A look at a Sony ICF-SW30 receiver

Here's a quick look at a recent aquisition, the Sony ICF-SW30 multi band receiver. A basic, entry level portable receiver but non the less a wortwhile addition to my collection. Offering reasonable performance for a portable but lacking some important features such as different bandwidths, dial light and rotary tuning control and direct keypad frequency entry.
Still a worthy little radio.

If you open up the battery compartment, there is a switch in there to change the MW frequency steps between 9 kHz and 10 kHz, useful if traveling between north america and europe

Worldwide wonderful experience of Sony radios. as they have desire they're frequency. but why they stop to manufacture those brand ?
