Would love to see this ultimate adventure do the same concept but never touch pavement. Work their way across a few states by only using back roads and trails.
FORDboy357 actually if you follow dirt every day Dave is now paralized. They did a show with him on dirt everyday but never explained how he became wheelchair bound. He has a pretty cool truck that's custom built for him to drive.
Motor Trend Channel i absolutely love your jeep videos when are you planning on making more jeep videos because when u fix your jeeps up in the videos you help me on making decisions on what i need to do to restore my 1978 cj-7
We dont have these monster rock-crawlers here in Europe (because of some stupid eco-green dwarfs that shoot you if you step out of asphalt). Lucky you. Can't wait for part 2.
It surprised me to see Mel from Offroad Evolution and Wayalife on this video. Didn't think somebody that was on the JK Experience would be on Motortrends Ultimate Adventure.
Why was there so little footage of the Super Dirty, I figured it would be the highlight since we watched it get built. Might as well see that hard work put to use.
More footage of them going through the trail. Might ave just been because this was the first episode of the series, but I'd like to see more of them actually doing the run and less introductions.
Wish there was more offroading, and less Rick running his gums. Also, wish the videos were longer, hell, by the time you get to the action, Pewe has jabbered away half the video lol
looks like allot of fun, but you guys in general use way higher tire pressures then we do down under. Not just in this video but in all the Yankee offroading videos I’ve seen on YT, i just can’t figure out why
Depends what you're on. We did 15 psi on sand dunes this last weekend. But thats without beadlocks though. With beadlocks you could obviously go lower.
Hey, Rick Pewe you might want to learn how a tire works-- if you have Zero Pressure that would Flat and Negative Pressure would mean a vacuum at work within the tire.
Please let us see all the cars or at least most of them go through the runs. You don't have to edit it so heavily, everybody watching this is obviously really interested in how the trucks do. Don't worry about keeping our attention
It is a hardcore off road trip, what the hell do you expect?? JEEPS = They are capable, cheap to modify, and made for this. Everyone quit your bitching. Hats off to Motor Trend for building the short bed Ford and being different!!! Great Job MT!
Why in gods name pick a new F-250 to build off of?! I'm assuming Ford was a sponsor? I can respect that, but if you guys picked that on your own. I'm sorry but out of all thats avalible (New and Old) that was not a great choice if you ask me lol
It's actually not bad. They cut the frame and shortened the wheelbase to make it a shortbed, added portal axles, airlock diffs, beaded wheels, wench front and back. I imagine it makes an assload of torque to the wheels
I prefer to see rigs like that 2001 GMC that the driver isn't scared to beat it up, not like brand new 60,000 dollar Jeeps that no one can actually afford.
We are new to this world. It has amazed me every time I see something new about off roading.... this looks crazy fun....
Enjoyed watching
GREAT VIDEO RICK!!! I LOVE ULTIMATE ADVENTURE, HOT ROD DARG WEEK, AND HOT ROD POWER TOUR. SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!!!
Would love to see this ultimate adventure do the same concept but never touch pavement. Work their way across a few states by only using back roads and trails.
MotorTrend you guys getting so many good vids in the last few week its absolutely awsome ! keep them comming !
GREAT VIDEO RICK!!!! I LOVE ULTIMATE ADVENTURE !!!!
YES! 70 series represent!
Representing Clemson 4x4, Awesome!!! Solid Orange
How is it possible to run a vacuum in your tires?
Negative pressure is less then 1 atmosphere so the tire would be sucked in, not just empty.
All those rigs are cool, but Damn that Ford Superduty is Bad Ass!
thank you for letting us be there rick!
If I could only get a week off work with out all hell breaking loose at the shop, i would LOVE to do this!
This is going to be an awesome video series
so much excellent content on this channel
AWESOME!!! Great job! Wish it was longer.
Awesome episode!
Great to see some rough old tubs taking part in this.
As Rick tells us rule #3 (wear black, you die) he is in a black shirt, haha.
you guys are awesome!!
Im SO looking forward to al these films
Dave's really let himself go since Chappelle's Show went off the air.
was thinking exactly that
FORDboy357 actually if you follow dirt every day Dave is now paralized. They did a show with him on dirt everyday but never explained how he became wheelchair bound. He has a pretty cool truck that's custom built for him to drive.
I love the 5.9 grand cherokee in this video =D
Motor Trend Channel i absolutely love your jeep videos when are you planning on making more jeep videos because when u fix your jeeps up in the videos you help me on making decisions on what i need to do to restore my 1978 cj-7
why should it be 35"? we do heavier offroad on the wild with 31" tires here around the equator
This is SO cool, I can't wait to get my rig running and run this with you guys sometime :)
I came for Roadkill, I stayed for the Off-road footage!
Great to see the ORE's Mel Wade there. Always tough ass trucks outta him. Including my own! LOL
Thanks for the fun.
We dont have these monster rock-crawlers here in Europe (because of some stupid eco-green dwarfs that shoot you if you step out of asphalt). Lucky you. Can't wait for part 2.
Where is Fred
Would love to see a build spec sheet of that white TJ he blazes the trail with finding the routes...
