One of the most chilling songs on the entire album. The album as a whole took on new meaning with his passing obviously, and this song really is no exception: literally ending the album with a song about how he's going to be alone for the rest of his life and it's time to give up on his dreams once and for all... no words needed. That final 'on holidays' with the organs ringing out as the song fades is haunting. Unlike a lot of well known sad albums out there, there is usually at least a resolution to their stories of some sort: a message of hope and recovery after a serious low point in life, some sort of preparation for a life past a traumatic event, coming to accept your own imminent demise... hell, even just *living* past the point of the album and thriving, you can at least walk away from the album knowing the artist got better. Here? No. There's... nothing past the point of that song ending. That is the conclusion to his story. That album is just the sound of someone crumbling into dust. Needless to say, it's good to see this track come to life in some way here.

It’s so fantastic seeing someone perform this song live.
