I usually avoid any damaged items but damaged boxes are definitely the way to go when it's something you're planning on unboxing anyway. However, I *have* taken a chance on a slightly damaged item before when it was an older and now expensive action figure for way below the original MSRP. I got super lucky because there was no damage to the item at all and the box was just a little wrinkled, whew! 💚