Who's scout is that at 10:25. It doesn't show up anywhere else?
Enjoyed that! Good Vid!
Rick, you should try to get Freiburger on the UA14
I hope this goes better than the top truck challenge.
It surprised me to see Mel from Offroad Evolution and Wayalife on this video. Didn't think somebody that was on the JK Experience would be on Motortrends Ultimate Adventure.
He owns Offroad evolution and ultimate adventure has turned into a infomercial
It gets HOT out on trails like those.
I wish they were longer episodes
Love it. Awesome.
So much better than that silly top truck challenge
i wanna do this so bad!!!! im ready now for next year. i gotta start doing some checkng on where i get in...
And the trailslayer samurai's fly up everything....
Shouldn't this be almost all fans rather than all sponsors?
Ken MacMillan that's what I was thinkin.. that's how it used to be.
This video series is hard to find on your channel.
VERY true.
Vancouver man, represent!
Why was there so little footage of the Super Dirty, I figured it would be the highlight since we watched it get built. Might as well see that hard work put to use.
More footage of them going through the trail. Might ave just been because this was the first episode of the series, but I'd like to see more of them actually doing the run and less introductions.
hell you went through florida! i never saw ya
Wish there was more offroading, and less Rick running his gums. Also, wish the videos were longer, hell, by the time you get to the action, Pewe has jabbered away half the video lol
The army truck on the video is seen on part 1 of Alabama Army Truck at 00:11. Don't doubt me.
looks like allot of fun, but you guys in general use way higher tire pressures then we do down under. Not just in this video but in all the Yankee offroading videos I’ve seen on YT, i just can’t figure out why
Depends what you're on. We did 15 psi on sand dunes this last weekend. But thats without beadlocks though. With beadlocks you could obviously go lower.
I run 5 pounds when I'm off road but I got 40,s and beadlocks
6:45 Keith Bailey...I want to see or hear more about the tube frame jeep
Nice we need more
There can never be to many Jeeps!
Should of had the Alabama army truck!!!! Or will it come next?
Have you guys thought or have ever run an event up here in Washington State at Walker Valley ORV park?
Cool video
Hey, Rick Pewe you might want to learn how a tire works-- if you have Zero Pressure that would Flat and Negative Pressure would mean a vacuum at work within the tire.
My tires would hold up with no pressure at all I run 5 pounds off road 15 on road
Of all the sponsors, bds sounded the most enthusiastic
I want to see more of the runs done by the truck that was built on dirt every day.
Welcome to the south. Hope yall liked it.
Please let us see all the cars or at least most of them go through the runs. You don't have to edit it so heavily, everybody watching this is obviously really interested in how the trucks do. Don't worry about keeping our attention
This is the off road version
of hot rod drag week
They never talked about the blue jeep at 11:40
Samurais are just overpowered
Good video
Adventure Time!
I like the 98 Jeep :)
DIGGIN THE SAMURAI !
looks fun.. I wanna go..
That was it? We want more offroad footage
there are more sponsor than normal people haha
Damn what happened to chapellee? Crazy,
That Cherokee sounds MEANNN
sponsor by FORD, and ads for JEEP. lol
landcruiser are awesome surprised they aren't as popular in america as they are around the world
Is there a map somewhere of the route taken. A lot of us in the SE region are always looking for a new off road expedition route.
We'll done, great adventure! When can I work for you?
My favorite is the 85 chevy CUCV M1008!
Awesome, Dave Chapelle is with em' lol
do these vids get brought out on DVD in a longer version?
would love to see a 4runner in there or maybe a bronco
It is a hardcore off road trip, what the hell do you expect?? JEEPS = They are capable, cheap to modify, and made for this. Everyone quit your bitching. Hats off to Motor Trend for building the short bed Ford and being different!!! Great Job MT!
I'd like to see the build on the 09 wrangler with the 4bt in it
motivation to build my sports jeep
GREAT.
Might as well call it "jeepfest" lol
does anyone know what kind of lights were on the first sponsers jeep? the small leds that were stacked on the A pillars.
YAAAAY my home town Vancouver
i did all of the trails at morris mountain in my xj, it only has 33s
Give me more !!!!!!!!!
Because jeeps are the best!
the last epidsode of dirt every day
Dave Chappelle
looking a lot more, uh... vibrantly colored these days
Look at all them Diesels!
Pewe is awesome.
FULL SIZE TRUCKS!!!! :)
Why in gods name pick a new F-250 to build off of?!
I'm assuming Ford was a sponsor? I can respect that, but if you guys picked that on your own. I'm sorry but out of all thats avalible (New and Old) that was not a great choice if you ask me lol
NoOneImportant556 ever pay attention to the beginning it said ford was a sponsor
It's actually not bad. They cut the frame and shortened the wheelbase to make it a shortbed, added portal axles, airlock diffs, beaded wheels, wench front and back. I imagine it makes an assload of torque to the wheels
i want to know more about the Jeep Liberty, you never see them as hardcore off-roaders.
I prefer to see rigs like that 2001 GMC that the driver isn't scared to beat it up, not like brand new 60,000 dollar Jeeps that no one can actually afford.
the guy from nitto tires also does the jk experience why is he not in a jeep?
