroom change things too much?
I would love to test out a Kraken, but there's almost nowhere in the States to test drive one sadly.

Even though the sherriff is built second farthest from the sort of music I play of all the victory amps (I hope that made sense, didn't really know how to word it) it is without a doubt my favourite

Could you do a video comparing 1x12 2x12 and 4x12 cabs? I've decided I'm gunna get a kraken but I don't know what can I should go for, 4x12s are huge but a lot of people swear by them.
2x12 is a great compromise
Omg i just woke up from a really weird but nice turning dream: i was at a really lame party with almost all my friends and i somehow lost all of them...but then i looked around seeing you standing behind a bar and i couldn't believe it. I asked: r u really rebea massad?! And u said yes and came around the bar to me and than my fucking alarmclock rang :'(. I tried out this amp pretty extensively because I'm considering buying it. So I went to my guitar shop with my Strat (Fender MEX 60s Classic Player Strat) and it sounds amazing, similar to Bea's Strat sound in this video. The other day I came back with my Gibson LP Traditional to see how that works out and I have to say I wasn't nearly as impressed. The sound was bloated, quite harsh and kind of 'farty' (if that word makes any sense), even when I took out a lot of bass...
So I don't know whether the amp was broken or if I did something wrong, but as for now, I'm LOVING it for Singlecoils, but for a Les Paul - I'm not that sure...
Not sure if I missed it in the video but what cab were you using? I have the Sherriff 44 and have the opportunity to get the Victory v212-VV cab second hand. It is not the recommended V212-VH however I'd assume it would still sound ok?

I love the tone you get from the strat where it’s slightly broken, I play a tele, and whenever I’ve seen you play a tele you always get the twang through; have you ever played a tele through a modern set up? Say your pedalboard and still retained some twang?
Hey rabea! I was curious if you found the treble on this amp a bit harsh. Most plexi type amps I play are usually very fizzy when cranked and have to sculpt the eq quite a bit to find that sweet spot. Just wondering if you had maybe experienced this! Thanks again and wonderful video!

Hey Bea, what string gauge and tuning do you run on the Strat? is it different to your other guitars?

Hey Bea! Typically im a Metal guy, but recently i got myself also in more blues and rock playing. I like the characteristics of the Sheriff more than the Kraken, but I still need great Metal tones. Is it possible to get some good Metal/High Gain tones out of it if I put a Maxon OD 808/ Tube Screamer or a distortion Pedal in front of it?

you can get them from riff city guitar outlet.
any pre 80's fender strat pick ups would get you a closer tone (rabea used fat 60's in this)

JKGuitar100 I have a Sheriff 44. Probably not. This amp isn’t made for clean, it’s made for Marshall style rock tones.
You need to add a fender amp to your collection.I reccomend the Fender Hot rod Deluxe and maybe even a VOX AC30 Then your life will be complete.

Does this amp take pedals well? I’m trying to decide between this and the v40. I want a really nice blues/rock tone, which one would also get me that heavier tone with pedals of course?
v40 is way better for pedals. 22 take pedals nicely on channel 1 but still not good as v40, which is litteraly made as pedal platform
I wonder what of the lunch box amps from Victory i can get a Jack white Vibe going on. Maybe it's all about the pedal i am using, but anyway i think either this or the kraken comes close. But i havnt heard the BD enough so i might not leave that out.
Is it just me, or when he rolled off the volume on the PRS, did it sound like he was playing something Opeth would've written around the Blackwater Park/Ghost Reveries era?
