Nice review! Razorock SS CNC machined razors (and maybe their aluminum ones) are made in Canada, but their less expensive razors like SLOC are made overseas; most are rebranded versions that can be found elsewhere under other names (e.g. the Quick Change is a rebranded Baili, sold under many names). Some have suggested that the SLOC is the same as the Yaqi Mellon. I haven't used my SLOC in a while; it's just okay, from what I remember. I'll have to revisit soon.
Thank you for watching! I'm glad that you liked the review. Fun fact: the day that I recorded this video I met a fellow wetshaver who brought a lot of his razors including the Yaqi Mellon head. I can confirm that they are identical, couldn't spot a single difference between them. Let me know how you find it once you revisit it. Your description is perfect - it's just OK. Decent choice if you want quick shave without worrying of nicks. Cheers!
Razor looks pretty good. Not efficient enough for me, but it’s got a certain cool factor to it. Seems you managed to get a good shave with it despite not being able to feel the blade. Sorry to hear/see that the lupo just never really clicked with you!
@@ColletteClassic thank you for watching my friend! Yeah it is what it is YMMV, right? I haven't given up on the Lupo but I'll get some rest from it. I don't have an illusion that I'll like every razor or soap out there. Also I'm happy enough that I managed to get good shave results with the Lupo, not counting the first one 😅
@@ShaveAndTell sometimes walking away from a razor for a while, then coming back a few months later does the trick. That’s what happened for me and the R41 so you never know!
Haha thanks brother! The SLOC is very far from R41 - confidently stating this without having tried the R41. The only thing in common is that they are both OC 😅
I like this razor. I got the SS version, Yaqi Mellon, from Ali and used same handle. 😊
Nice review!

RazoRock Sloc is the razor that disproves the theory that OC razors are aggressive! I'm glad you enjoyed it overall!
You're right my friend, that's the best description of the SLOC.
Very nice shave !!!!
Thank you 🙏
First! I’ve been waiting for this one! 🎉 will report back after watching

@@ColletteClassic you're so right my friend! Same goes for some soaps. Sometimes I need time to get used to their smell.
Great video review, bro! now you are ready to test Mühle Traditional R41 OC :)
