Thank you!😊 That was like taking a trip w/a friend. Oh! I did!😉 I love all your fur babies but, "know" Purin the most. Love, light & blessings.❤ Stay safe.
The cluster of Islands that is Japan is just so remarkable. So many different terrains and seasons all in one place. We get the snowy north with Sharla and now the Pretty south with Mark! :)
HELLO Ur 🐱s look VERY WELL ADJUSTED U LOOK GREAT MARK && THANK U 4 THE WONDERFUL TOUR Can't wait 4 more videos MARK can U take us 2 where U eat or OVERALL Ur grocery store THANK U ❤
Walking alone when you live alone can be boring, it's natural you'll seek the company of your friends. But there's nothing better than walking around alone when you have family, kids, pets...all the noise and responsibilities😃 It's the peace you seek to relax and connect with yourself in such moments.
All the side streets reminded me of the scene in The Cat Returns when Haru was chasing Moota through the city. This is so beautiful, thanks for sharing this and now I'm going to watch The Cat Returns!
Hi Mark, thanks for the video! I love this type of video a lot! The music background was perfect plus I can still hear what’s going on around you while walking. Nice hidden paths you chose! I miss Japan a lot but specially these types of old towns and walk around the neighborhoods. It was so relaxing watching the video, I really enjoyed 💓💓💓💓. Hope to see more soon!
I always enjoy seeing the classic architecture that Japan has to offer. It's so different than what we have in North America. The walk looked peaceful. I'm glad you felt more comfortable!
I love videos like this, where you explore small lanes and little corners of a town away from the main tourist areas. The only thing I wish you had done more of is stop off in the cafes that you came across, and perhaps a ramen shop or two. ❤️🙏🏽
Maybe you should consider doing a livestream whilst walking around. I think that would be less lonely for you and even more fun for us 😊 Thanks for showing us around Mark. It was a very Zen experience
Nice relaxing video to view on a Sunday Morning. I honestly don't know why my parents (born and raised in Yamaguchi-ken) wanted to emigrate to the USA. I have aunties and cousins in Yamaguchi and Hiroshima. 元気でねー
Hey Mark, I really like your style! Not everbody manages to "walk" the camera around and produce a video that is interesting and that needs to be watched till the very end. Looking forward to much more from you!
Aww this means so much! Thank you! I'm getting a gimbal before I do another one though. So many crooked shots, I honestly wasn't happy with most of the shots I took.
@@PurinFriends I used to work in German television for many years, and I've learned: Much about "storytelling with moving pictures" has to do with the pace of the cuts/the story, as well as with the general "feel" of the optical narrative. And I think you're doing brilliantly in these categories!
Oh, wow. Hearing that from a pro really makes me feel better about this video 😅😅 thank you so much! I'm definitely taking people's advice and fitting them in where I can with my upcoming videos~
That was incredible. Finally got to watch the whole video, Mark.. please do more videos like this one. I know it feels simple but there’s soooo much joy for me to just watch a person walk their towns. It’s a way for me to travel when we can’t. You’re opening up the doors for us! Plus seeing actual ordering done in Japanese helps me for when I come visit too on what to expect. (So fast! I need to talk faster)
Yeah, I think when I'm filming alone in new areas, this is the style I'll be adopting! I'm taking everyone's input and considering it when I film next~
Awesome video. I imagine it took quite a lot of work so thank you for sharing it with us. I love content like this, it helps with not being able to travel at the moment!
what a magical little place, soo peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by lots of History and water..really nice tour, Thank you for taking us with you on this trip. Hope you and the kitties are doing well and adjusting to your new life, hopefully making some friends too!
Thanks for taking us around! Can't wait to see more. I couldn't help thinking Sharla has to find a reason to travel here too. She always has a great way of showing off different areas of Japan. Love seeing the cats, but always excited for whatever you want to share too.
Those yummy sweets! I want you and Sharla to try ALL of them. It always is amazing how clean the side streets are. Thanks for your post. (Purin looks very content!)💜🙏🏻
Nice music and sceneries, enjoyed it very much 🤗 ... until around 09:12, I started to have a bit of motion sickness 🤢 (while I was not in a car nor walking around, but just sitting in my room to watch your video).
Hopefully you get more comfortable doing more walks like this and sharing them with us 😊 loved seeing all of the beautiful Japanese architecture. Much love from Arizona ❤️❤️
Wow, it reminds me of those French coastal villages. Very different than other videos I've seen from Japan. I nearly lol when I saw the lone vending machine. It did feel a bit lonely but it was so interesting.
That was a cool shot of the island near the beginning, especially with the bird flying through the shot. Something I hadn't thought about seeing drone shots until now, having to dodge predators while flying them lol
Tomo no Ura was gorgeous! Thank you so much for spreading light on the beauty that is Fukuyama/Hiroshima! I'd definitely recommend checking out Onomichi if you get the chance :) Looking forward to seeing your upcoming videos!!
I went a few years ago and thanks for reminding me of that museum. It wasn't open when I went. The buses took a long time to get there, too. Nice drone shots! Did you get a new drone?
Oh, wow. So you've been! I hope more things are open next time haha. The drone I've had for a couple years now. Finally got some use out of it is all haha.
@@PurinFriends I forgot to say, I did the walk up to the top of the hill to a scenic viewpoint. I like walking up hills but from Sharla's videos I think you're not a huge fan. I had lunch at a nice cafe by docks which I'd go back to if it's still open.
Your town seems very lovely. Something I've noticed as I've watched footage of people walking around various towns in Japan on different UA-cam channels is that the walkways between houses always seem very narrow/tight compared to what I'm used to here in the U.S. It does make me wonder sometimes, if these buildings ever need exterior maintenance or people have large items delivered, things like that where you might expect the need for larger items to get into those spaces, what happens then? Some of the building doorways that you walked past, I was like... hopefully they never need to get any large furniture items delivered down that walkway or into that building door, lol. I'm glad "we" (as the camera) were able to keep your company on your adventures and make it maybe a little more fun that way ^_^
Ahahaha, I have no idea myself. I've never lived in places with narrow walkways, but I'm assuming parking where they can stop and carrying from there! I'm glad you enjoyed the tour~!
Nice drone footage. It looks lovely, plus it’s clean! Korean alleys aren’t clean. I’m craving a peaceful area. Incheon, Korea is becoming too much. I want a quiet town.

Poor Mark, no benches! 😭 I appreciate all the walking around you did, especially the stairs, since it’s really not your thing. ☺️
Now I wanna do a stream walking around the city looking for benches, sitting on them and giving them ratings 😂😂
Putting this down on my to do list.
