i watch these every time before a physics exam. helps refresh me, the explanations are clear and easy to understand + theyre interesting. thanks for this
Why didn't i find this video earlier. SIR , honestly speaking your method of teaching is totally different from the way quintessentially teachers teach us . I can't thank you enough ❤❤❤
Me, Year 11 student, the highest one of IGCSE currently and getting no idea of vernier caliper and screw gauge. Now I've got it well. Thank you for explaining so simply.
Finally understood the concept of a screw gauge a year after being introduced to it!! Thank you @weldnotes ..! It was a very clear and lucid explanation with the video showing only the visual information that is required.
This dude just taught me about screw gauges in 6 minutes and my physics teacher had taken 6 days to teach me this. Reall informative video and would highly recommend if someone is preparing last minute.
I've watched a lot of instructional videos on micrometers and this is by far the best. One small point though - I think you mean you can get more 'precise' micrometers, rather than more 'accurate.' In physics there is a significant difference between the two.
I haven't made any technical school but somehow ended up working with metrology gadgets and grew to love them. Thank you for refreshing my mind on how to read the micrometer in a very professional , simple and fun way !
I can't put in words how much I respect you for uploading such useful videos on UA-cam. I have my Physics practical tomorrow and I really appreciate the help! Thank you so much!
man the explanation is too good in this video i read the book for like an hour and did not understand anything but after watching this video i finally understand this micrometer
Using your videos in shop class at college 10 years later. Amazingly easy to grasp. Great job and thanks for all the help. The instructors use your videos all the time.
Oh my goodness! This helped me so much!!! Currently trying to get through online course due to COVID 19 and Oh this was a lifesaver!! Made way more sense than my textbook 😂! Thank you!
Thank you. We hired somebody recently who told us he had some experience but on the initial walk-through when we tried to test him he gave us the "my old shop was metric only" excuse. We hired him anyway but it turned out he had absolutely no experience. (He couldn't even get a consistent measurement with calipers. . . . I had to show him how to hold the dang things.) I bought some used metric measuring equipment so the next time someone gives us that excuse we can still have him/her prove it. I HATE LIARS! (He doesn't work for us anymore, we still gave him a chance but he crash a machine because he started it in the middle of a program after an incert change. . . . . He was still holding on to his excuse up till the bitter end.)
This is literally 9 YEARS OLD, and yet it's so valid. Even in 2023, it hits correct and helpful. Thanks a lot, know that you helped me out, if you're around.
@@chrisvandenberg797 not necessarily I searched up this video for my physics practical exam.
