My son struggled through the Pandemic, Covid 19, during 2020. School was mandated to be done at home via internet. He hated it, missed his friends, just struggled as most kids did. I played this song many times during this period. This was a blessing for both of us.
Bless his heart. Thank God you were able to Worship and draw strength. It's been harder for children and even harder on some adults. God is able to provide us the comfort, peace and strength to endure these trying times. It's been balance for me as a believer. I learned to Pray, worship, study my Bible and give myself that balance time for family and friends rather tthrough convo or FaceTime.
This is 1sr voice I heard when I walked into the Cook Convention Center in Memphis for the Holy Convocation (COGIC) back in 1985…He (James Moore) was up there singing "Lord I wanna Be A Christian In My Heart"…I really miss those days!
I remember hearing this song when i was 3 or 4 when it first came out. My parents were COOLJC in Hartford, Conn but we loved the Winans, the Clark sisters, Rev James Moore etc
This is definitely a meditation song about what I (you) know can through Christ. I thank God for giving Elbertina (Twinkie) Clark the "Word". I feel the anointing the Holy Ghost. I felt this song in my spirit this morning. I had to open my devotion this morning with this piece. The only voice I know I heard in my hear - Rev. James Moore.
The Clark sisters recorded this song while they were on the SOG (sound of gospel) Label, the same label their mother was on at one point. Dr Clark wore this song out. LOL
i knew his voice growing up but i have never decided to research and find out to match the face with the voice........after listening and watching to a lot of his songs on UA-cam,..I can see and hear that this man was anointed beyond belief R.I.P
Praise God! I finally found the version of this song I've been looking for since the early mornings with Mel Deberry on WDIA!! I am so very happy!! thankYouLord!
I remember this Man of God, how God used Him, He was cut off before HIS time. We have to respect our temple. This is the word that the Lord is saying to His people. He uses our appetite's to "dig our grave with our own teeth". We have a work to do and must be fit to work for the kingdom.
Health issues took James away from us too soon. The lesson is to be mindful to your temple. God does not have to grant you long life if you violate the laws of nature. Just think of the gospel greats who have gone on before us because they took their health for granted. Do better my brothers & sisters!
@@itsme6095 The song says I Can Do All Things Through Christ...That Includes "Keeping Our Temple Healthy" Mr. Larry Seals Was Only Making Us Aware & Encouraging US To Do So! Let Us Pray!
@@itsme6095 the message in his song is I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. That means having the willpower to combat food addictions which is clearly what took Reverend James Moore out. Food addiction is just like alcohol or substance abuse. And we need the blood of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit to fight those demons 🙏🙌🙏
@@JaySmith-mz7vg nobody said there was. I was simply trying to figure out where he got a lot of what was put in his version from. I knew it didn't come from any of Dr. Clark's versions nor from the Clark Sisters' original version.
One of the greatest gospel singers ever R I P Mr.Moore

What does this have to do with this post??? Enjoy the music and allow him to sleep in peace. Good gracious.
It may not have anything to do with the post. But you hit it on the head we do need to start taking care of ourselves.
Amen...Thanks For The Encouragement!

Nothing wrong with that.
