Awesome tools. Thank you very much. Your final comments were interesting. There have been times I did not dither enough and ended up with some walking noise. Something like this could perhaps be trained to deal with such walking noise. As well, I do get horizontal banding and Sirils tool to deband an image does help, perhaps down the road, a tool such as this could also be trained on such noise. Thanks again for all of your incredible work for the community.
Wow, I was already impressed by your work. But to make a "soft" suggestion and see it implemented the next day is quite something! When one thinks about some of the commercial developers who don't even fix clear bugs... No competition!
Awesome stuff! I don't know you you do it but you must be the most prolific programmer ever. Thank your your huge contribution to the community. Is there a chance that a port of Bill's Narrowband Normalization script makes into the Seti Astro Suite in the future for those who don't have PI? 👀
you will have to ask bill lol personally I don't use his narrowband normalization script at all, I just dont like the results, nothing against those that do, but a big portion of what motivates me to make these programs are things that help me, call me selfish :)
First off i want to thank you for your contribution to the astro world and i was wondering if there might be any plans of making a script for cosmic clarity sharpen and denoise for siril or any scripts for siril.?? Thank you again for all your work in this hobby
I am currently working with the developer of siril around this. You should join my discord. He was able to get statistical stretch script into a futures versuon of siril
Is the terminal required to use the Mac version? If so are the any instructions on how to use it? Thanks again for your significant efforts for the Astro community.
No. Double click the program. A terminal window will open, yes, but just give it a minute to unpack and load the first time. The UI will open. The terminal in the background is handy if an error pops up you can see what it said.
@@setiv2 Oh nice I was so confused by this lol, got it working now THANK YOU Edit: Well I got it to open but it keeps crashing immediately when I run it. However, I was trying the .fit files and I just recalled that you mentioned it has to be tiff and PNG if I remember correctly? So maybe that has something to do with it. If not I can send you whats going on in terminal when it crashes if that helps
Great tool again! I have encounter a couple issue. The Pixinsight script does not run in batch mode. Using the standalone app works very well but it does not save the FITS data associated with the image. That means I am not able to run the weighted batch preprocessing script. Hopefully this can be easily fixed. Thanks!
Just wanted to let you know that I downloaded de latest version of the suite and this one works well under Windows 11. The fits data header is saved. BTW, could it be possible to make it work so that not only works on the root folder but includes all the subfolders?
AVG AntiVirus is reporting "Win64:Evo-gen[Trj] in the windows suite setiastrocosmicclarity_satellite.exe file and removes this file . Do you run a virus checker before posting files?
@robotwillie1099 i dont show any virus on my end. Sometimes virus scanners dont like the neural net files from non certified developers. I cant help much if it shows a virus on your end, only thing I can recommend is either whitelist the program or choose not to use it, or alternatively, i make all my code publicly available. If you want to download the raw python and compile it on your end that is an option too
This is wild cool! Love your work mate ✨
I think this will be a valuable addition to the satellite trail remover.
Fingers crossed, 1.2 will remove musk
:D
Absolutely fantastic having this greatly needed feature to address our ever crowded night skies ✨🚀

@@setiv2 it's clear that it's not selfish at all! haha
Great because the first image I tried it on just left the trail and added 2 colored round blurry patch along the trail !!!

Hello, I'm trying to add this onto Mac but its unable to find it when searching in Feature Scripts... any advice please?
You added the repository url?

In keeping in the vein of Blemish blaster......how about Satellite Blaster

Are you saying the fits header data isnt saving for you?
@@setiv2 Correct. The fits header data is completely empty.

Any idea when V1.1 will be incorporated into PixInsight? I just checked for updates and it is still only on V1.0.
On my to do list. Hoping next couple days

Thank you, I will look into it on my end.
I used to do this manually with clonestamp (painting '0' over the sattelite trail), this will be a timesaver.
Ha, see you Later Elon! Well done 😊
